What a time to get married! My husband and I got engaged in 2020 in the height of the pandemic and waited a year to start planning. Initially, we thought we wanted a small destination wedding and after much consideration, we decided on a whim in November 2021 to look at venues. We knew we wanted a venue with a lot of land! We didn’t want a barn wedding per se as we really wanted something outdoors but we were open to anything. We knew we wanted a one-stop shop with ceremony and reception (and lots of parking!) and when we arrived to WaterStone to meet with Cynthia (we were in the area looking at another popular venue with a greenhouse that had no dates for 2022 available!), we just knew we found a gem! After leaving, we just felt it was the one and I called Cynthia right away and secured a date! And after that, the wedding planning just fell into place!!! Felt amazing to have a date for 2022 and we got married on a beautiful Thanksgiving Sunday and we are so grateful we chose WaterStone and all our dreams really did come true! I cannot express how thankful I am and how grateful I am to the staff! The staff are first off amazing and really know their craft. They are so encouraging of using what you have and keeping it simple as the venue is naturally gorgeous – you do not need to spend a lot on décor. If anything, I would recommend printing photo plaques at Costco and having them be a part of décor. And then after the wedding, you can give them to your in laws or use them for décor at home. The staff did a great job decorating and using what we provided for them on the day of the wedding. They are so creative and really got our vision right! What also makes this venue amazing is that you can get a special occasions permit and buy your own alcohol. We LOVED this as we were able to customize our own bar and really, we got to go as premium as we wanted and whatever you don’t drink and open, you can always return! Our guests loved our bar and loved the selection of drinks! I just loved the fresh air at this venue – and the options to have a wedding outdoors or in their barn on site are amazing! I love their venue space for reception as we knew we wanted a more intimate wedding and with about 100 people, we found it was nice. Our first dance, you can hear laughter and people could hear us talk and we loved that! Throughout the wedding planning process, Cynthia was easily accessible by phone and email. She always answered our questions and was able to provide us with some flexible options to our dinner menu. We went with a late night seafood option and it was amazing. We also did the buffet dinner and our guests loved the food! As well, we were able to use the space for a quick Chinese Tea ceremony on the day of the wedding. While the day was hectic with family getting ready, the day just turned out so beautifully and everybody loved the venue. The kids at the wedding had the best time – we barely saw any of them! They loved running all over the grass! And funny enough, our Officiant Richard Moore (who is also highly recommended and one of the venues’ preferred vendors) was there for a rehearsal the same day we were viewing the venue and he was being so magnanimous and animated, I just knew I had to hire him for our wedding day and we did!!!! He was amazing! I also hired two more vendors (florals and cake) off their preferred list and and we were thrilled with the results! You cannot go wrong! I could ramble on and on about WaterStone but we truly loved doing our own site visits when we could just so we could have face-to-face meetings and see the space! Driving there from Mississauga was so worth it. It is just another world there – so peaceful and zen! I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for something rustic and romantic. Best decision we ever made after deciding to get married! Love you all @ WS! Miss you! Xo

We had our wedding in July 2022 and to say Waterstone Estate and Farms met all our expectations and beyond is an understatement. Our guests loved the venue. From the beautiful scenery, to every little details, the wonderful staff, the service, the lovely ladies at the bar, the amazing and delicious food, everything was perfection. On top of it Cynthia, our event coordinator, did a fabulous job managing our day and we could not be any happier. Thank you Cynthia and Waterstone team for making our wedding a special and memorable day for us. We greatly appreciate everything.

My friend got married at Waterstone Farms on Feb.22,2020. Yes in the winter. The staff was very helpful in assisting and coordinating the way she wanted to plan her wedding. She had about 120 guests. The staff was nice and attentive. They allowed my friend to ride the horse from the barn to the venue. This place was great.

Recently attended my best friend's wedding on September 8, 2023. So many wonderful things to say about the venue and the WaterStone Estate & Farm's team. The grounds were impeccable and the buildings were in great condition - so many places to capture photos of your special day. The food was tasty and a great portion - hats off to the chef! Let's talk about the real star of the venue; Devin! She is fantastic! She was so detailed, helpful and understanding. The day of the event she was in touch with me to ensure things were done on time, according to our plans. Hands down, she was the most organized person I have worked with when event planning. She truly ensured that the Bride/Groom and planning team had a stress-free night. I actually wish I had more weddings to plan lol The serving staff were professional, well dressed and had flawless execution. I highly recommend this venue for anyone's special day!!

I highly recommend this venue if your looking for farm rustic  wedding. Cynthia is the one I was in contact with, and she gave us a nice tour of the property.  I absolutely love the old barn for the ceremony. It's about a 45 minute drive from Toronto, so keep that in mind when looking for places to stay for your guests, not many options around. I would suggest gathering a list of preferred hotels, airbnb in the area. It would be helpful for sealing the deal in planning

Came here for a wedding. Beautiful venue, but the food left alot to be desired.

Attended my niece's wedding there yesterday. The wedding itself was performed in a renovated barn set up for these types of events. Reception was held in another facility withing walking distance of the barn. Very nice and cozy for up to to 150 people. Would reccomended this facility for small weddings.

We had an amazing wedding day at Waterstone! Devin was the absolute best day of coordinator, and she kept things running smoothly. She was awesome leading up to the event and so helpful. The venue is gorgeous and every guest talked about it after, how much they loved it. Devin went above and beyond the whole time from booking until the day! Highly recommend. Also SO MANY nice places for photos!

Absolutely amazing venue for intimate weddings. The scenery is awesome and makes for great pictures. We recently attended our nephews wedding and loved everything from the decor, food and service.

A very intimate setting with great views and the kind of charm a lot of people look for. The building inside has a very rustic feel. Definitely recommended for smaller weddings

Not sure where to begin. Our wedding at Waterstone was everything we pictured and more. The barn was absolutely stunning, the scenery gorgeous, the food to die for, the staff absolutely incredible, and the party - one for the books. Our coordinator Cynthia was absolutely amazing ensuring everything ran smoothly, keeping us updated leading up to the wedding, and even joined us for a dance before the nights end. There is a not a thing we would change about our day. Our guests said it was one of the best weddings they ever attended and a huge part of that was all thanks to the vendors and staff. Highly highly highly recommend having your wedding or event here.

Photographed a wedding here this year and it is an absolutely stunning venue. Love the barn for ceremonies. There are so many gorgeous spots for photos across the grounds. Hope to be back soon!

We booked with Waterstone for our Aug. 2023 wedding and could not be happier. They were accommodating, professional and organized! Our day of coordinator Lindsay made the whole day go smoothly for us, allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves. From start to finish they made the whole process easy with no surprises along the way. We had the best day! The grounds are beautiful and the food was amazing! We are very happy and would definitely recommend!

I've worked weddings at WaterStone a couple times and the venue is beautiful. The bridal suite has some of the most Terrible lighting I've ever experienced. Both in the main room and by the mirror. The best lighting happens to be in the bathroom which is unfortunate.
