When i travelled my priorities when it comes to accommodation or hotels are cleanliness & hygiene are so important. This resort passed on my criteria.Aside from cleanliness the staffs are good & welcoming. The ambiance is superb so serene & i can feel that i was at home.Its peaceful & quite.Very well reccomended.If i ever get the chance to come back to Sigiriya definitely I will choose this place again to stay.

Paradise found! Palmyra truly is a very special place nestled in amongst the jungle. Boutique style little lodges but with the feeling of a family stay. What a wonderful family they are, too. Nothing is too much trouble and they can organise any activities you desire. In addition, they will drop you in town and pick you up whenever you like. The lodges are very pretty and spotlessly clean whilst almost invisible amongst the palms and exotic plants that surround them. Don't be alarmed by the monkeys that frequent the hotel area, and you will almost definitely see a wild Elephant on your way into town. Dilantha, Dilshan, Dilan, and Chamoo have all been fantastic in taking us on tours, airport pickups, tuk tuk drop-offs, and generally, anything we needed. If you're looking for a small but perfectly formed place to stay amongst nature with hosts that will absolutely look after you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for the perfect stay.

Pretty little hotel with clean, modern rooms. Excellent location 5 minutes drive (15 minute walk) from Lion Rock. The manager and staff were very kind and attentive. The pool is very pleasant, especially as it was cleared of leaves for us (without us even having to ask) before we swam. Dilshan prepared delicious cocktails from fresh ingredients for us whilst we swam. Overall a very enjoyable stay at a reasonable price.

We had a great stay !! The staff really took care of us + our laundry. The swimming pool is absolutely amazing : beautiful in the middle of the nature + very clean. The hut was great and clean too. The room service amazing 😍 thank you !!

The two chalets that we booked were very clean & comfortable,owner and his family are very friendly.they served us a delicious breakfast,we all had a great time at their pool,we can highly recommend it as a convenient place to stay for anyone visiting sigiriya,

Location nearby to Sigiriya rock. The room was very clean comfortable and nice they also had a nice pool and a safari to eco park it was amazing the jeep driver was very friendly and he showed us lots of elephants finally the owner and his brother was very friendly

Perfect for nature lovers! Super nice accommodation in the middle of the jungle, you are surrounded by many wild animals and beautiful flowers and birds. There are six little huts to rent, kept in a natural style, where you have all you need, including AC and fridge. A very nice local/western mix breakfast is in the very well cared garden which has even a pool with a bar! Everything in Palmyra is also very clean. Perfect location to walk directly to the Lion Rock. The owner is also super friendly and helpful and can arrange several excursions for you. We loved staying there and even extended our stay because of the beautiful surroundings. Would definitely come back !!

One of the best stays during last visit to Sri Lanka. A cool place covered with trees which help to feel you calm and quiet. Well maintained swimming pool will heal your souls once after climbing Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks which are located just few meters away. Excellent staff with smile on their faces every time 😁

Beautiful family run resort in a peaceful side street. The three brothers running the resort were so helpful in arranging all our transport and tours. Extremely close to lion rock and with a great pool!

Great place to stay in Sigiriya. A bit far from main attractions (40min on foot but never walk at night! It's dangerous) but it's not a problem. Rooms were clean and cosy, the pool was ok, the food also ok (breakfast).

To start with the positive: walking location to the main attraction (the rocks). Very quiet in general and the pool is super clean, there even is a poolbar, even though not staffed while we were there. Breakfast was plenty (bit too much, I'm afraid a lot gets wasted). However, our room had a very moldy smell and the AC didn't work properly. Water pressure was almost non-existent, I had to wash my hair in the sink as the water in the shower was so little (see video). I think there is some renovation going on (which can be disturbing when lying at the pool), so maybe this place will be a little polished until high season.

Strongly recommended! The pool is clean, there’s also a mini bar there where you can enjoy nice cocktails while sitting in the water. The room was very clean and equipped with all necessary items (fridge included). The staff is proactive and very accommodating and the atmosphere is so quiet and refreshing.

Location is very convenient for locals n foreigners to visit Sigiriya. Good breakfast. Rooms are well maintained nice n clean. Ideal for back-pack travelers... Calm n quiet environment, you get disturbed only with bird sounds. A pool is under construction. Minor changes/amendments require to delight guests, which I personally told the owner.

We stayed here for three nights and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the accommodation was lovely. Also the swimming pool was beautiful and it was very nice to go for a swim. It takes around 5 minutes to get to the restaurants and bars. We can recommend this in Sigriya !!

Great Location: The location was a great spot to travel to key attractions around Sigiriya area (Sigiriya rock, Pidurangala rock, Elephant rides, Tourist friendly resturants, Retail shops that almost had any thing you needed during your stay, Safari starting point, etc) Great Environment: The facility is a resort and stands by the name. We enjoyed our morning coffee listening to the chirping birds in a cool shaded greenery full of life. There were several rooms next to each other, yet you would have your privacy and peace of mind. Excellent Hospitality: the venue is a family managed resort. It is facilitated by the brothers Dilshan, Dilan and Dilantha who were excellent at understanding guest requirements. The room was maintained at high standard with all amneties, looks and feel you would experience is a high class hotel. Breakfast was served on time and was plentiful. Dilshan even made sure our daughter had a sponge cake in addition to their standard breakfast menu, which came with a mix of a standars English breakfast along with some home made local specialities. Dilshan made sure we got tuktuks to travel around to places we wanted. He also provided his bicycle when I wanted to go around the area on a ride. They arranged a Safari, which was driven and guided by Dilantha, one of the brothers who ensured we had a great few hours to look at the Elephants and peacocks and the nature around the Hurulu Eco Park, at a very reasonable price. Dilan made sure we got our room amneties on time at the point of checkin. I came to know they also provide laundry service on request. To add to all of this, they are constructing a swimming pool in the resort which just will beat any other place. Anything you would expect to see in a star hotel is available here.

Beautiful place in jungle. Walking distance to Sigeria. Bungalows clean and nice. Staff was quite grumpy in contrast to other hosts we've met so far on Sri Lanka. There were no towels in a room when we've arrived so we asked for them, had to wait for a while and got them only after chasing the staff. There's a mobile network tower 10 meters from the bungalow, which isn't good for a health.

A lovely place, rooms are very confortable. Perfect location, you can go to Sigi Rock ( 10-15min by foot), and the bus station to Dambula isn’t far (5min by foot). Very good breakfast, and the family who care the hotel is very pleasant. Perfect to explore Sigiriya !

We stayed there just for one night but the room is really big and cosy. A big bathroom with a hit shower. The whole resort is in a quite jungle area just perfect to relax and chill!

We booked two chalets. They were clean enough. Here water pressure was not satisfied. No TV at the rooms. And one of our chalets didn't have a minibar. We order our dinner separately as our rooms were booked BB basis. Dinner was not worth for money.

The best Spot to relax and enjoy Nature right next to Lion Rock (15min Walk)! The Chalets and Villas are in the middle of a beautiful green Garden. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintenanced. The staff and the owner is welcoming and helpful, any question was answered quickly via WhatsApp. they will organize Safari Tours to the National Parks. We we're traveling with our 4yo daughter, who also really loved the place (and the breakfast). They are building a Pool and are almost finished. So next time we're in sigiriya we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spacious rooms, extraordinarily clean and very friendly staff. It's a 10-15 min. walk away from several shops and restaurants. We rented a bike from the resort to get to Pidurangala Rock and it took us around 15 min. to get there.

The Best Accommodating Hosts ( A family comprising of Hard Working Parents, 3 sons, Tutu along with the others-one can be found spreading love in the photo ). Rooms are extremely clean. It’s amidst the nature, far away from any sorta disturbances. Their breakfast is extremely welcoming and filling - photo updated for a quick peek. Very close to Sigiriya, easy to find and they are informative. Contact them for elephant safari, spa or Ayurvedic experience… they guide you through them all.

A serene and clean place. The villas are in the midst of greenery and it was so peaceful to wake up to. The beds were super comfortable and equipped well. Breakfast which is included was well made. Highly recommend the place, especially for the price!
