Get to this beach on a perfect day and you would really think you're in the Caribbean, until you get into the water. Praia de Barra has a white sandy beach with crystal clear water lapping its shore. It's officially a naturist beach, although clothing is optional. It's has spectacular views over the bay to Vigo as well and the Islas Cies. There's a chuiringuito that opens in the summer (June - July) selling drinks and snacks. Parking is provided on a private property about 200m from the beach. It's safe and costs €2.50 for the day if the decide to to charge you.

Horrible ... Parking is a nightmare, police give you tickets for parking on the roads, so you pay to park on illegal private parking....3euros. Walking about 20min through wilderness, pines, dunes, high chances to get lost to get to the actual beach. On the beach; no restrooms, no chiringuitos for a beer, no beach lifeguards, no trash can, the water is cold, but not good cool water to refresh yourself, nope, it is more like cold like needles going through your skin, you feel like a numbness on your joints... ppl without clothes everywhere.... the horror ..the horror, stay away!

The most beautiful, unspoiled beach.....dog friendly.....Ellie loves it. We were lucky enough to see dolphins playing in the bay.

We stranded here with our rented yacht Don Maximo II, no harm in keeping your shorts on. People don't mind on this naturist beach. Lovely bay, sheltered from northern winds.

Beautiful beach with clear water & white sand. It is a nudist beach so embrace it & take off your clothes too! Didn’t see any children which makes it a quiet spot as well. Puppies are allowed!

What ana amazibg beach this is! A bit of a long walk walk from the parking but worth it. As it was a strong, cold wind we stayed a bit away from the beach and enjoyed sunbathing. As we travel with a camper we stayed on the beach of Vilariño, some 10 car minutes north. A fanatstic spot for the camper

Not too crowded at the moment of my visit but a nice place for a small break.
