I stay in about 100 hotels a year. This hotel was fantastic. It was clear that they had just refurbished and our room looked and felt incredible. Very clean and very appealing. The furnishing, paint, and feel of the room was that of a luxury hotel. The shower was awesome, with an overhead rain type shower as well as a separate hand held shower head with great pressure. We stayed in a tower room with pool view and for us the tower part of the room was worth the money. It gives you a full 180 degree view of the back area and easy eyes on the hot tub and pool to see if it is worth going down. They have a couple of cool terraces on the 9th Floor that overlook the surrounding area with a very cool view. The staff here was the cherry on top. They were all extremely pleasant and accommodating. From the front desk staff to the house keeping, every employee was great. We will 100% be staying exclusively in this hotel when staying in Orlando. I highly recommend this hotel!

What can I say, I was pleasantly surprised! I was a little apprehensive going into this because I have come to Florida several times. And this hotel has been here for as long as I can remember. But they have done a AWESOME job refurbishing this place! It looks like new. We ended up staying two nights and the shower was perfect; the best shower I’ve ever had my entire life. The front desk staff was super nice along with the bellhop. Nice pool and outdoor bar area. And the room has all the basic needs refrigerator and microwave upon request. The one and only down side is you have to pay $19 a day for parking. So I will definitely be back but for shorter trips mostly because the parking cost can add up quick!

Stayed 7/1-7/3 had an great time. Lisa checked us in she was amazing and friendly. All the bartenders for both areas were amazing as well very friendly and knowledgeable. (Unfortunately I can’t remember all their names.)The hotel is gorgeous and was so clean the fitness center was nice as well I was pleasantly surprised it had free weights. The fact that you can walk to get anything you need is great as well. Our room was a king tower room. It was super roomy and clean and comfortable it made it hard to want to get out of bed lol

I stayed the night for a class held here. The room was super clean, well stocked and the bed were comfortable. The shower was wonderful, with a wide shower head and a wand, good water pressure and hot water that lasted an hour. The hotel staff was AMAZING and very helpful in every aspect. The pool and hot tub were very clean and beautiful, even though I didn't use them. The decor is gorgeous and I wish I had more time to explore and take photos. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I reserved a king room but was given 2 queen beds instead. Staff did give me a partial refund for the trouble but I feel that I made a reservation for a reason

Hotel 5-Star Review When I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The check-in process was swift and efficient, and they went out of their way to accommodate my preferences. Throughout my stay, “Lisa” and the other staff members displayed a remarkable level of professionalism and attentiveness. They were always ready to assist with any request and were proactive in ensuring I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The cleanliness and comfort of my room were impeccable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining high standards and made the environment pleasant during my stay. As a token of my gratitude, I will leave a glowing five-star review on popular review platforms to share my fantastic experience with other travelers.

We stayed here for one night. Made a reservation the night before, arrived around 10:30pm and got the room we requested - with two queen beds. Our room was clean, staff was very nice and we were very pleased with the quality of service. There are several restaurants within walking distance (a couple of them right next door). We will definitely return here in the future!

We booked here for a week. It could be a five star hotel but the reason for the four is that it is not really a kid-friendly hotel. I did not see anyone young child or teenager. Kind of intimidating to use the pool when you’re the the only parent with two boys while there were very attractive business looking couples there romantically enjoying the pool and a fancy lounge bar as you enter the hotel to elevator. Also we saw couples in hotels elevators all dressed up saying they’re going to the rooftop for a party as I am taking my boys back to our hotel room for bed. 😁 Otherwise the hotel is very unique, clean, elegant, and peaceful and convenient to theme parks. If I had a spouse with no children, it would be where I want to spend a week with. Very romantic place or for young business people.

I stayed at the hotel for my 43 birthday 🥳 celebration. The hotel is fantastic. Beautiful and very clean rooms. Amazing staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurants around they are amazing. Danny he went above and beyond with us… is very close to everything you can go walking anywhere and Icon park was a great experience and is next to the hotel . We will definitely come Back and we already tell our family and friends.

Not a bad place. Not quite as nice as some autograph hotels but better than everything surrounding. However, if you are a college football fan, as I am, I would stay somewhere else because they don’t have ABC in the rooms so you can’t watch the games on Saturday.

Amazing service experience here. They went above and beyond providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had to move rooms due to noise, and they were very accommodating. The location is extremely convenient too. Great choice in the Marriott portfolio.

I purchased in full months in advance, Monday through Friday the week after Thanksgiving. It occurred to me that we were landing at 11:45 p.m. Monday evening, which means we would not check into The Castle until past midnight the next morning. I called the hotel to make them aware of our actual check in. I spoke to Ariel, who made it clear that if we didn't check in via the app, we would lose the room. I was astounded. As I paid for the room in full in advance, how is this even an issue? Her response, "This isn't about you. It isn't fair if you aren't in your room and other individuals require your room." I was astounded. I paid in full in advance for the room for four days checking in on Monday to avoid an issue checking in early Tuesday morning at 1:00 a.m. How is this an issue?! I was outraged. Ariel's response was that she would check us in on Monday, "Only if you guarantee you are coming in on Tuesday morning." I assured her we were. She acted as if she was doing us a favor for a room I paid for months in advance for a four day stay versus the actual three day stay. Tuesday, after I slept in the bed, I went to grab my phone to walk out to a dinner meeting and I noticed the fitted sheet was not changed prior to my arrival as there was makeup all over it, (see photo). Cherry on top of a disturbing experience with a Marriott property experience.

Beautiful and well-designed hotel (recently renovated) with great access to the area's restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and attractions. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant and dinner & drinks in the evening at the bar. The pool is great, though we really liked the roof-top terrace with amazing views of I-Drive attractions. Tip: if you find yourself in Orlando during one of the many racket launches (be it NASA, SpaceX, or any other), check it out from the roof-top terrace.

Nice property with significant service issues. The positive: Rooms are nice and refurbished and the pool is great. The challenges: Room service did not take place on 2/3 nights - even after daily check-ins and reassurance by reception. No lounge or breakfast for Bonvoy members, but a 50% of breakfast which is ridiculous. The hotel has to cover up on gaps… otherwise it‘s not deserving 4 stars! Also parking is ridiculously expensive, which is more or less standard for Orlando.

Stayed here for the first time last weekend. Loved the room and the location as its walking distance to cool attractions and restaurants! The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating. My only complaint would be the AC in the room, as it kept shutting off and turning back on all night making the room pretty hot and I would wake up sweaty during the night at least once. Other than that I loved the hotel, especially the hot tub, the bartender at the outside bar Armando WAS AWESOME! loved him. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Great location if you are going to Universal but a bit far from Disney, the rooms are not over the top, nice but not super awesome (of course this isn't a start hotel either)y only gripe is that you need to pay for parking which should be pay off the room rate given the location, guessing they are doing this too keep the online price lower than the local competition. Nice pool and gym. Overall a good experience

Great room at a great price. Located within walking distance of food and grocery. Not a resort, but a unique and stylish hotel. Not so family-ish, but a neat and classy renovation on a different style hotel. Good and drinks were good as well.

I am amending a previous bad review. I wrote the negative review because I had an issue with my reservation. The first “manager” I spoke to was not helpful and offered no options. I was very unhappy & I complained to Marriott. In very short order, I got an email from the real manager, Danny Carino, and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction. The staff at the desk is very friendly & helpful. The hotel decor is funky & has lots of cool areas to hang out. The room I had was super cute & clean. The location is convenient to lots of attractions. After an initial snag, my stay turned out to be very enjoyable. I will stay here again.

Nice place. Some renovations were being done during the visit. We were told about this prior and given the option to cancel. Didn’t make use of many of the amenities at the hotel but it was fine. There was no cleaning of the room over 3 nights. Not sure what was up with that. So we had to ask for extra towels etc. It was centrally located and in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel was nice, the room was clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable. We stayed there a week ago for my husband birthday. I purchased a $60 tripod that was left in the room. I called twice both times front desk claim no tripod was found. I don't believe this to be true, I gave it to him as a gift there and it never made its way out of the room. It's disappointing. We each had 1 bag, and the tripod was too big to fit into either bags. I wish the housekeeper would have been honest, since we tip her pretty well for a one night stay. I'm so annoyed, now he has the camera and I have to order another $60 tripod because someone thought it was cool to take something that didn't belong to them and lied about it

We had a very nice stay at the Castle Hotel. More importantly, they delivered big time on the customer service front (specifically Ariel, she was amazing). I left some very important items in the hotel room (including a hard drive with 10 years worth of family photos), and Ariel personally took my items to the local UPS store, and even went back a second time after I didn't hear back from them. The room was nice enough, the proximity to Icon Park is pretty cool (although we didn't go there). Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The pool was heated and super warm (even on the 1st of March) so that was nice.
