Fantastic place for children or just take a walk, it's informative/free and has several awesome features that I highly recommend, 2 different parks a small one for toddlers and a bigger one for older children it features everything from swings to climbing apparatus to a very large slide, it also has a zip line. Round the back of the park there is a large wooded area full of branches twigs and large pieces of wood where children and adults can build fantastic "dens" out of all the materials, there is also a reasonably priced cafe and a great gift shop full of interesting little wooden toys and trinkets, highly recommended on a nice sunny day with an icecream

Brocks Hill Country Park is a pleasant place to visit. With paths taking you around the site (that are apparently wheelchair accessible) you can have some calming walk. If you're visiting with kids there's a den building area at the side of one of the walks but of more immediate interest to them will be the play areas near the visitor centre. There's a smaller, fenced area for younger children and a larger play area with lots of climbing frames, swings etc for older children. There's a cafe and toilets in the visitor centre, as well as an exhibition space.

A hidden gem with a nice play area. I didn't get a chance to explore fully, but it looks a great place for a morning or afternoon walk with friends or family.

What a fantastic park! Feels like it was designed around families with plenty of exploration areas for the kids And plenty of open space if u want a quieter experience! There is an amphitheatre, den building area, excellent play ground with 2 large slides and a smaller enclosed kids area just behind, free parking and lots of it and a cafe/visitor centre. On site is a leisure centre too. Go! Your kids will love u for It!

Something for everyone here. Pleased to be able to visit Jenno Cafe. Long walk, short walk or stroll. 3 generations had fun on our recent visit. Had a photo call on the Giants Chair!

It's a lovely place for walking the Dog & stopping for a very good coffee at the visitor Centre. Will mention that you now have to pay for parking which is SHOCKING. Oadby Council are raking it in.

Great place to let the kids run off steam over the holidays. Running around, den building, hide and seek in the trees, or playing on the play equipment. Toilets, free parking and a cafe - all good.

Nice area for walking and small play area. Heard that the cafe is being closed as council offices are being relocated there. Cafe didn't have much choice at all though. Recommend the park itself however

Great for the children with a big park and little park den making and good walks for dogs or just a general stroll with the family

  • 5/5 Liam D. 5 years ago on Google
Great for any outdoor activity with the kids has a big play area and a small one, in the winter bring a snow sleigh for the big hill, also it's such a nice place to walk the dog(s), everyone respects each other and you'll rarely ever see poo left along the stone pathway. See if you can find the hidden lake/ponds, they're nice. There's a den building area too to get the kids off their technological devices and have some real fun.

Great play area for children (3+), looking a bit tired in places and can get pretty muddy, but has more than your average swings and slide. Also a good cafe in the centre and events on to entertain kids if it's wet. Trails through the trees around the park are mostly wheelchair/pushchair friendly.
