I spent a year and a half at this Vision apartment and I must say I'm heavily disappointed by the whole experience. I started my stay in an apartment in this building, only to be told after a couple of months that they were renovating it (I had NOT been informed beforehand), and they were offering another one across the street. I received no compensation for the disturb of moving again, which was very inconvenient and expensive as I own heavy, big pieces of furniture that need to be moved by professionals. Once finally settled in the new flat, I get an email from them wrongly claiming that I owe them 1500 CHF. I sent them all the receipts of my rent payments, which were always on time; this made them not desist, and they started calling and writing daily, in a process I would not hesitate to call harassment. It took them over a week to realise the mistake and stop tormenting me. Now, apart from my personal experience, let me mention a few objectively bad things: * The TV offered is one of those old, box-shaped from 1998. It doesn't even show any channels. * The bed's mattress is very hard. I looked it up on the internet and found it's worth 150 CHF. * The "weekly thorough cleaning" consists in a quick vacuuming of the whole apartment; the only decently cleaned areas were the kitchen surface and the bathroom. The sleeping rooms remained very dusty. * Very rough towels were given. * The bedsheets had mysterious stains, holes and a yellowish colour. To be right, I will mention a few good points: the replacement of damaged things was usually quick and efficient, and the staff was very friendly albeit heavily disorganised, and always ready to reply my emails. On a final, bad note, let me tell you about the checkout process, which has been one of the absolute lowest points. First, as I was halfway through moving out, but still paying my rent, I came back home one day to find the fridge switched off (all my food went spoiled) and several of my belongings (mainly clothes) gathered in a thrash bag. Also, a few days later, I received an e-mail claiming that I "took away their TV and bed", which were in fact MY flat TV and guests bed. The most grotesque part is that without even bothering to ask me, nor knowing exactly the nature of these two items, they sent me a bill to replace them: 4000 FRANCS! For a TV that costs 299 CHF and an IKEA bed that costs less than 1000. This is a whole new level of unprofessional. Thankfully they admitted their mistake soon thereafter, but I lost time and effort to convince them. Finally, they took several weeks to return my deposit, and for no reason they "mistakingly" kept 10% of it. I had to send THREE reminders over the course of twenty days to get the rest of my money back. Since when I lived there (until end of 2017), the rent increased by 30%. My advice: stay away.

As a visitor I mainly noticed that the expected and promised cleanliness wasn't always guaranteed. One part of the provided service included by-weekly disposal of garbage. Sadly, the cleaning personnel would put all kind of waste together (previously collected separately by the tenant), including recyclable material like aluminium, cans, paper and cardboard, in order to throw it away with the rest of the garbage.

The apartment at Hardstrasse 238 was right above a kebap shop and it was impossible to get rid of the smell in the rooms. I tried with opening the windows and turning on the fan, but it made it only worse because the kebap shop was just right underneath, you are better off keeping all the windows shut. Other than the smell, the apartment was so very filthy. Every day spent here was disgusting.

Not mentioned in any advertisement, the apartment is above a kebab shop and it stinks. The entire apartment needs a revamp, the walls are marked, as is the floor. The online photos are in no way representative of the apartment. The entry to the building is really disgusting. Worse still, the vision team are not responsive or helpful knowing full well the details of the apartment from previous tenants.

Please don't stay here. You can find nicer hotels and short-term apartments in Zurich. No elevator, no a/c, smells, old, and no parking. The apartment we first walked into was not cleaned and it took an hour and a half for them to realize their cleaning crew cleaned the wrong apartment and for them to let us into another apartment in the same building. They gave us a 5% refund for our troubles. Believe the reviews.

one of the worse and an insult to Swiss standards. Cleanliness, security, safety, staff friendliness - they have them none.

We have stayed there for a month (2 adults + a 18 month kid). They say it's family friendly, the apartment is on the 4th floor without an elevator. Heating and hot water went missing twice in one month. They say the apartment is 80sqm, but it's an attic, usable area is much less. Photos were not taken from a completely different apartment, that was provided for us. At the same time it's horribly overpriced. Avoid at all costs!

Can't understand the negative reviews. The apartment on the 3rd floor is great. It is clean, large and looks exactly like the pictures. In addition, the service from VISIONAPARTMENTS is very friendly and accommodating. If something doesn't fit, you can also help with rebooking. So instead of complaining, we would recommend contacting support, after all, that's what they're there for 😉
