If
you
love
freshwater
fish,
invertebrates,
and
plants,
this
is
the
place
to
be!
Salt
water
species
abound
there,
though
my
cat
and
I
enjoy
the
reverse
osmosis
freshwater.
It
definitely
tastes
better
than
the
yellow
tap-water.
The
staff
are
extremely
knowledgeable
in
all
aspects
of
this
hobby.
Beginners
are
very
welcome
and
won’t
be
left
to
flounder,
and
experts
won’t
get
nagged
when
they
hit
a
snag,
because
let’s
face
it,
nothing
lasts
forever
and
nuked
tanks
happen;
just
keep
your
head
held
high
and
blame
and
frame
a
wet
gremlin
-
it’s
always
the
gremlins
playing
water-polo.
Go
to
the
Aquarium
Kingdom
lll
if
you
want
to
build
a
happy
underwater
home
for
your
future
pets.
Seriously,,
get
schooled
by
the
friendly
fish
nerds
that
geek
out
over
gills!
Create
a
community
aquarium
or
tinker
with
the
more
competitive
and
aggressive
species
only
tanks.
Listen
to
advice
on
which
pets
will
click
and
which
ones
won’t
(pets
eating
pets
quickly
gets
expensive
and
depressing).
Your
new
friend
may
need
a
lid
because
fish
think
jumping
is
fun
(it’s
not),
who
likes
it
hot
and
who
likes
it
cold?
Squabbling
with
a
roomie
or
better-half
over
a
few
degrees
is
exhausting.
The
staff
knows
all
of
this
voodoo.
Some
gilled
friends
live
to
play
in
a
fast
current
whereas
some
others
prefer
to
drift.
The
staff
and
managers
can
explain
the
balancing
act
of
perfectly
imperfect
planted
aquariums,
complete
with
suggestions
on
lighting,
nutrients,
substrates
and
eye-candy
such
as
driftwood
and
pebbles.
Get
you
water
parameters
tested
(I’m
more
mad
scientist
than
chemist,
so
it’s
best
that
an
expert
tells
me
that
I’m
about
to
see
some
early
departures
going
belly-up
(again,
blame
and
frame
the
gremlins
playing
water-polo).
Go
there,
gab
with
a
gill
geek
and
buy
some
new
friends
-
there’s
nothing
quite
like
a
happily
captive
audience.
