This was our first visit and we came to celebrate my birthday. I looked through Google reviews to find somewhere with good frog legs and I was not disappointed. My daughter and I ordered frog legs, my son got a stromboli, my mom ordered pork chops, and my boyfriend ordered a burger. Everything was cooked well, it tasted great, and the portions were good. I had a buy one get one free entree coupon that I assumed would discount the price of the cheapest meal, but it actually discounted one of the frog legs dinners which were the most expensive. That was a pleasant surprise. Each of the adults also ordered a cocktail. My mom ordered a bloody Mary without spice and got a bloody Mary that was too spicy she had to ask for some extra tomato juice because it was too spicy. My boyfriend ordered a cherry sour which was delicious and I had a hurricane which was also delicious. My only complaint is that the drink prices were a little high for the size of the drinks in my opinion. Otherwise it was a great experience, good atmosphere, and a wonderful attentive waitress who even noticed that we had a cake and brought out desert plates and spoons without us asking. I definitely see a return trip in our future.

Food was great service as well we ordered a couple of drinks. My gf has the hurricane and was amazed at the taste it didn't taste like alcohol at all more of juice but I'm a good way. I had the cherry old fashioned and of man i will order that everytime we go. If you sign up for their rewards you get a BOGO coupon on meal, birthday bonus and free app coupon. The servers were great, food came out fast and tasted amazing. We will definitely go back. We went there for my gf birthday and her mom brought a small cake and the server brought out plays and sounds without us when asking so they are paying attention to their customers. Absolutely excellent There was the dome outside you can sit in but you have to have a minimum of 10 ppl or your bill had to equal $150 if you don't have 10 people or your bill doesn't reach $150. They will automatically charge you$150. So not worth it to sit there unless you have a larger party

Cool place, great prices! It was $11.99 for a 12oz NY Strip with a salad and a baked potato for their Monday Special. I was just passing through town but if I lived closer I would probably come here all the time. The bartender was also very nice and had a great personality.

The food was amazing. The pot roast bowl was delicious. The Steak Bites, Cod and Seafood Alfredo were also delicious. The only weird thing was we had 3 different waitresses. Kind of confusing.

First time in the place, it has a nice atmosphere and amazing food. Frog legs and seafood platter.

It's oct 6th, nice weather sat on patio beautiful, the waitress was amazing, I had ribeye and my husband had au gratin cod both of us enjoyed our meals, steak was perfect im a MR but ordered M and perfect highly recommend plus we used VIP coupon very happy

First time coming here and we were impressed! Nice location, clean facilities, great views! Great service, phenomenal food, and we didn't have a long wait on our food. We ordered the appetizer platter and our meals, and took so much food home! Delicious!

I bet the people who live there, since this is their only option, love this place, but very underwhelming. It's hard to get mad at the wait staff, because they're not around, and the locals who are there make neighboring towns like Clarkston or Oxford or Grand Blanc seem like major metropolitan cities. This whole town seems to be just a food wasteland, but when you have cater to people who just want to pour ranch dressing on everything, it's hard to do anything that's not middle of the road.

I had the steak tips potato soup and fries. All were served fresh and hot. Our server long red hair, was prompt and got the order accurately. Silverware was clean. Only negative for me was the music was too loud.

Good to average. The staff are friendly, patient, and welcoming. Food is average in taste and GOOD in size. Alcohol selection is good. Nice people (customers) and atmosphere.

Would 100% come here again. Wish I lived closer to this. But great place for food.

We are somewhat new to the area only being here for three years and with Covid and all, hadn't really had the chance to try out all of the local bars and restaurants. Since I recently retired, we now have much more time on our hands and decided to try a new place every week, but with one caveat, we would only order burgers and beer so we could make the proverbial "apple's-to-apple's" comparison. Now, in no way am I saying that all of the other places in the Ortonville area are bad or have bad food or service, as this just is not the case. But the one thing I did notice is that when I paid my two person bill, all were right at or just a tad over the $40 mark with tip. So at this point it becomes not so much a price point decision, but more of what you get for your money. Bullfrog's has a much nicer atmosphere than any of the other local pubs or burger bars hands down. It is exceptionally clean and has a good sized, friendly waitstaff. There is also plenty of parking. There is outdoor dining for those that wish to sit out on the huge covered deck that overlooks Lake Louis, rain or shine. The burgers are without a doubt some of the best we've had in quite a while, and the fries are absolutely fantastic! To say you get a LOT for your money is an understatement. These burgers are huge! As a side note, we just happened to stop in on a Tuesday and were informed by our waiter that on every Tuesday, they have a half off special which includes one burger, one fry, and one beer for about $8.00, so now we make it a point to hit up Bullfrog's on Tuesdays. I believe we found our new favorite hangout!

Food has always been pretty good. I ordered the taco salad and it was not good. I like a salad with a little crunch. The lettuce was a wilty mess.I think it was made well in advance. For the price..I would definitely pass on it.

Love the outdoor patio and bar. Service was good, Lela took really good care of us. Food was okay. Stop there frequently when riding.

Sucks...Ordered ribeye as the 'special' ... got served bottom grade NY strip . The 'owner' insisted it was ribeye and fought customers. Clearly not someone who knows what food is. This place and it's current owner has earned my first ever review. I love the location but cant wait for the current owner / chef etc to be gone. This was not even close to acceptable.
