For what the staff had to deal with they are doing an amazing job. While most doctors,PAs and nurses were still kind and helpful even under stressful conditions. I felt they were knowledgeable. What could have made it better isn’t really anything the staff can do. More rooms, more staff and less wait time.

I took my grandma to the ER, they wouldn’t let me in because it’s patients only. Which I can understand, but she has severe memory loss and is losing touch with reality. I explained that to the officer at security and I was still not allowed in. It’s been over 4 hours at this point and she still has not been admitted to a room. She wasn’t answering her phone for awhile so I called a lady at the on of the desks in the ER, she was extremely rude and gave me a weird name for the waiting room. I asked what it meant and she was very stubborn with her response. I’ve been to this hospital before a couple years ago to figure out if I had a concussion one time. I had loss of hearing because of my concussion. They gave me no X-Rays and proceeded to FLUSH MY EARS BECAUSE OF MY HEARING LOSS FROM MY CONCUSSION. They told me I didn’t have a concussion which later I found out I did from another doctors office. This hospital is pathetic lol

Excellent service. I was greeted promptly and very friendly team from check-in till last nurse that came in with discharge instructions. I was taken to a room right away. Very efficient team from Nurse to PA to MD who all came in to assess my health situation. They took care of me right away and I was expedited within two hours.. Thank U Dr Phillips ER for great service and professional care.

This was actually the quickest ER trip I had ever experienced - in and out in three hours. My nurses were wonderful. I'd be giving a higher review except for the fact that the specialist I was referred to by the ER is booked entirely for 2024. People are coming to you for help and it doesn't help them when you give them one option that you know isn't available. Please have additional options and stop referring to a doctor who is currently unavailable.

The nurse that took care of me I can't seem to be good with names but she was so awesome. Her compassion caring dedicated to her love of work is the most amazing feeling to have. This hospital has always been great walking in from the moment you step in the door to you leave. The only hospital I trust and will always go to for myself or my loved ones. Thank you so much for the kindness and caring for your patience that walk into your facility God bless. Please give the nurse who to care of me a part in the back and praise. She was so kind.

Listening, caring and very kind care. Wait was long as they were busy but when seen I was extremely pleased with my care and quick treatment and quality of care. The PA that saw me first really heard me and cared thus making me comfortable with my pain and truly seeking a diagnosis as to why and how to treat. My deepest appreciation and respect. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience with the hospital! The nurses were so polite and friendly! Everyone in the ER was helpful. My 4 year old son was very scared but they made the process so smooth! Thank you for your hard work!

I came into the er at around 2am with extreme chest pains. I walk in visibly in pain and holding my chest. The nurses looked semi-concerned but took their time. After finally seeing the doctor and explaining what I'm feeling, he basically brushed me off and told me that I'm too young to be experiencing heart attack symptoms. I understand that I'm young, 22, but that doesn't mean that there can't be anything wrong with me. I don't feel like enough tests were run and I honestly feel like nobody listened to me or cared. I've been having pain for some time and I feel like it's kind of a slap in the face to be told that I'm basically overreacting. It was a waste of time and money to come here to be sent out the door feeling the same when I feel like more could've been done.

Nurses were dismissive, impatient, and slow. They did not follow through with their promises and had to be reminded multiple times to bring chapstick or food. The discharge took about an hour. With the nurse disappearing throughout the process. At one point i was told to just leave if i wanted to and told by third party while i still had questions and hooked onto an IV. The nurse couldn’t even come to the room to tell me herself or explain what was taking so long. Then when confronted nicely! I really was too weak to be rude, her excuse was well she’s a travel nurse and doesn’t know anything there. Multiple times nurses were switched. I had to explain everything again and again and not once said bye or good luck. They just left and a new person would walk in. Maybe because i looked so young they had no respect or manners. I don’t know. It was an Absolutely terrible experience.

The visit itself was very smooth and very pleasant but a significant missed detail rendered the entire visit completely worthless. The experience of checking in and out was smooth, and luckily didn’t take too long. We were seen within an hour of getting to the ER as we went early in the afternoon. Patient came in due to increasingly distressing symptoms; she let the ER doc know she was a serious athlete (female competitive runner of many years) and gave detailed reports of all symptoms. The bloodwork run did not include Iron or ferritin which would have been a no-brainer for a female athlete. We didn’t realize the ER hadn’t run iron until we went to a hematologist who called it out. The missed detail caused several follow up specialist appointments which could have been easily avoided. This is the primary reason for the low rating. Patient was sent home with a referral stating that she should see a specialist within 3 days, but there was no priority or assistance in getting to see a specialist as there were no appointments available for months and months. It would be helpful if the referral was written so that it can apply to a wider group of specialists since appointments were so limited. Overall, the staff was friendly and pleasant and the process for the visit itself was smooth, but the blood work and referral process were each a disappointment and rendered the visit completely useless.

I feel at universal and hour my arm and shoulder very badly. The ambulance crew was amazingly nice. Every person I had contact with at the hospital were very kind. The X-ray technician was fantastic doing all he could to not cause me more pain than necessary. Give him a shout out. All seemed to want to ensure my comfort. Very efficient operation. Great place to get care but hope to never be there again of course. Only thing I would suggest is option for more pain meds. I got a3-day supply. It happened a week ago today and I’m down to one left. Still having lots of pain. I don’t get back home until Christmas Eve.

Mom and I both came to be examined by a doctor and they was able to put us in the same room. We didn’t have wait to be seen and was examined soon after we arrived. They made sure we had all the tests and they made sure it wasn’t anything other than arthritis. Very professional and caring hospital. I will always refer others to you guys

Good experience. My only request is to have the security guard direct people entering to the correct line so we don't waste time at the check-in desk, when we need to be on the triage line. That part was a little confusing, but certainly not a deal-breaker. I would return if necessary and recommend.

The doctor and nurses at this ER are amazing. They were so kind and caring towards my baby and made us feel comfortable. The wait time was also much much quicker than I anticipated.

Kind, caring and understanding staff. Vacationing in the area. Brought my 15 yr old daughter here in the middle of the night with sore throat, fever and difficulty breathing after first trying a closer ER. The other ER checked her oxygen levels and breathing and said she was fine and left us to wait in the waiting room even though she was having great difficulty catching her breath and she was visibly upset. We left and came to Orlando Health. They thoroughly assessed her right away, were kind and compassionate. Devyn was our triage nurse and she instantly made my daughter fee better and calmer. They ran multiple tests and explained why she was having trouble breathing. We didn’t wait long to see the PA (Zach) who was also very thorough and caring. Bottom line we felt very well cared for at a scary time.

Great experience with the hospital! Everyone in the ER was helpful and polite. Paul was great! All the Dr's took great care of me through my surgery and afterwards and helped ensure I got out on time to make my trip home! Dr. Gibbons was friendly and answered all my questions before and after surgery! My only complaint was the NG tube! But I realize it's not anyone's fault, it's a painful procedure. The nurses were great and helped me through the tube placement. Overall it was a great vacation 🤣

They work expeditiously (a word I’m rarely ever able to use) lol but with all seriousness they were very professional kind and courteous. The building was extremely clean. I thought I was going to be there for hours but they handled every thing pretty fast and thorough. I highly recommend them

Emmanuel that works behind the desk across from room #5 was extremely rude and interrupted me when I was speaking to a young lady that was trying to see what she can do about retrieving my husbands results for X-rays. My husband son and I (pregnant) have been waiting for 8hours.. to be attended to be given medication and ct scans etc. I was told that every time there’s a crisis? Our doctor or nurse drops us to go attend another patient. FOR 8HOURS?? We are still here. We are not happy. The service is terrible and two out of 6/7 people need to look for another job because apparently, their customer service is “Terrible”. Please be advised. First and last time we’re ever to come back and ID give this hospital a one star if you’d ask me.

I am a nurse from out of state and the care was acceptable. There could have been more communication throughout the visit to keep me informed of lab results and such, and there could have been better re-evaluation after meds were given, but overall it was an acceptable experience.

I wish I could give this hospital, a five stars because there was many employees that were absolutely wonderful five star in the way they conducted themselves. The nursing staff in particular is the reason why I would give zero stars. They’re unprofessionalism was legendary, across-the-board, smirking, making rude comments and mentioning private medical information of another patient. I came in after a serious car accident As the passenger and the triage nurse greeted me with the rudest, demeanor and cold Disposition. When I would push the button for assistance, the employee would answer with yes, in the most annoyed manner.

We had flown down from Indiana and my daughter ended up with severe ear trouble. We came to the ER to hopefully get her some help. While I don’t remember the name of the nurse who checked us in I do remember she was so sweet and amazing. Explaining everything to my daughter and talking to her. This nurse even went to school in Indiana so she was able to kinda talk to my daughter about that. The dr was good and thorough. Explaining things to me and giving advice help with how to help my daughter on our way home. The male nurse who gave my daughter medication was also amazing! He was able to get her to take both medications without much problem at all. (That is something BIG) this nurse made her feel as ease and even had a smile on her face when he was done. I can’t thank them enough for making me and my family feel taken care of when we were out of state.

Absolutely everyone I came into contact with was amazing. They were kind, caring and professional. I would like to especially highlight my nurse Keri Noonan, she was extraordinary and exemplifies what an exceptional nurse is. You are lucky to have her!

The staff, the doctor, and the environment of the hospital was totally beautiful. I appreciated the help that they have given me and I was very satisfied with their respect and the help that they have done for everything that I needed to have done for me. The only thing I didn't like was when the doctor referred me to see another doctor and it was unable to see him because they didn't accept my insurance so I couldn't do a follow-up as the doctor requested. All in all the staff and everything was awesome, excellent, and I will be there again when necessary. And if my friends need to go or family members, that's where I will send them. Blessings to everybody and thank you so much. Have a nice day.

terrible, I went to the emergency room with two problems and none were resolved, I have a cyst on my leg that the doctor neither did exams nor evaluated, my shoulder was just done an x-ray and needs an MRI that I did elsewhere and it showed a rupture… they said they would refer me to an orthopedist and they gave me nothing but pain medication… what kind of hospital is this? it took them from 10:40am to 2:40pm to do nothing but an x-ray. they didn't even give me pain medication there. I'm definitely going to sue this hospital…is that prejudice because I'm a foreigner?

Back sprain of some sort, thinking pinched nerve. Nursing staff discounts comments because I don’t have shooting pains down my leg(s). You can still have pinched nerve w only severe abdominal pain. Hurts w no resolution & back surgeons/neurologists are all backed up on my insurance plan. Shouldn’t have to wait 2 weeks for appropriate treatment.

The only thing they care about is how fast they can get you out. They don’t listen to concerns or problems. Sent me away with no solution and no better than when I got there. Just pushed medication and didn’t address the issue. No explanation given either. Very short and dismissive. Didn’t ask many questions to find out what the problems are. Completely unprofessional, negligent and incompetent at doing their job. Only 1 of the 5 people I saw actually seemed to remotely care. If you have to go to the hospital my suggestion is go ANYWHERE else.

I was recently at Orlando Health Emergency Room and ALL the staff was awesome! They are so nice. They actually listen to you. They genuinely care about you. They made sure I wasn’t in pain.I didn’t have to wait hours to have a test done. The staff was always checking on me and letting me know what was going on. You get really good care at Orlando Health!

I had food poison while on vacation. My husband took me to the emergency room. They seen me right away and immediately started taking care of me. I never felt like they were more concerned about what insurance I had versus getting me feeling better. They were so fast, compassion, and efficient. Dr. Rebecca S. Blue was absolutely wonderful. Thanks to everyone in the ED who helped care for me. My family and I were truly grateful.

The person named Nate that withdrew my blood on Friday early afternoon, 1/19/24, & the other members of the ER staff were some of the most compassionate, patient & kind medical personnel I have encountered in a long time. They treated me like a patient with empathy & a good bedside manner. They did everything possible to take care of me & send me home well taken care of. I am very grateful to Nate & the other nurses who came in to take great care of a sick mom & send her home better to her kiddos. Thank you so much!

Our experience at the ER with our baby was phenomenal. Amazing service, everyone was super experienced, nice and calming, given the circumstance. We recommend this hospital 100% and if we ever need an ER in Orlando again, we’ll come back.

I came in the day after a fall, they took me in promptly and X-ray my ribs, showing I had two fractured ribs. They were both efficient and pleasant. They sent me home with pain meds that I was able to purchase at the hospital. They made the whole visit a good experience.
