The
Northridge
Shopping
Center
on
the
northwest
corner
of
East
Commercial
Boulevard
and
North
Dixie
Highway.
It
was
built
in
1973
making
it
50
years
old
this
year.
The
shopping
center
sees
a
lot
of
traffic
from
Oakland
Park
and
the
surrounding
towns
of
Pompano
Beach
and
Wilton
Manors.
It
is
also
close
to
I-95.
This
shopping
complex
is
massive
with
38
businesses.
The
plaza
is
anchored
by
a
Publix
and
I
find
it
very
strange
that
there
is
another
Publix
right
across
the
street
although
this
one
was
here
first
and
the
one
across
the
street
has
a
Starbucks
inside.
I
have
shopped
at
so
many
of
the
businesses
in
this
plaza.
I
can
pretty
complete
any
errand
here.
Businesses
I
patronize
include
the
Dollar
Tree,
Ross
Dress
for
Less,
Petco,
PNC,
Tijuana
Flats,
Dunkin's
Donuts,
Five
Below,
Party
City,
and
Uptown
Cheapskate.
There
is
also
a
Quest
Diagnostic,
Dentistry,
uBreakfix,
Smoothie
King,
H&R
Block,
USA
Nails
Spa,
and
Youfit
Health
Club
to
name
just
a
few
of
the
other
businesses.
The
parking
can
be
a
bit
of
cluster
especially
by
the
Publix.
The
wide
range
of
businesses
make
up
for
it
though.
Unlike
a
lot
of
shopping
plazas
in
the
area,
they
rarely
have
an
open
space.
From
places
to
eat,
shop,
and
have
services
done,
you
can't
beat
the
Northridge
Shopping
Center.
