“Complete
ripoff
/
fraud,
filing
complaint
with
health
insurance
company
and
Florida
Medical
Board.
Had
shoulder
surgery
just
over
two
weeks
ago.
After
having
trouble
finding
a
physical
therapist
I
found
Action
Physical
Therapy.
First
appointment,
was
asked
what
injury
I
had
then
briefly
took
arm
out
of
sling
for
2-3
minutes
of
stretching
then
did
pendulum
by
myself.
Left
with
under
10
minutes
of
assistance.
Physical
Therapist
had
a
number
of
other
patients
around.
I
figured
it
was
normal,
so
close
to
surgery.
Second
appointment,
I
counted
5
other
people
being
seen
by
physical
therapist
during
a
single
session
block.
Over
the
course
of
30
minutes
total,
I
had
about
5
minutes
of
attention
with
quick
stretches
then
was
sent
on
my
way.
This
time
I
was
getting
upset
but
figured
it
was
an
odd
night.
Scheduled
next
appointment
a
full
week
out
to
continue
work
at
home
and
come
back
when
I
was
ready
for
more
help.
Had
a
follow
up
with
my
surgeon
and
surgical
assistant
then
told
them
about
physical
therapy.
They
said
the
recovery
early
stages
were
super
important
with
physical
therapy.
They
were
shocked
and
urged
me
to
go
elsewhere.
Reached
out
to
my
friends
and
family
including
multiple
people
that
are
professionals
in
the
medical
field
who
all
agreed
it
was
crazy
that's
how
long
I
was
treated
without
any
direction.
Figured
it
must
have
just
been
odd
timing
and
I'd
try
one
more
time.
Third
appointment,
shared
10
minutes
between
myself
and
another
patient
where
I
had
about
5-7
minutes
of
stretching
and
that
was
it.
I
was
in
shock.
I
called
the
office
upon
returning
home
and
spoke
to
the
owner
who
refused
to
return
the
session's
payment
and
told
me
to
dispute
the
charge
with
my
health
insurance
company.
I've
attended
sports
physical
therapy
for
5
separate
injuries
in
my
life
including
once
for
a
worse
injury
to
the
opposite
shoulder
that
had
more
invasive
surgery.
Each
time
I
was
seen
one
on
one
for
45-60
minutes
including
more
stretching,
exercise,
progress
sheets
and
at
home
instructions.
This
clinic
charged
me
$300,
after
insurance,
for
3
sessions
totalling
less
than
30
minutes
of
actual
therapy.
This
place
needs
to
be
investigated
immediately.”
