We had the menu with filets de perches du lac. Best filets de perches I had in recent times. The menu is good value for money. Excellent crème brûlée for dessert.

Great location with a lake view. Huge wine selection. Nice mix of menu items and pre-set multi-course meals. Fresh ingredients- amazing flavor. Only minor complaint is the creme Brule was a little loose/watery and the top was overcooked. Still good just not as amazing as everything else up to that point.

Outside of Geneva lies this little gem of a restaurant attached to a small hotel that offers amazing dishes with a fantastic view of Lake Geneva. This restaurant offers a limited menu, but each dish offered is wonderful. I ordered the Perch fillets and this dish was delicious, delicate and fulfilling yet not overly filling. The service level was also very good, as the staff were attentive and friendly. If you find yourself in Bursinel or passing through, I’d highly recommend stopping here!

The location as other reviewers have pointed out is excellent with a great view of the lake. The service was rather lacking possibly from lack of staff as we had to wait 15 minutes to get our aperitif order taken and another 15-20 mins for our aperitif to arrive and our meal order taken. What "shocked" us the most was the high prices CHF46 for a plate of filets perches (12 small pieces) with french fries on the side. No salad and no second service. A pity and I won't be returning any time soon.

An absolute gem of a place. We have been here twice now and eaten on the lawn / garden area. The view is absolutely breath-taking but I would say what makes this place stand out is the service: maybe one of the most professional and friendly team of waiters in the region. The food is also absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to go back next summer.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal. My main course (the sole) was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh. I tried my brother’s vegan burger and was also very pleasantly surprised by it. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful. Even though we were very few in the dining room that night, the atmosphere was positive and relaxed. My only complaint was regarding the fish soup. It tasted very smokey and the moules weren’t enjoyable.

Nice looking hotel in a quiet small town. Clean and comfortable room. Continental breakfast with great view. Nice staff. It would be nice if there was a kettle in the room. But I didn't ask if one could be borrowed. Went out all day everyday so that did't get to try dinner in the restaurant.

Excellent food with a great view!

Absolutely beautiful views when seated by the terrace! It was busy on a Friday evening, definitely make reservations. The beef tartare with cranberries was so delicious, I had it as an entree and would get it as a main next time.

One of the best in the area. Great views, but mostly the food AND service are of the best. The new chef did some amazing turnarounds to make this a great restaurant. With the service of his wife and Olivier, it makes it all complete!

The restaurant in the hotel itself was very good with having magnificent dishes, such as the stake and the fish dishes. The view was amazing and is worth to go eat there if you stop in the surrounding region of this restaurant, 6/5 rating.

This is a budget facility about 30KM to the north of Geneva. Given the efficiency of public transport,this is a great neighborhood outside the city.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant (not the hotel) Auberge communale de la clef d’or in Bursinel. Nested above vineyards, in the middle of this charming village and with views over the Geneva lake and French alps, this restaurant is ideally located. The food served here is of the highest quality. The cheese selection was great and in sizable portions. My perch filets were superbly presented and delicious. The game venaison from my host was also cooked to perfection. The service is very friendly but a tiny bit slow.
