Currently sat in Costa and if I could give 0 stars I would. We have just come back from sixth form and my friend was hungry so we stopped in Costa. Me and another friend had brought a drink from another shop and sat in Costa with the drinks whilst our other friend ate. We were sat and multiple staff were staring at us. A worker with blonde hair and glasses came up to our table and told us to put our drinks away which we did straight away as it’s understandable. Then we heard her talking to the other workers pointing at us talking in a very patronising way saying she wanted us out. Then she pointed at us as she stormed by saying “those girls are disrespectful” she then left and came back a few minutes later dressed out of her uniform. Then her and 2 other workers went into the back and continuously looked through the glass of the door pointing at our table. I would just like to say the table next us is full of food from other shops. This service was disgusting and has left me and my friends feeling uncomfortable and upset.

Not a bad Costa Coffee outlet. But I'm fed up with the damn screens they have up on their sales counters with little service hatches. I actually drew blood on my finger

Very cold attitude from employees. Didn't feel welcome at all. Quality of coffee poor, not even compliant with Costa standard. I requested whole milk and barista told me she used whole milk but when I tasted coffee it was skinny milk. Guys do something with your service or find another job.

Last week we went and had coffees and breakfast. My daughter has a nut and sesame allergy and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. When I asked if it was possible to put her breakfast on a fresh tray to go in the oven to heat up, not only were they fine with that, the person handling the food washed her hands and all the way up to her elbows before starting. So many places don’t know how to handle allergies, but this was above and beyond service.

If I could give no stars I would. Went today and I’m so appalled by the service. Staff are not welcoming at all and all look like grumps. The only table that was available was dirty. You would think they would use their initiative and clean the table when they see someone has just sat at it but no what do they do just stare and give dirty looks. I had to clean the table myself with a tissue. Honestly every Costa I’ve been to I’ve had a good experience. How this one is running the way it does is beyond me. Thank goodness there is Bru and Makaan as Costa is definitely a place to avoid. To the staff there, it doesn’t hurt to smile and act like decent people throughout the whole time I was there with family we were just stared at by particular staff member in the till. Would not recommend at all.

I did not have a nice experience at all! Staff are very rude and not welcoming. I went with my young child, who has specific dietary requirements, I bought a home made sandwich for him however much to my dismay I was told I was NOT ALLOWED to eat food purchased from outside, I explained my situation but the member of staff was extremely dismissive. I will not be going back and will advise my family and friends to do the same. I would quite happily give 0 starts but that is not an option! The general welcome is not great either, tables that were not not occupied had lots of cups and rubbish on them.

I'll be honest, they were absolutely horrible. Within a very short interaction I almost went ahead and just had our drinks anyway, but the staff were that consistently awful and managed to be horrid again in the space between grabbing my order and putting it on the side that I asked for my money back. Not the sort of treatment I'm used to in a costas at all, and usually go there for the friendly atmosphere. Disheartened and disappointed - went across the road instead and had a much happier interaction, certainly won't ever bother with this one again and truly hope that the two young women who work there have much happier days in the future, it's got to take a heavy toll on a person to be that awful.

The young lady was given a mozzarella and tomato panini to toast, normally they would use a green tongues and a sheet to put in the toaster. The cheese overspill was pulled off and discarded. Not crispy enough as requested. What happened to the original panini press? On my visit they did not for us vegetarians it is very disturbing. We ate in so we could see the bad practices. The long spoon for the late was filthy so we swapped to the wooden stirrer’s. Definitely a time to improve standards and quality control of the stores. No room for bad practices as people are paying good money and expect top notch service for their investment in your stores.

don’t even know where to start. my son is level 3 autistic and has a blue badge. i visited this costa store today but accidentally left my blue badge in my other car due to swapping cars. i arrived at costa and nipped in for two minutes with my son and i parked in disabled (i visit this store often they probably see me park there numerous times) i have all documentation proving i have a DB but i thought i’m going to be here for probably the best part of two minutes so it shouldn’t be an issue. i parked close to the store doors due to my sons disability he isn’t able to walk for long periods of times and it’s also unsafe. the blonde chubby lady was SO rude and it was SO uncalled for. she basically told me i’m lying about my sons disability and i shouldn’t be parked there. she is ALWAYS rude and i’ve never had a pleasant moment with this lady. she basically discriminated my son which i will be taking further due to a hidden disability? costa need to be more wiser on who they employ cause she definitely shouldn’t be in employment. i am looking forward to taking this further. will never return here again. rude and arrogant people

Tables are kept cleaning, the staff and smiling, free Wi-Fi is available, and coffees and food are as good as every other Costa Coffee. Whether you like Costa will determine whether you like this coffeehouse

Decent cafe on the main road through Oadby city centre. Quick service, decent coffee and plenty of free tables with lots of space.

Not too bad overall. Drinks are a bit pricey but somewhat worth it. Service is amazing, staff is so kind

Dark dingy and even a little bit grimey. The service isn't great, it's Costa so the food and coffee is pretty standard. The table are cleaned when staff feel like it, it's dark with no atmosphere. Bru is up the road on one side, cafe Makkan on the other side. Avoid Costa unless it's a takeaway. Never busy that's obviously a clue too.

I made an order for more than £30 through Just Eat for the staff of our business. After a 2 hour wait with the status stating driver is at the store, the order was processed as delivered yet we hadn’t received anything. No customer service number or direct line to the store so I will now have to go through the long process of reclaiming my money back through Just Eat.

One of my favourite places. Always always a friendly greeting. Always ready to help and make a great coffee. I will always go in there. Grandchildren love their breakfast there.

There is no 0 star so have to give 1. I really disappointed with here whenever I had to go. The staff are not welcome to me and my kid. Always try to warn something with our table. Once, they asked me to clean around with bringing broom although I always leave my table clean. Its the worst Costa ever. I really not recommend here especially who has children.

Oadby Costa - Absolutely love this coffee shop. Me and my friend go every sat morning. They are very child friendly. The staff are amazing. Especially the manager and manager assistant Laura who have amazing customer service. And Laura is a credit to her team. Well done

I was in here for 1 hour, very friendly and fair team. I assumed I ordered and meal deal but only charged for coffee and I took it without the sandwiche but when I highlighted to them they was very sorry. I brought the sandwiches separately after and they was kind enough to make it into meal so it don't cost as much. Will definitely be visiting again.
