This is a beautiful preserve in a ridiculously fancy neighborhood. It also contains a kayak/canoe launch into salt creek and is along the salt creek trail. There is a good sized gravel parking lot with an accesible portapotty and tons of informational signs. The paths are wide and well maintained crushed gravel. It is very beautiful prairie meadow and also runs along the salt creek. Very nice spot to get out into nature.

Beautiful preserve with little pond for fishing, good for short walk. Have parking lot as well. Connected to Salt Creek trail, can walk to Bemis Woods which is another nice and bigger picnic area.

Catch and release pond, serene area and great to bird watch. We park there to walk part of the Salt Creek Trail.

6/10/2023, Entry to Salt Creek trail at Canterberry Lane in Oakbrook is closed and barricaded. The Salt Creek page in Cook County forest Preserve gives notice that the Red paved trail under I-294 is closed until 06/09/2023. I posted this update 6/10/2023. #Salt Creek Trail, # Cook County Forest Preserve, #294, #Dean Nature Sanctuary - Oak Brook Park, # Cook County Bike, #Cook county trail, # Bemis Woods, #Forest Preserve District of Cook County, #Forest Preserves of Cook County

Its a nice park. Its right on the salt creek trail. Well the trail is at the end of the block. Salt creek is a great place to cycle or walk as it is paved. This park is a good stoo off point. Also there is a parking area. It has a nice covered picnic area and an out house. I guess there is fish in the small lake as i see people fishing. Also it seems to be very handicap accessible because i dos see someone with a motorized wheel chair go all the way to the lake

Was smaller than I thought it would be, trails were short and confusing

This place is Amazing,Calm,Relaxing a great place to be at Peace beware of the animals as their is a little sanctuary for them here 😊 This place is and should be enjoyed by people that enjoy the great outdoors peaceful bird watching any type of flying creatures. It has its CONS the bridge that the highway is on is very close access to anyone truly its dangerous during "Construction " at one point we came across 2 tanks of red gasoline ⛽️ containers we didn't come near them but they were by the tagged wall . We also came across a deers 🦌 legs and bones possibly ripped apart by a fox or something! Or someone maybe a wolf . Don't let nature scare u from enjoying these amazing places.

Nice relaxing nature area with a small pond and a walking path. I believe catch and release fishing is allowed, but read the signs to make sure. There is a gazebo with seating to relax in the shade. It hasn't been very crowded on my visits.

Don't expect to get anywhere here other than access to the pond, because the trail is closed via 2 different entrances by high fences. Even access to the parking lot has a camera and gate. My guess is suspicious individuals in the past messed this up for everyone else
