2023 UPDATE: On Dec, 31 2022 myself and five of my friends started our NYE night here with dinner. I'd mentioned to them that the food here was yummy but they never expected it to be over the top delicious! ALL 5 of them LOVED the food. TOGETHER, WE ALL HAD: - Veggie spring rolls - A shrimp basil dish - Cashew chicken - Pad Thai - Schnitzel - Lots of mixed drinks including Mojitos Every dish we had was fantastic! The service was also super friendly. One of my friends is now thinking of having a small wedding reception here :) ORIGINAL 2019 REVIEW: The food here (Thai with a Hungarian twist) is SO delicious. We had the chicken Pad Thai and the Cashew chicken and loved it!!! This place is small and cozy but has a unique character about it as well as great service.

Hungarian food was delicious with large portion sizes! We got the Hungarian pork schnitzel, chicken paprikash, cabbage roll and chestnut purée. The schnitzel was juicy chicken was fall apart tender, and seasoning was tangy and rich. Service was friendly and helped explain everything!

As a Thai-Hungarian, this restaurant has been on my bucket list for 8 years. I finally came to Toronto to try it out - and the experience did not disappoint. The menu covers Hungarian as well as Thai classics. The chicken paprika with dumplings was our favourite, paired with the chicken krapow (basil). Enjoy it Asian-style with sharing plates for a truly unique culinary experience. The server was super friendly. I even got to meet the owner, which made the trip to Toronto totally worthwhile.

I had a fantastic time here! The staff were very friendly and courteous, that combined with the homey ambiance and place settings made it feel like I was a guest at someone's table! I ordered the chicken pad Thai and my friends got the three course meal with the schnitzel. Everything tasted wonderful and the portions were just giant! It was so good and I still had leftovers to take home! I would totally recommend and will be coming again soon!

Awesome postmodern cuisine where you can get a unique combo of 2 very different cultures: Thai and hungarian! If you are hungry and eat meat, recommend the hungarian combo for 2 along with 1 thai dish

Stumbled on this place by accident as I was helping the owner Marianne with something. She was really nice, sweet and kind throughout what I was helping her with. Eventually I came to try some of their food, it was really fkin good. I am not sure about some of the negative comments, I had a really good experience and the food was great. The Green Thai Curry with chicken though was AMAZING. I ate a good portion before taking the pic because it was really really really good. Spicy but not spicy to the point that I was craving a lot of water. Really good for my spice level and something I genuinely enjoyed! The Pad Thai just wasn't for me, which isn't to say it's a bad dish. Just not something I am used to having! My parents loved it when I brought it home for them! Thank you Marianne for the great food and for the chefs/wait staff! Everyone was nice and pleasant.

When I saw "Schnitzel Pad Thai" on the sidewalk sandwich board I knew I had to stop. Never had Integer considered those two dishes together, but now having experienced it I can tell you it's brilliant. Schnitzel can tend to be dry, and is often served on spatzel which is bland AF. But when you combine Hungarian and Thai, serving schnitzel stop a shrimp and chicken pad thai, it is absolutely incredible. Food was great. Atmosphere great. Service great.

Absolutely love this place. The location is within the bustling Kensington Market. The patio would be the best option. The lady running the place is the most politest. We ordered the pad thai, basil rice and the fried rice. Orders were fresh and hot and the servings pretty good. Go early so find a spot. A little challenging going on a weekend. I'll go there again for sure.

It was a warm day to be out and about in downtown Toronto's Kensington Market neighbourhood. Every large city has its own vintage walkable all-round tourist draw like this one lined with speciality shops, eateries & bars, and the odd tenant that doesn't seem to blend in. With COVID-19 social distancing protocols in effect, eateries have had to establish makeshift patios onto sidewalks and local streets. My sweetie and I stopped here for a quick lunch after walking several streets trying to decide on what to savour. A small sidewalk sign "Schnitzel & Pad-Thai" sealed the deal. Apparently the sign announced the daily lunch specials for $13 so that's what we ordered along with a pint of Hogtown beer. A cold bottle of Toronto's finest tap water was also refreshing. I truly enjoyed the tasty lightly breaded Schnitzel with crispy fries. My better half was not impressed with her Vegetable Stir-fry Pad Thai with a hand-crafted spring roll compared to a Thai restaurant we went to recently. Hey! We are sitting on a patio, the sun is shining, the meal was good value for a tourist area, and the service was great. It's all good.

The meals here are not only delicious but also fresh! From the first bite, I could tell that this was quality food that was wroth the price. I also want to add the waitress was friendly, the food came quickly on a saturday afternoon and there servings were generous. When I'm in Toronto again, I will definitely come back here!

Had a very mediocre and fairly pricey Pad Thai. Smallish portion of noodles drowning in an overly sweet sauce with a very small amount of chicken and basically nothing else. My friend had the Budapest shnitzel which he really enjoyed and looked excellent. Service was a little slow and we were not all served at the same time.

Hungary Thai is my #1 must eat when visiting Toronto. The best goulash and paprikash ever! Where else can you Hungarian food served with an amazing Thai iced tea? Such a cool fusion restaurant concept. Staff are so warm and kind, ambience is relaxing, beautiful art and music. Seriously if you're in Kensington market come here, you will *not regret it. My go to order is goulash appetizer, beef paprikash, thai iced tea, and Hungarian chestnut dessert 100/10. Thank you Hungary Thai for amazing food and service every single time ❤️🇭🇺🇹🇭

Wow… one of the best meals I have ever had in Toronto. I am so impressed, their hungarian food is amazing as well as their thai food. We got the Thai and Hungarian combo for 2 ($69) and portions were amazing and so delicious. Highly recommend!!! Waitress is a sweetheart as well ❤️

Service was nice and the portions were quite filling. However, the food honestly just wasn’t that good. I had the shrimp chips and Gipsy Schnitzel. The bacon that came with the Gipsy Schnitzel was extremely tough and chewy. The Schnitzel itself was rather lack luster and nothing else left an impact on my pallet.

Always great! Have been going for years. The thai and Hungarian mix is a little odd but it’s like eating at friends house, make a bunch of food and it tastes great! We will be back soon

Some of the best and most unique (in a good way) fried rice I've ever had! Cute space with friendly staff, and food came quickly. Definitely want to come back to try more things on the menu!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hungary Thai, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant Kensington Market of Toronto. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for an extraordinary culinary experience. The menu at Hungary Thai is a tantalizing blend of traditional Thai flavors and innovative creations. I had the privilege of trying their Green Curry and Spring Rolls, and I must say, they were absolutely divine. The Green Curry had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess, with tender chunks of chicken and a medley of fresh vegetables. It was a true explosion of flavors that left me craving for more. As for the Spring Rolls, they were a delightful combination of crispy exteriors and mouthwatering fillings. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes that showcased the chef's expertise and attention to detail. What truly impressed me, however, was the freshness of the ingredients used in every dish. It was evident that the restaurant takes great pride in sourcing top-quality produce and using authentic Thai spices and herbs. This commitment to quality elevated the entire dining experience and made each dish a memorable delight. In addition to the outstanding cuisine, the customer service at Hungary Thai was exemplary. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring the utmost satisfaction of their guests. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and promptly seated. Throughout the meal, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers truly set them apart. I cannot recommend Hungary Thai enough. Whether you're a Thai food aficionado or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, this establishment is a must-visit. The exceptional Thai cuisine, especially the Green Curry and Spring Rolls, will transport your taste buds to the heart of Thailand. And coupled with the impeccable customer service, Hungary Thai creates a dining experience that is truly second to none. I, for one, am already planning my next visit to savor their incredible offerings once again.

Lots of fun for us. My wife grew up in Hungary and it was great to pair her food from childhood with the asian foods we often enjoy. Our waitress was really personable and attentive as well.

We had an amazing experience getting lunch here! We ordered the Hungarian and Thai combo for 2, which came with spring rolls, cabbage rolls, chicken pad thai and schnitzel. The food was amazing and reminded me of my mom and grandma’s cooking, it was a joy to eat. I also got the sangria, and they give you a full large glass, it was amazing! The outdoor seating area is so cute, but also looks great indoors. Definitely recommend coming here next time you’re in Kensington!
