A friend of mine had turned 100 years old a couple weeks ago. He don't really get out and go shopping no more because he don't drive. Also he doesn't like to depend on other people. I just so happy to call him to see how he was doing. He just wanted to get out the house and see how the world was going on. And he was talking about he wanted some fish he couldn't remember the name of the fish place. But he knew it was red and white. It was a no-brainer that he was talking about J&J Fish in Oak Park. Took him over there and they had a full menu of Fish and Chicken and gizzards and mac and cheese. Even I was surprised about the mac and cheese. This gentleman behind the counter was very helpful with my friend and me. The food was great.

Fresh, hot and delicious food! 😋 Vivian has great customer service and it really makes a difference. We drove from Edgewater because of her and this is my absolute go-to location.

Went there for a platter. Ordered the catfish with lemon pepper seasoning. It is very good. Nice and crunchy on the outside and very moist on the inside. Highly recommend!!!

I dunno about the bad reviews, but the food here is really nice! I like how the service goes now. Glad i dropped by and ordered while ignoring the low rate. U guys gotta try their wings and catfish!

Good food, love the bbq mild chicken and the fries on it, good place to grab a bite or take it to work for lunch later, recommend this place, as well enjoy it!
