ALWAYS EXCELLENT PIZZA! Our family has enjoyed their pizza for over 40 years! Consistent! The sweet sauce is phenomenal and the service is always good! Other favorites are the Sauteed Chicken dinner - absolutely magnificent flavor. Erica, one of the phone girls - is amazing - always courteous, efficient and friendly! SIMPLY THE BEST PIZZA!

We had a great time. The food and service was awesome. Our waitress Kirstia was great as well. Kept us smiling and never wanting for anything.

Nice place, friendly staff. A little busy the night we went so our waitress kind disappeared for rather lengthy times. Maybe do to the fact she was chatting with other waitresses but the food was great. And large portions. Decent prices. Large selection of food to choose from. Pizza seemed to be a big favorite among the customers that night. We will definitely go back again to try some of the other delicious meals.

Waitress told us she was putting bread in for us. 15 min later still no bread and no update. 10 min later the pizza came. Still no bread. No update. I asked her as we were eating and she said she forgot about it and when she finally remembered it was burnt. Than she said she put it in again and someone stole it. No discount, no sincere apology. Just a check. No response from manager either.

Just enjoyed my 12 year dating anniversary with family at this amazing restaurant. The service was Epic and the food was cooked with so much love and flavor. I was so excited to find a restaurant during this pandemic that was open for service. They made my whole entire month.

Was good but ordered thin and crispy which our family loves and someone made it with thick crust. Needless to say everyone had 1 piece and were disappointed 😞. When called to complain the Girl was very nice and sympathetic and put my name for credit on next order

Our favorite for years. We moved out of state 23 years ago, and whenever any of us visit Illinois it is a gimme that we stop in here for the best pizza anywhere!

It’s better to stick with the Italian dishes such as pizza or pasta otherwise you are in for a very bland surprise. I ordered the broiled walleye fish expecting a nice, flaky, seasoned fish. I was sorely mistaken. While nice presentation it was as bland as printer paper. I have learned my lesson, nice friendly family atmosphere though. P.S. Don’t mind the chicken bone was trying to save my tastebuds from the horrid blandness known as walleye.

Ive been here in the past many times. I was very excited to show my boyfriend a new restaurant and after talking it up for weeks it fell very very short of how i remember it. When entering we were greeted by two hosts. One of which rolled her eyes very aggressively and told us we looked different in a very sarcastic tone. We had dressed up for our anniversary, me being in a dress and him in a dress shirt and pants. Which brings us to the next issue of the wait time at the table. I understand a wait for busy dinner rushes and large parties. But waiting 15 minutes before a very kind server came over to ask if we had a server was unacceptable. Our actual server was hard to find most of the time and greeted my boyfriend and I with a cool "how are we ladies" when she realized my above the shoulder red haired boyfriend was actually not a lady she laughed and tried joking it off. The food was sub par with the soup being very bland and the alfredo sauce being exceptionally watery. The grilled chicken was everything i could have hoped and was very good. The salt shaker was rusted and dirty. When it came to the bill we had to ask many times for the check as she continued to ask us if we wanted something else to drink and about dessert. I wont be returning to my favorite special occasion place any time soon. Very disappointing.

My spouse and I were glad to be sitted right away when there should be 45 minutes to an hour wait on a Saturday night. The hostess (which we didn't get the name) was very nice to accommodate us and our waitress, Brook, was very attentive and hardworking. The menu has wide variety of appetizing selections. The food was delicious and priced well. Good ambience!! It was a great experience overall and we will be back!!

We came during the dinner rush, but by not having a reservation, we were told that it would be a 45min+ wait or, as the hostess suggested, we could sit at one of the high top tables near the bar. That turned out to be an excellent suggestion for the 3 of us as we were seated in server Savannah's section. She was extremely helpful and polite in handling our dine-in and carry-out orders with ease. Every course was served promptly and skillfully which made our entire dining experience all the more enjoyable. Bravo to Savannah and Palermo's for another delicious evening. I look forward to our next visit to the best Italian restaurant on the South side very, very soon...

Words can not describe how great the Italian food is here at Palermos. Whether I carry out or dine-in, I'm always satisfied with Palermo's authentic Italian Food. Look at this Chicken Alfredo I picked up here for $25, there's so much freshly breaded chicken, the noodles are fresh, and the sauce is like no-other!! Truly delicious!!! Best Italian Food in Chicago!!!

Wow! Just WOW! We came to Palermo’s for dinner with a sizable crowd (15 - max reservation is 18, fyi) and the entire experience was amazing. When we walked in, I felt like we were in a grandmothers house. It was warm and welcoming. The tables are arranged for gathering and lingering. The servers didn’t mind at all when we rearranged the room to make it more Deaf friendly. And the food was incredible. I am guessing this is about as authentic Italian as it gets. So enjoyable!!!! My only regret is I didn’t take pictures!!

Definitely not worth anyone's time. To wait over 2 hours for a large pizza and two sides. Didn't come hot, the breaded ravioli were just breading and cheese(no meat, and tasted like nothing), cheese sticks much the same, not worth 60$ of food and for the girl on the phone to not care or bother.

The fresh bread was very good. The minestrone was also tasty and loaded with the right ingredients. The baked mostaccioli was tasty with a meat sauce. My husband got the same but added meatballs. He said the meatballs were very good and "real." The atmosphere was typical Italian restaurant and the service was friendly and efficient. My only ding would be the oil at the table seemed to be a blend, which is not my preference, but it was good enough with the tasty, fresh bread. Overall, it was a nice experience. The complimentary valet service is a nice touch as well.

Not a bad choice on the menu. They were out of the wine I wanted, then out of the dessert too.

Great dining experience! The staff was warm and welcoming. The caramel apple martini was extraordinary. We ordered pasta and it was delicious. The menu had extensive choices. Even the table next to us was talking about how everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends. I can't wait to get back and see if the pizza is as good as I remember as a kid!

My sister and I went for lunch and we ordered Italian Beef sandwiches. I got mozzarella cheese on mine and she didn't. Their Italian bread is the best I've had. It made the sandwich so much better. The fries were crispy and good as well. You can get a side of pasta or salad instead of fries. It took at least 30 minutes, maybe more to get the sandwiches which was a long time. Our server could have checked on us more and I had to flag the gentleman with the water to come to our table. He didn't come back since he initially brought the water.

Let me start by saying that Palermos is our go to pizza place. Fast, hot, fresh, delicious pizza. However, I have had the same issue happen to numerous times. I always order the same thing.... thin crust, half sausage and pepperoni and the other half DOUBLE sausage green pepper and onion. And somehow they always seem to charge me for double sausage but it doesn't always make it to the pizza. When you are ordering for meat eating guys, it's frustrating, especially when I have to hear their complaints.

I've been to Palermo's a few times over a couple of decades. I'm pleased to see the food and service remains consistently good over the years. It is a pleasant atmosphere and decant service. It's not the best Italian food I've had but it's good. Although, my opinion might be a little skewed because I've been privileged to have had some very fine, top-notch Italian food.

I live in New Mexico and when ever I visit I look for great Italian food. Me my sister, niece and grandma went there and when I say amazingly delicious 😋. My grandma kept saying this good. The service was amazing her second day working and the restaurant itself had home living room feel. I loved this place!

I was there for a baby shower and also bought take out. The food in the restaurant was very good. The take out was good, but much better IN the restaurant. The pizza I bought was packed full of ingredients, they did not skimp in ingredients. The take out was supposed to be ready at 4pm, but was not ready until 4:30pm.

Amazing!!! We went on an early Friday afternoon, and it was very quiet. The food was amazing. Pizza was very well done and we LOVED the garlic bread (forgot to take a pic). We will definitely come back

I've eaten here plenty of times before but it was my first time picking it up myself - extremely simple process. I called in and ordered a pizza, they gave me a wait time over the phone. Then we went there at around the recommended time, paid for the pizza, and as soon as it was ready, we picked it up and left! They have seating in the pickup area which was very helpful for me, even if there was short-term take-out parking right outside. Pizza was delicious as always, we always get double sauce because their sauce is just delicious. A little pricey but always amazing!

I don't care for their regular or deep dish pizza, the thin and crispy is another story though. The thin and crispy is quite good and much thinner than the standard. I actually did not like Palermo's for a long time because of the sweet sauce. The sauce is one of the sweetest I've had but I guess my tastes have changed because I've been enjoying it lately. If you like a sweeter sauce Palermo's is worth a try.

Really disappointed in your service. I just called to place an order for pick-up and they tell me it’s an hour and forty-five minute wait. The last two times I’ve ordered pizza, it’s been VERY cold. I called and told this politely to one of your reps answering the phone. She hung up on me after I told her this. This is another example of negligence, greed, avariciousness, and malfeasance by this company. I know no one will respond as no one cares. The incompetency, and the illiteracy, and the criminality, and the abrasiveness and obnoxiousness and the repugnance of this customer service is unbelievable.

We had dinner Saturday 4-9. The server Aaron seemed to busy to either bring more silverware or bread plates. When I asked for more bread, he stated that we might fill up on bread ! I couldn’t believe it. Then he forgot to bring the bread! He seemed to have too many tables in his station. We ordered dessert that took 15 minutes! The bathroom was very dirty also. I will not be returning for dine in. The pizza was good. My aunt left the tip. If it was up to me I would have given him 5% of the $170 dollar bill.

Great service!!! Because of the high google rating I had Uber drop me off here while heading to Midway Airport. I chose lasagna with sausage. It was well prepared and had great flavor. The warm bread with butter was fantastic and all you could eat. The dinner salad was good with creamy ranch dressing. I wasn’t disappointed and will try to return to try different menu items.

After multiple times giving them the benefit of the doubt, they just keep failing me on the most simple task. not sure if they are losing their touch or if they got new cooks but all I ask is for them to give me my pizza well done with a crisp and they always give it to me sloppy. I have to go home and put it back in the oven. How difficult is it to leave the pizza longer in the oven ? Not to mention first time ordering wings and it was nothing but batter. Will not be coming here anymore

Great experience. We were having dinner And meeting some people. Our party turned out to be bigger than expected. Our server was more than accommodating even though we were a huge inconvenience. Thank you, Kirstia D!!!

This is the best place for pizza I have ever been to. We order pizza from there all the time and with the exception of a few times, we have always gotten our food hot and on time. Their other foods are just as amazing. We will never order pizza to our home from another place. 😊

There is no better place to go for a wonderful dining experience from the hostess to the owner Tony! Drinks are fun, food is excellent and service is the best! Check them out 24/7 via Google on the TV show "Check Please" for a sneak peek!

This is one of the best pizza places in my opinion. The pizza is always good and their pasta is also amazing. Every time we come to dine in, it turns out a great experience. Plus, I added the Peach Ice Tea Cocktail as one of my favorites. If you do come for $5 dollar Martinis on Thursdays make sure you buckle down as they are strong but good at the same time. One might just be enough.
