This review is to respond to Christie Nwaukoni. I have been a Tequila customer since they opened. The service and food has always been exemplary. I hope you realize servers livelihoods depend on tips. If you cannot afford to tip on your bill just stay home. Cody always gives great service. No rotten tomatoes here 🍅

Great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. The Vegetarian Chimichanga was fantastic. Kids enjoyed the veggie quesadilla. Wife likes the vegan enchiladas but they charge extra if you want cheese. Nachos and chips was generous with the meal. Service was just okay.

Had a nice dinner at Tequila Sunrise Mexican Grill. They offer chips and salsa on the table. Chips were fresh and one salsa was mild and one was spicy. My enchanladas were well spiced and authentic. They had daily specials and good prices. I did not partake, but they also had giant fishbowl margaritas. The restaurant was clean and also offered outside seating. The servers were fast, friendly and attentive. Will return in the future :)

Post Covid has caused many challenges to the hospitality industry, bad service shouldn’t be one of them. The food is decent, but the service is so slow, servers are rude and trying to get a beer is a challenge all it’s own. When we arrived the hostess looked straight at, then proceeded to look at a tablet for several minutes, asked who we were with, as soon as we said we were waiting to be seated, she rolled her eyes and said “where?” We sat outside and had to go to the bar to get our own drinks, which, again, took forever. Might be time to stay home until this bad service thing passes. The taco salad was all meat, little lettuce and not good.

Went there tonight and order food to go. Everyone was nice but also seemingly distracted even though it wasn’t overly crowded. My partner and I set At the bar and ordered our food to go. The waiter handed us a bag said here’s your food and we left……it was not until we got back to Miami(45min at least) that we realized that we did not in fact have the right order. Seeing as we ordered at the bar and it was not crowded, we didn’t think to double check the items. However, because of dietary restrictions, the food was not edible. And to be clear neither item was correct and it should be noted that neither bar tended we spoke to wrote down our order. To make it better the food was paid for in cash. So without driving back 45 min or trusting them to make it right at another time there isn’t a lot that can be done. This is disappointing and incredible frustrating. I’m starting to see why such a place is slow on a Saturday night. Don’t waste your time.

Happened to stop by for lunch while in the area. Seated no problem, and when I asked for a recommendation I was given a few good options. Enchiladas were good (not world changing, but still good). If you’re in the area, I’d stop by and give their food a try. Portion sizes are solid. Drinks were good (little strong - but nothing wrong with that)!

2 stars is only because it smelled pretty good. My girlfriend and I walked in, the young lady at the door was not welcoming at all. the young man who sat us dropped off some menus and never came back. it has been 25 minutes now and nobody has checked up on us. I just walked to the front and complained, nobody seems to care or acknowledged the fact that that we’ve been here so long. I asked the young lady if they were on yelp, and she said yes with such sarcasm and confidence. what a complete waste of my 25 minutes, I could have been somewhere else.

Favorite family restaurant in Broward county. BEST Mexican food in town, fantastic atmosphere and friendly service. Family owned business that treats everyone like family! Chiller Chris Cody Aldo and the entire staff always do a great job, my family has been going here for over a decade. Have pretty much tried everything on the menu, always delicious every time. Take the wife on a date, your kids, the entire family, have a party there, happy hour, margarita night, taco Tuesday, whatever the occasion. Highly recommended!

It’s starts from the parking lot , it’s not maintained (weeds growing everywhere). Outdoor seating disorganized and dirty. This Mexican style restaurant absolutely does not come close to their competitors in the area. We were referred by someone that loves this place, but we should have not listened to their recommendations since all they raved avez about was the 3.99$ wine / beer. Maybe that is what they are drawn to. The server did not wipe down our dirty table, did not offer any water. Chips were stale and we received our meals ( definitely microwaved( before our cocktails. Enchiladas, rice and beans were soggy. The prices are the same as the higher end Mexican restaurants How this place gets high ratings , don’t get it ???? NEVER AGAIN !!!

The food was very filling and reasonable priced. Lots of options and there are specials everyday of the week. Everyone was also very professional and friendly on Sunday night. Love that they give out chips and salsa to most people would charge for this. There is both inside and outside seating, location has been around forever.

My family of 5 and 2 grandparents are here tonight. Travelling with a family or group that size is never easy, and is made more difficult with smaller children. But this place made it easy. They were quick with menus, and brought complimentary chips and salsa to the table - which kept my young ones entertained long enough for me to enjoy one of their house Margheritas (great!). They also brought over cups with water, which my 5 year old immediately knocked over. Our server was amazing, told us not to worry and had it cleaned up within minutes. They then took our order, offered us suggestions, were accommodating when my son wanted an extra taco and my mother in law wanted a freshly made veggie burrito. The food was fast, tasty, fresh and the entire experience positive. It's clear this place does it well, as many know it well. It was busy on arrival (happy hour) so I'm glad we made a reservation, and as we left it was getting busier so clearly it's not only happy hour bringing people in. A special acknowledgement to our server who clearly understood what it means to be a parent taking kids out for dinner, as he went above and beyond. Would gladly return next time we are in FL!

Well, this didn't go well. Nothing was as good as described. If the chips and salsa are mediocre, the food usually is too. The margarita and daiquiri were not to our liking. Bitter is the best word. The guacamole was bland. Seemed to only be Avocado and onion. Our main dishes were not worth commenting.

A great place to have some tacos and a margarita with friends and family. The restaurant itself gives off a vibe worthy of the name tequila sunrise. The food and the service have always left me pleased. Whenever my wife and I want to go eat at a Mexican restaurant this is our go to. No where else really can compete in our opinion.

Taco Tuesdays go crazy. Best deal in broward county. They give you four massive tacos starting out for all you can eat (10.99), but I couldn’t eat another platter, so just got one. One of our go to places in the area. Delicious and cheap drinks. A great menu that doesn’t break the bank. Excellent service and impeccable vibes

I really like this place or I might have given them less than 3 stars for service. I did a party here and although the function was wonderful, the food was amazing, I really feel the person working with me to plan dropped the ball. They never called me to confirm the party or the amount of people. I tried to call to talk to Chris a couple times and was told that he was not available. I was booking the party for 25 people. They put me down for 40. Then my daughter got there early to decorate, they didn't even have it written down that it was going to be a buffet, which I had talked to Chris about IN PERSON. I told the girl that I talked to on the phone 25 people (But clearly she missed that) I called afterwards and talked to Cody, the manager, who was gonna talk to Chris and the owner. I didn't hear back from either one of them. I really, really like this business but I am upset at how they handled the situation. So just a WARNING if you're going to do a function, Make sure that whatever you're telling them they are actually listening!!!!!!! Sorry Shiller but the customer service was off this time.

Daily drink specials. Great fish bowl margaritas. Food is always tasty & staff are friendly. Taco Tuesday special is an amazing deal for tight budgets.

Had a nice dinner at this place. Went her accidentally just heading to my Airbnb. But the food was great and the staff were very courteous as they were about to close for the night and still happily took my order.

We use to love this place, but it has seriously gone way down hill. The food is mediocre at best. The service is non existent. We asked for waters five time last night, and still never got them. Servers are not engaged with patrons. We have had this experience previously, but thought we would give them another chance. We won't be back..

Best hard tacos i ever had. Deals are really good. Happy hour margarita came in a big tall glass. Tasted like lemonade. If you really want to drink just buy shots. Blonde waitress was curt and did not check on us. Didnt even bring us our check. The man who served our tacos did. He should've gotten her tip. Ask him to serve you, he is very kind.

First I was greeted with a smile I was able to sit anywhere that I chose. The staff is very friendly and worked collaboratively as a team to ensure that I got my food on time and it was delivered hot. The black bean soup was absolutely delicious. Also the Fajita with chicken and shrimp was absolutely superb. If you want authenticity and if you want flavor tequila sunrise is definitely the place to check out. Also you want to take advantage of their half our fishbowl deals that they have on Fridays I’ve only had one and I am so lit right now. It’s amazing. Simply amazing.

Those were some of the best tacos we have had. My boyfriend and I went there for tach Tuesday this week and you certainly get the bang for your buck and the service was awesome. We will certainly go back

Tacos were large and meaty! We had the TT deal so only chicken and beef, but 4 was plenty. My personal favorite was crunchy chicken. Modelo draft was $6, so not bad.

Outstanding authentic food and a great atmosphere. The climate-controlled patio is my favorite place to have dinner or lunch, but the bar area is really nice too for something more casual. Highly recommend.

2 of us came in and told the waitress we had a coupon where you can get a $12 discount if you order 2 meals over $12. Our orders were $20 and $21. I put the coupon on the corner for the waitress to use before the bill came. Needless to say we didn't get any discount. The bill was a bit over $40 so we thought the tip was included. The waitress said the bill did not include the tip so I gave her an extra $10 tip. We were mad after we left realizing we got no discount. We felt ripped off. Not going back.

I had dinner yesterday with friends and the margarita were humongous and the food is delicious , the pizza is good and shrimp Blanco is great.

This is one of my favorite places to go. They have the best food and their fishbowl Margaritas are amazing.

Please stay away for the $8.99 taco Tuesday. The chicken they use for the tacos are shredded and taste like chicken soup. The service was ok a little slow. Margaritas we’re not the best. The mango mango margarita had a bitter taste.

Waitresses were excellent. Answered every question. Fast and excellent service. Added bonus great food.
