The restaurant is very small and only has 11-12 tables at the most, so going on weekends or holidays will not be a good idea, if you're looking to quickly get in and out. The restaurant has a very limited menu, and it serves both Mexican and American breakfast and lunch specialties. The staff is very friendly and they always kept our waters and coffee cups full. The food is good, but is also on the salty side. We ordered the chilaquiles rojos and verdes with scrambled eggs, on the chilaquiles Verdes, I added a side of meat. The piece of meat was mostly fat and grizzled, definitely not worth the price. Both of the chilaquiles rojos & verdes did not have enough sauce, they also didn't have any refried beans, sour cream, or cilantro, but they did have red onions and a very salty Mexican cheese sprinkled on them. The food plates are reasonably priced, but the sides are pricey and it can quickly become an expensive meal, just by adding a few sides. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu, but I'm going to make sure to let the know to take it easy on the salt. I'm also going to stick to the menu and not add any sides.

The space is small but the service is great. The wait staff is attentive and detail oriented. The food was great and there were large portions.

This place is an amazing breakfast spot! One of my favorite breakfast spots of all time. Everything is delicious here. Biscuits n gravy is great with what taste like homemade Biscuits. The cream of poblano soup is addicting with the perfect amount of spice, my favorite at lily's. Skillets and benedicts are so good too! I enjoyed the benedict because it had a lot of hollandaise sauce. A lot of places that I've been to before don't add enough sauce. This place adds the perfect amount. Tried the chipotle benedict too and that chipotle hollandaise sauce was to die for. Never had anything like it before. Savory and spicy! Another one of my favorites of all time anywhere. Great service as well Definitely will be back to try other menu items. 😋

I am such a fan of this Cafe!! Tucked away with Amazing food!!! I don't come to Lombard without stopping by. Its worth a drive from Indiana all alone!!! I'm never disappointed!!

Lily’s is amazing! You can’t beat the delicious food, personable service, and good prices. We are always trying new menu items and are never disappointed. It is very small - so I recommend take out!!

My husband and I came here for brunch and enjoyed it! They serve delicious FRESH berries, which is hard to find. The service was efficient. Our hostess, Michelle and the entire staff were very sweet. The good: cute, niche cafe with great service and decent food. The bad: the restaurant is very dated, it's pretty loud due to the small space and no noise damper decor. The worst part of our experience is the note on the front of the menus to declare the prices might be higher due to inflation. Our meal was around 25% higher than the marked prices in the menu. It's time to update the menu and provide transparency on pricing. For this reason I likely won't return.

Food was amazing! My main issue is with the sausages. $5+ for only two burnt and hard sausages! I normally do not mind paying high prices, but only when the food is at least edible. Disappointing since the French toast meals were amazing! :(

Stopped by without really checking the reviews as I was passing by on my way to an appointment. I’m glad I stopped the service and food just amazing. I had the Mexican skillet. The small cherry tomatoes and the fresh avocado on the top tied the whole meal together

If you want an affordable, delish restaurant this is the place to go. Our server Michelle was exceptional. Food came out quick and hot. Perfectly portioned, no leftovers!

Phenomenal food, great service, and everything was SUPER fresh! I had the Stuffed French Toast and it was unbelievably good. She had poached eggs, Sourdough toast, and bacon. Eggs were PERFECTLY cooked. Didn’t mind a 15 min. wait in our car because they called us and could watch dogs going in and out of the groomers a few doors down!

The food was phenomenal, as well the service which was a plus! Would highly recommend for a nice, simple, yet lovely breakfast place!

Hidden Gem! Loved the service, friendly, welcoming, clean. The food was amazingly delicious, I had the special Mexi-Benedict. I am very picky when it comes to Poached eggs and the last place I had a perfect poached egg was in Colorado, finally found a place where the poached egg is same if not better tasting then Colorado 😁. Loved this place! 😊🙌🏽 Wow! Highly recommend 😁 Came back the next day, just in case! 😀 This is definitely my go to place for the best Eggs Benedict. The food was very good 👍🏼 again😁!

Simple, small place for delicious brunch. Stuffed French toast, two eggs corn beef hash, and one Denver omelette are all very good. Hash brown is little oily. Coffee little expensive. All staff were very friendly.

We walked in not expecting much but the place is a solid spot. It's a small ma and pa family dinner which will impress you. We ended up getting the veggie egg benedict and the stuffed berries french toast at the waiters request. The egg benedicts were yummy and the hollandaise sauce had a nice tang to it. With a side of avacodos the benedicts were a hit! Although, the real show stealer was the stuffed french toast. Glad the waitress recommended these. I had to share with a friend since the protions were huge. It was like a soft pound cake with cream cheese filled inside and topped with berries. Just scrumptious!

Food was ordinary, but I was expecting something more based on the raving reviews. I had the standard Eggs Benedict w/ hashbrowns well done. Restaurant was clean and friendly, the dish I had just needed a bit more oomph! I suggest getting thicker Canadian Bacon (it was completely lost in the sauce), add some green onion to the hashbrowns and a tad more seasoning over all. It's not a bad spot for quick budget friendly breakfast.

A decent mom and pop type of a place. Pretty small so be careful if you're planning to have a group of 10 or more. I would not recommend it. I found the food to be decent quality but nothing amazing. Fwiw, I had the veggie skillet, corned beef hash, rye bread and pancake. Seems like a family-owned business so a mom and pop type of feel and service. Good people. One small thing to watch out for... The sign on top of this restaurant just says "Eat". That's it. Not Lily's breakfast or anything like that...

It is one of the best breakfast places I have ever been. Food is phenomenal, stuff is amazing. I will bring my family on Sunday to enjoy our breakfast. I am sure they are going to live it. Highly recommended!!! Thank me later.. 👏🏻😊

Delicious Mexican omelette with a side of fruit and sourdough toast. Fast service and clean tables and bathroom. Super kind employees, too! My daughters also loved their waffle and pancakes with chocolate chips on top. It’s a small place, so you may have to wait for a table, but it’s worth it.

Mexican skillet packed with chorizo and the avacado is fresh. Absolutely delicious this place don’t play with food. Stopped in last week for lunch as well, burgers are the real deal. Thick bacon and excellent cheese, I love this place!
