No! no! no! That's all I ever hear. "We got no chicken you gotta wait 14 minutes, we got no butter, we got no black pepper, we got no Mac and cheese, We got no Dr Pepper" Long waits, broken drive thru speakers, unusable bathrooms "we lost the men's room key, use the woman's room" In over a decade of coming here, (cause they the only Church's in the area) it's ALWAYS been long wait times and missing items. But I will say this, once I do get the food that it was available, and wait the excessive time it takes to get my order, it's typically good. Today's order was hot, juicy and tasty! The EXPERIENCE is what makes me come less often. I have to be in the mood to wait long, and be flexible w my order, or willing to leave if they don't have what I want or have a long wait for cooking the chicken. TODAY, although there was NO butter for the corn, NO black pepper, NO Mac and cheese, NO ranch dressing and I waited over 5 min for the agent to refill my drink (because of the covid the drinks are behind the counter now) NO men's bathroom key, I had a tasty meal and I was entertained by watching all the other dine in and take out customers have to adjust they orders due to missing items. 😉 🙄 This place has so much potential and even before the virus and the fact that they're under staff there was always habitual problems. A new owner or manager Could make this place possibly top notch

When you hear the term fast food, you never think about waiting 45 minutes in the drive through for some barely seasoned chicken. This place is a shell of what it used to be. The talent working the registers look like they're still in highschool, the manager looks like she would rather be somewhere else and it shows. She also drinks from the fountain while in front of customers. After waiting about 30 minutes for my order to be taken I was told to drive around and place my order which I also had to wait an additional10 minutes for them to make. Mind you, there's no menu on that side of the building. So how can I order if I don't see a menu? Oh, I get it. Since I waited in line for so long, I should already know what I want to order. I hope church's corporate sees this. Either shape this place up and hire some people that want to work or just do us all a favor and shut down. Customers deserve better service then this!

I don't don't normally eat cole slaw but I had a taste for it and this is what I get. And staff had was not so greet for that matter. And my food was old looking and tasting.

Hi my name is Demetrius burrows and I was there Sunday I can't remember the young ladies names because I lost the piece of paper I told them to put their names on the paper because I wanted to acknowledge them for a great job that they did while I was sitting there waiting for my apple pies to cook I looked around and the place was very clean and most of all I was pleased with the customer service I received everybody was so nice and pleasant if this could help it was around 3:00 when I was there the cook was cooking and had the counter stopped up with chicken and her main concern was how her chicken looked and I thought that was everything she was more concerned about the presentation of her food and the two cashiers and the manager was very pleasant I let them all know I would love to work with those kind of women if I was able to work but unfortunately I'm now disabled but I just wanted to let you know you girls did a great job and keep up the great work God bless and I say this because I too have over 15 years of working in restaurant and I know customer service is number one priority thank you hope to see you again and also let me know the SmokeHouse was very good she also recommended me to try it so I bought it and it was very good thank you God bless

This establishment suck!!! They’re not able to supply customers with their demands! Don’t understand the business concept!! I wanted to sample the chicken tonight. They talking foolishness , “ I must wait for 30minutes for dark chicken. Guess what they serve the customer in front of the white chicken (substitute) for the dark. I wasn’t waiting !!!

So ghetto it's a shame! They hire all walks of life apparently I had the misfortune of recently visiting the store with my husband and my friend girl to hear the most unprofessional conversation especially when the cook kept mentioning throwing hot chicken grease at my husband and I had to let it be known NOBODY is going to do NOTHING to my husband and to keep capping off at the mouths I listened to it all. One lady there I was associated with in my first marriage "Chantel" was a street woman when I knew her and she was never no friend of mine!! I can clearly see Church's Chicken will hire anyone with a pulse!!

So I get there at 912pm mind you they don’t close until 10pm and I get to the window and they where saying they are closed because they ran out of chicken and the rest was frozen. I have worked in the food industry before and managed a few restaurants before and not once does it say close because we ran out of chicken what they need is better management and make sure you can keep the restaurant open until it is suppose to close not try and do the bare Minimum. When it says closes at 10pm then that’s what needs to happen open until 10 . If i could give it negative stars then I would . Unbelievable

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a churches. They claimed that they didn't sell spicy tenders even though it's on the menu. The store was dirty. The kitchen was dirty. The cashier didn't seem to know what she was doing. The drive-thru guy argued with a customer on whether or not they got sauce and then attempted to go outside to yell at the customer about said sauce. The next person in the drive-thru got an argument with the same person because they couldn't keep track of which orders they had put out and we're giving the wrong orders to the wrong car. When someone brought a chicken sandwich in that wasn't theirs, the drive-thru worker turned around and gave it to another person. The chicken was cooked for too long or the oil is old. Cashier started arguing with the front line worker about who was going to take orders or make food. They have obviously never heard the phrase, "The customer is always right" because there, the customer is definitely wrong. The cashier was friendly but that's about it. We waited 30 minutes. Being inside was like a comedy show watching the things going on. They need to close the store and retrain everyone.

I was at the Church's Chicken 2401 West Sunrise Boulevard the food the service was horrible waiting and drive through for almost 25 minutes before my order was placed the cashier Suprina C was so rude this was Sunday 6/25/2023. I love Church's Chicken but will never go here again. I also tried to call the complaint number but I was unable to get the chance to talk to someone, stayed on hold for so long until I got tired 😫 😩 and hung up the phone. Also the Chicken ended up in the garbage and the Cole slaw was dry and tasted old. I wasted money on garbage 🗑 😒

Very first time here and this location is horribly understaffed so the wait was looong. The staff for the drive-thru let the customers know they were out of biscuits but in my 30 minute wait to order inside, I witnessed 4 people come in and throw such childish fits for these biscuits that come with their meals, mind you, that they wanted their money back for a free biscuit that they were informed in the very beginning that the restaurant was out. I unfortunately didn't get a biscuit so they must be godly with the way these people wanted them. So if you want drama and good food come on down cuz this place has got both.

My apologies, but this restaurant is ghetto. There are a lot of loud conversations among the employees. There is a lot of food scattered around their serving area in the kitchen, which looks disgusting. It's ridiculously small with a small drive thru. I guess some people don't mind. There were open positions to work there - I'm sure felons would find this a great opportunity.

The food was good, but service was slow because one cashier handled front and drive thru and bagged the orders herself. Three employees in the back but they didn't assist her.

Came to this churches because we don't have one in Hawaii anymore. Was ready for those good ole okra. Looked at reviews before coming in. The reviews weren't great, but I still wanted my chicken. Just to say this, always check your bag before you leave the window, because they left two main ITEMS out of my bag before I took off the biscuits and my OKRA😔😔😔😔😔 MAHALO hope they taste good

I love church's the only one here in fort Lauderdale and I'm like that's enough disrespect I mean yes the building needs to be renovated but come on guys the workers are very nice and they will make sure your food will be like you want it hey we all have bills to pay its not the workers fault its the company responsibility to fix up the place

The food is good, but the service is very bad. Everyone, the cashier at the window and the front counter along with the person preparing the food have nasty attitudes. My meal was missing a jalapeno pepper and after going inside to tell them it seemed as if I lied about the darn pepper. The guy preparing the food said, “Look in your bag it's wrapped up” told him No it's not there and I'll look again.”Went back to look to ensure I was not crazy and well it still wasn't there. Went back inside and the first thing the girl at the window said was, “She said it's not in the bag with an attitude” They looked at each other like she lying, and he gave me the jalapeno pepper. Yeah, it's just a jalapeno pepper for a few cents but all around they are nasty and so is their service. Just imagine they messed up someone’s meal and how they’ll act. Provide better service and work as if you want to be there or find another establishment to work at it's that simple. Not everyone belongs in customer service. This will be my only reason not to eat here again. Find somebody else to do it.

Only here for some okra and fries. I had to wait but I was happy! My fries and okra were fresh and hot. While sitting in the drive thru, looking at the back of the building, it's disgusting. Church's owner, you have to fix this mess!

I used to eat this back in the days before the name change, and I can honestly say it tasted better back then. I’m not sure how they can change it to Texas chicken in and say it has bold flavor when the chicken literally tastes like nothing. It literally tasted like unseasoned chicken battered in unseasoned flour literally no taste AT ALL so I’m not sure what part of that flavor is bold because there’s nothing bold about it. I remember it tasting good back in the days so I got a three piece meal and I was so disappointed. I’m literally going to try and get a refund from DoorDash. PUT SOME SEASONING IN THAT BATTER 🙄🙄🙄

I ordered the 3pc special. Chicken was hot, fresh. Biscuits were soft. The team lead on shift is very customer friendly. The only thing he needs to improve is cleaning the lobby

I didn’t complain because their attitude said, they will spit in my food. Six times, let me know management doesn’t care, so I have to inform the consumer!! McDonald’s is across the street.

The young man that started to serve us was nice, but a slim, short woman kinda pushed him to the side to continue our order. I don't know if she was the manager or not. She is rude, and her attitude is STINK!!! The chicken was old and didn't taste good, but unfortunately, we were already at our hotel to even take that back. As a visitor and first time customer, I will never eat from there again.

The wait was okay except I had to pullover for a fresh made to order chicken sandwich, pulling over wasn’t bad just wish they would have given me some napkins.

The place was old and filthy..both bathrooms had out of order signs on the door.. another customer said they are always out of order.. the grounds around the facility were dirty and full of garbage. Not sure why I even walked in the place after looking at the grungy door. The chicken was dry and obviously sitting under the heat lamp for a long time.. the screaming from the lady working in kitchen at that help was crazy. Run past this place…don’t go near it, who knows what the bugs are crawling on at night. One bite of the food and we decided it was best to throw it out.

I wish zero was an option. This Church’s needs to close. They are supposed to be open until 10 pm but close the dining area whenever they feel like it saying “we cleaned it.” Always out of food. I also told them they left out my biscuits the last time I was here and she wouldn’t give them to me. She said I should have called. We did. They chose to close early that day too. The Mgr and staff are awful.

I mean, I guess if you just need some churches chicken, but for me, the 30 to 45 min wait and fight to get BBQ sauce wasn't really worth it. But it is churches, and they are few and far in between. Just know if you go late in the day you will be waiting.

The second time we’ve gotten food from Church’s, and didn’t get all my food. We ordered the family meal with okra, and we didn’t get my okra.The service was great, but I would like to get what I paid for. Most likely will not go back again.

I was actually shocked that they finally know how to say hello and be nice in the drive thru. I couldn't believe it. My food was fresh and hot, even the honey biscuits had honey on them and I even got napkins this time without having to ask for them! Wow new management you are doing great! Keep it up!

After waiting nearly 15 minutes in the slowest drive thru in south Florida (others drove off after ordering because it was so long), we get to the window where they said they didn't even take our order down, and they are out of tenders and the side we wanted. Basically out of the whole meal. I had a meeting to get to and needed something quick. Thanks for wasting my time, I will never be back. Also it's gross to allow your drive thru employee to open mouth chew gum over all the condiments and drinks. disgusting. This place desperately needs new management.

Horrible service the didn't know what she was doing at the window .we asked her what is the price of just tenders she stated she doesn't know , she don'have the menu in front of her WHAT ? Then she tells us pull up the window just to tell ur whole order was deleted and she has to talk out order again . I have not had Churches in over 5-7 years. Car line was long no worries one of the workers told us that we will be in the line waiting forever and we should go inside. So we went inside to order. Ordered 2 10 piece special for $20 (for different households) service was quick I wouldn’t say 100% the friendliest. We got our food and left. Upon getting home and dishing out my box of chicken to the family I noticed eating my chicken (thighs in particular) that they were not completely done. You can still see pink and one area a little red. Was very much disappointed because I fed my daughter chicken as well not knowing until I started to eat that the chicken was not cooked all the way. I understand they are trying to get the customers in and out and move the line, but making sure you cook the chicken fully will make a huge difference. Sorry I didn’t take any pics. Threw away chicken before I saw this review option pop up.

Don't get me wrong the food was delicious but the store appearance was horrible! The uniforms that the staff was wearing were dirty including the cooks in the back and and the cashiers. The store was dirty the counter will order our food at was cluttered. Besides that the food was awesome!

Rude!!!!! We came up around 10 am Saturday January 8th the lady was being rude to my daughter. Saying don't open the door. We thought at first she was a customer and maybe they were only allowing one person in at a time. So then I go to open then she says very loudly we aren't open. I asked her what time do they open. I also said to her not to yell at my daughter. Her rude boss came over I told him my peace also Then he tried to ask us to leave. I told him we don't have to eat here, because it's not all that good. Then we were going to McDonald’s in the first place. Wish I had threw my drink in his face or on the window. Very stupid ppl. I don't ever go here in the first place so I'm not offended. Slow service. Burnt, tasteless chicken with bacon sandwiches. Had to wait 30 minutes in line to order then another 20 minutes at the window. Mid afternoon there was a homeless person sleeping right on the sidewalk. This location is horrible. The workers are rude. I went back at 8 that night and they were closed.

That store is never on point . They never seem to have anything. And the worker's always have a ghetto attitude don't seem to care much about the customer's. They never had my main thing that I went there for Spicy Chicken 🐔 . It's 1 of the worst Church's chicken ever. I hope the corporate office can do something to make it better.
