I was referred to Athletex by my primary care physician after being involved in a car crash. This is the second time I've had to go through physical therapy. The first time was at Christ Hospital. The physical therapy provided at Athletex was much more personalized and my therapist, Chris, took the time to explain each step of the way making me feel as if he actually cared for my recovery. He even pulled out a full sized spine model and broke everything down Barney style for me to understand. Every staff member is extremely friendly and I felt welcomed every time I entered the building. I went from not being able to stand up from a sitting position to feeling better than I did before the crash. I would absolutely recomend Athletex to anyone in need of physical therapy and I plan on asking for another referral from my physician in the unfortunate events of a future injury.

I was so happy with my physical therapy after I had a knee replacement. I worked mostly with Tom and Siobhan, who were friendly, knowledgeable and helped me understand every step of the process to getting better. The staff make the environment inviting and someplace I looked forward to going to 3 nights a week. I actually miss going now. I know I will be back in a few years when I have my other knee done!!

I would recommend Athletex to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. The Entire staff are Amazing! Athletex offers a vast number of healing modalities to accommodate your needs. I was in need of therapy for shoulder replacement and sciatica. Tom worked with me and I can honestly see and feel a huge difference. My shoulder range of motion is better than I could’ve expected. I can also drive long distances with my sciatica and feel no pain. 🥰 There is a sense of family at Athletex and lightheartedness. They will work you and you will get good results. I've been a patient with Athletex from when they were in Hometown. The staff is number one, there is not one other place that can match up to them. From the front desk to everyone they are the BEST. Tom, Chris and Tim work with you from the start to the end. You can feel the difference each session that you are there. I differently wouldn't be doing what I've done without Athletex. I highly recommend Athletex for all your sports and physical therapy needs. I originally went there after my rotator cuff surgery. While I couldn’t budge my arm an inch going into therapy, I finished raising my arm completely up and above my head without any pain or discomfort. My PCP occasionally requires PT for my hip or back pain, and I go directly to Tom Mulvey. Tom and his entire staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

I started going to Athletex after my rotator cuff surgery. I would highly recommend Tom and his staff for all your physical therapy needs. If I need therapy in the future I would definitely go back to Athletex.

From reception to physical therapists, this place is absolutely awesome. From the moment I walked in, I got the vibe this is “one big happy family” here. I thoroughly enjoyed every visit.
