I had to give a one star rating because I couldn’t give any lower rating. On 27 th Feb 2023, I reached the gym at 4:00 Am to get an early morning workout done. I usually workout at a different branch but I had to get an early workout done. Unfortunately even after buzzing for over 30 minutes nobody responded and I had to leave after paying the parking fee. If you wish to get a early morning workout and value your time please do not go to this branch. If the management team is reading reviews their is no point having a 24 hours gym if the members cannot access the gym during those hours. Please update your gym hours so people do not end up wasting their precious time.

GoodLife Fitness in Liberty Village is a great gym with all you need for your workout, classes and the best personal trainer there: Carla Villegas. She’s a lovely, caring and very professional person who is always willing to help, 100% recommended, every single fitness club should have a Carla Villegas in their staff.

Pretty solid gym. Got most of the equipment you need. I love that they added a glute machine - it was well needed. What isn’t great is the fluctuating hours. I swear every two weeks the hours of operation changes. Either you’re hit with a busy gym or it’s closed. It would be great to have it open on the weekends longer especially on Friday’s. Closes at 8pm? That’s ridiculous. Not everyone is a party person or wants to workout at a busy gym. Some prefer a night time workout and it seems impossible on the weekends. Then maybe there will be an empty squat rack.

Goodlife Fitness at Hanna Avenue is an amazing place to work out! The space is pretty specious with almost all equipment needed! Moreover, I'd like to point out that a customer service is of a very high- quality! All of my family members were signed up to the gym membership by Nevin, an extremely professional, considerate, patient, well-spoken, friendly and passionate about his job sales representative 😊 Not only my family members got their memberships with Nevin's help, but also some of my coworkers. And all of them are thankful and satisfied with the outstanding customer service experience, that was provided by Nevin! All the information provided by him was accurate and detailed, as well as all gym services were explained thoroughly! On top of that, Nevin always guides me through my membership. He keeps us posted about all gym's updates and new services! Goodlife Fitness is super lucky to have Nevin in their team! Thank you, Nevin!!!

On September 7, 2021 at 5:30pm Desk Staffs rose a cause of concerns. A Day after, the Manager called and addressed the issue in professional manner. I shall add that I am member of this club for years and, at all material time, the staff, Instructors and Manager have tried their best to maintain a safe an high standard fitness club. Definitely, I prefer this Club to all new Clubs in the growing like toxic mushroom in the Liberty, Toronto. Major Nourhaghighi

This gym is too small for its customer demand. Expansion needs to be seriously considered to improve customer satisfaction and enjoyment. It looks like there is a big hallway/lobby on the first of this building and there should be thought into making this a two story gym, with cardio and a turf (by the way there is no turf at this gym unlike most locations which is disappointing), and weights/machines at the bottom. Even early in the morning at 7 AM you're lucky to find an available bench or lifting platform.

I started personal training with Ryan in August. Over the past few months I’ve seen amazing results. She’s the most supportive, knowledgeable, caring, fun trainer. She knows how to push you to be your best without being aggressive. You can tell she’s very passionate about what she does and she’s always teaching me new ways to take care of myself, body and mind. Ryan is the best and I look forward to continuing to work with her :) Every workout is fun and I genuinely look forward to them :)

I went to work out at 10pm on a Tuesday evening . I was told the gym was closed for renovations. A customer service focused company would have bothered posting signage at the entrance to advise their members of the closure. Otherwise, a good gym with excellent hours of operations.

Message on behalf of our GoodLife member and Personal Training client: Hi Brian, I hope you are doing well and enjoyed the long weekend. I just wanted to thank you for suggesting Tim Park as my personal trainer, I have nothing but great comments about him. Tim and I have worked together for 4 months , and I have seen amazing results , not only on my physical aspect but also on my metal well- being. Tim is definitely a one of a kind trainer, he makes every single session different and challenging . He is dedicated, organized, punctual, reliable , super knowledgeable, and very professional. One of the things that I value the most is his ability to read my energy during my training session . Tim knows perfectly when to push me more and when to slow me down to prevent an injury. I think , this has been crucial during my fitness journey. Not to mention that he makes sure I get all my sessions done as consistency is key. I cannot thank Tim enough for being a huge support and for ensuring that my fitness goals are met . I totally recommend Tim as a personal trainer , and I can assure anyone that he will exceed your expectations. I have worked with great trainers in the past, but it was not until I started training with Tim that I noticed significant results. Thank you Brian for always being accommodating, I know I am a difficult client, but I am super happy with the way you have handled all situations . It is very nice to train at a place where everyone welcomes you with a smile and know you by your name. Once again, thank you so much Tim and Brian for helping me to achieve my fitness goals. 😊 I don’t have a google account, so I will thank you immensely if you can submit this review for me . I would like more people to know about my experience and being benefited by Tim’s knowledge . Thank you, Gabriela A.

Closest GoodLife to me and happy about it! Great facility with everything you need whether you’re a lifter, cardio god or stretching savant. Friendly staff and some great trainers. If you’re there ask for Laura for a session. She will give you the workout of a lifetime. So good!

The club itself is nice but the number of equipments are not enough for the crowd even during least busy times. And add to that the example of treadmills been on maintenance/out of service for a long time (only 5 working treadmills) which makes a line up each time I’m in and try to use them… I hope they improve the service

This year I had the chance to visit a lot of gyms in North America but this gym has been undoubtedly the friendliest, most organized, cleanest and well managed out of them all. Everything runs like clockwork, never had a problem with anything. Got a chance to meet the manager who is an exceptional guy, him and his staff bring a very friendly atmospgere to the place, that is welcoming to experts and newbies alike. 10/10 would recommend, even if you are in Toronto for a short time.

Had a fantastic first day at GoodLife gym in Toronto King Liberty! Nevin made sure I felt at home and on-boarded me properly, and Ryan/Brian at the front desk was super friendly and helped me with my several queries. Despite some crowding and waits for equipment in the evenings, the atmosphere is motivating. Excited to continue my fitness journey here! Highly recommend.

One of my favourite GoodLife locations. Overall pretty clean, if the members cared more, it would be better. The gym is spacious and equipped enough, sometimes you have to wait but this is understandable due to its high capacity and location. Overall happy with this one.

I’ve been going to this gym regularly for over a year now, and I really can’t see myself going anywhere else. This place really grows on you. They have very kind staff that always greet you when you enter and leave, and they’re never short on towels. The recovery room is my favourite feature of this gym, and is actually what I think makes this location the best one. Facilities are also clean and tidy, regardless of how busy it is at certain hours. I also found other members to be generally respectful and are often kind enough to let you work-in with them if you ask to use the machine. Also, another bonus to this gym is the validated parking! Which has helped me many times when I’d be coming out of rush hour. Overall, I’ve found this gym to be pretty accommodating which makes it harder to come up with excuses to not go. If your’e looking for a gym that will keep you motivated and stay on track with your fitness goals, then this is it! Also, just wanted to give a very special shout out to one of the personal trainers at this GL location that I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of working with. Her name is Nikki Rose! I started my PT sessions with her about a month ago, and even in that short amount of time I’ve learned so much. She comes with the right personal and professional experience that has truly changed the way I look at my overall physical and mental health. Every session with her has been fun and challenging with every minute of our time maximized to its fullest. She is definitely someone I can rely on to help me integrate physical activities and proper eating into the healthy lifestyle I’ve always wanted. Food has always been my biggest challenge and Nikki’s been generous enough to help me with this by sharing recipes and meal ideas that will last me the rest of the year! I’m so thankful to have met her.

I returned to GoodLife for the first time probably since the start of the pandemic and this was a new location for me since I recently moved. When I walked in, the first employee that I unexpectedly saw was Daniel (who used to work at the GoodLife I used to attend). It was great to see a familiar face - he was very welcoming, took the time to fully orient me to the new location, reviewed the safety protocols and made sure that I felt comfortable. It was truly a great first experience back at the gym! Looking forward to continuing to workout at this location.

I've been attending this Goodlife for 10+ years and have to say that since the Covid shutdown and new on site management, the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the club has been the best I've ever seen it. Danny and his team have done a great job in making the gym feel sanitary and organized and overall just brought the level of this gym up to where it should be. My hats off to the staff, keep up the great work.

I've been with Liberty Village GL for over 8 years and I'm utterly impressed with how clean the gym is now. The new management team and staff are constantly cleaning the machines & re-racking the weights, dusting and mopping the floors! I've never seen my gym so consistently clean. Great job to the Mangers and staff for keeping on top of it all.

Took the time to explain how the muscles and body work and made sure I had the right technique each time. His commitment and dedication is above and beyond. Decent gym, considering the area was originally made for office space. It has all the basics and then some. Unfortunately the space doesn't allow for a turf area that other GoodLife locations have. Staff is also very friendly. When you show up often they'll make small talk; it gives you a sense of community. For some, that may be an added incentive to get to the gym. The two things that really hurt this gym, isn't necessarily the fault of the business itself: 1. Service area - For a gym that serves all of Liberty Village (still growing) and the surrounding area, it's not nearly big enough. As soon as 11am hits, the place starts getting busy. Despite the gym's best efforts of adding equipment, I usually find myself waiting for a machine, power rack or bench. 2. Clientele - Ignorant people are typical at any gym, but because it's Liberty Village there's a higher volume. A lot of fitness influencers hogging equipment and positioning their cameras and mini tripods to get their shots instead of just getting their sets in and getting out. Groups of friends monopolizing power racks (sometimes they'll all be resting at the same time instead of sequentially getting their sets in). People just blatantly misusing equipment (eg. curlers in the power rack, people taking bumper plates to other parts of the gym, people barbell squatting on the bench press). I would blame the staff for not doing anything about this. But honestly they don't get paid enough to deal these problems.

I have nothing but good things to say about this goodlife location. They recently did an upgrade of the equipments, added new equipments like a hack squat and a hip thrust machine, I've been looking for a gym with a hack squat machine for close to a year so I am very glad this was one of the additions they made! The staff is amazing and nice. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming. I would definitely recommend to other people!

I was just at the Liberty Village GoodLife location. The Manager Danny is a very exceptional person. He is always smiling and so pleasant. He is always working to keep the gym so clean and presentable. I see him putting back equipments that customers just leave around. He puts weights back in their proper place and picks up used paper towels that customers throws on the ground. A great guy to have as a manager and a leader!!!

I would like to take a moment to share my experience at the gym I frequent and express my appreciation for their exceptional general manager Danny and staff. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides ample space for various workout routines. The availability of diverse fitness classes and personalized training sessions further enhances the overall experience. The manager, Danny is always approachable, open to feedback, and willing to address any concerns promptly. They have fostered a positive and inclusive environment where every member feels welcomed and supported. The entire staff at the gym deserves recognition for their friendly and helpful demeanor. From the front desk personnel to the trainers, they consistently provide excellent customer service, making every visit enjoyable and stress-free. My experience at this gym has been nothing short of fantastic, thanks to the outstanding efforts of Danny and dedicated staff like Jerome, Brian, Shameer, Nevin, and Jhoseline. I highly recommend this gym to anyone seeking a welcoming and well-equipped fitness facility, where their health and fitness goals can be achieved with utmost support and guidance.

Danny, shameer, Jerome and Julian always have a smiling face to greet you. They create a genuine community that makes you feel welcome and when they are working you can tell because the showers are very clean. The new recovery room is great and saves time of having to bring lots of equipment with me to the gym. Would reccomend this gym outside of peak hours.

This is not a bad location, for a commercial gym it is expected to be busy all gyms would be after 3pm. I’ve been coming to this location for about 2 years now and love the staff they are like family.. literally see them everyday. Daniel L. The GM is always so helpful whenever I would have a minor issue, with parking for example. Other than it being busy at EXPECTED times… it has everything you need in a gym plus more.

Took my friend here to workout with me (he's also a goodlife member) and they wouldn't let him in because it had only been 15 days since he got his second dose...? The time needed is only 2-weeks for the second dose to take it's full effect so this baffled me and did not make sense. The worker told him "you need to wait another day or two" so I think even she did not know what she's talking about.

Very clean, new equipment. They've done decently with equipment representation. 3 squat racks with deadlift platforms, 4 benches (1 dec, 1 inc). If it were up to me there would be more squat racks and benches (people use a squat rack for their whole ~1hr workout sometimes). Bottom line: don't come here, we're full!

It was my first visit at the liberty village gym and I was slightly nervous because it is a busier location. Once I went in, the front desk staff named Michelle was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable with her friendly tone. She asked how I was doing and could tell it was my first time, she showed me around and told me I could come to her if I had any questions. I will definitely be coming back to this location because of the friendly atmosphere!!!

I've been a member of the Liberty Village Goodlife gym for a number of years now and I absolutely love it! Sometimes it gets busy but overall, it's a big gym with plenty of equipment and there's almost never a wait for anything. One of the best things about the Liberty Village location is the staff - From the people who work the front desk to the training staff, everyone is super friendly and professional. In particular, the Fitness Manager Brian is my personal trainer and has been for over a year and his attention to detail, professionalism and responsiveness is top-notch. If you need a personal trainer, I highly recommend Brian!

I am NOT a fitness person. I tried going to the gym in the past but never felt like I wanted to go training. I landed at Liberty Village Goodlife by chance as part of a “campaign” they did to motivate people like myself; they invited me for a two-week complimentary trial. At first, I thought I would give it a try because I HAVE TO exercise, lose weight, regain muscle tone, and all the good things that come with it… But it wasn’t something I expected actually to be able to enjoy. I was wrong. I am so happy I gave it a try! It has changed my view of “going to the gym” and made it into something I really enjoy. My training sessions with Latif are very complete. He has taken the time to teach me how every machine works, the sequence I should follow, the care I should have when doing each exercise, how to stretch and not hurt myself, etc. I finally understand the gym itself, the machines, and the way to work out. My life is changing for the better and my back pain begins to be under control. I’m becoming a fitness person and I enjoy it. Thank you! Oh, I forgot to mention the welcoming smiles at the entrance. Everybody makes you feel welcome, they have a great team that makes a wonderful atmosphere.

About a month ago, I started exercising with Laura as my trainer.
Not having exercised for a long time or been in a gym for a long time, I was bit hesitant about gym in general but when I met and got to know Laura, I knew that she was the perfect trainer for me.
She is professional yet kind, patient and understanding. Her encouragement has given me the confidence that I needed to start working on my goals.
I am happy with my progress and feel assured that with her continued training and encouragement I would continue getting good results and attain my goals. Plus, I want to also thank Brian for being so accommodating. Without your help, I wouldn’t have started this training. Thank you again. - Tenzin

Been going here for the past 4 months and its definitely above average in size, great when it comes to equipment availability and out of the world excellent when it comes to staff and crowd. Parking is validated for 2 hours Free, and its a spacious, well maintained and clean basement parking. The Sauna was recently renovated and is never crowded. Equipment availability might be an issue during peak hours however its never a long wait.

This location is excellent. Great natural lighting and views, clean and relatively spacious/sensible layout, 5 squat racks and plenty of machinery and free weights. Renovations have taken place over the past few months and new machines have been added; those that break seem to be fixed promptly. Staff are very friendly too! Special thanks to general manager Brian for his empathy, knowledge, and kindness during the initial consultation session.

I spend as much time in there as I do on the floor! The massage chair and massage gun are my favourites! The meditation room left me feeling relaxed and it was a great way to end my workout. There are lots of machines, lots of weights, and amazing classes for everyone!! I'm a big fan of Goodlife in general, but this gym in particular is at the top of my list!!

I wanted to make some lifestyle changes and got a gym membership for the first time ever. Today I had my last personal training session with Dakota Duguid, and I’m so glad I got to work with her to kick off my journey. Dakota not only has extensive knowledge of bodily health and anatomy, she explains the importance and reasoning behind each exercise so clearly and concisely as you go. I loved having this knowledge so that everything I was doing felt purposeful, even when it was challenging! She does all of this in an exceptionally friendly, warm, encouraging, and totally judgement-free way. I strongly recommend her to anyone starting their fitness journey, or those who want to revisit or fine tune their know-how with some seriously lovely guidance. Joining a gym can definitely be intimidating, but I feel confident I can go on my own now, and even have a routine to continue and build upon thanks to her!

The gym is now even more comfortable with recent additions including extra squat racks, hack squat, and additional sets of dumbbells, reducing wait times and allowing for quicker workouts. However, due to size limitations, the spin studio has been converted into a personal training area, although there are still two bikes available in the virtual studio. Despite this change, the staff remains friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused, even patiently listening to members' life stories. Perhaps they should start charging a therapist's rate for their attentive ear. Despite its size limitations, this gym is still a great place to train. The friendly staff and members create an enjoyable workout atmosphere. However, one improvement that could be made is offering an annual gym etiquette course for all members, which would enhance the gym experience for everyone.

Excellent gym, clean, well maintained, friendly staff. When I first joined Shameer gave me the tour. He was so friendly, informative, even showed me how to use the 20 minute body fix. Shameer is the perfect example of exceptional customer service. Till this day he always greets everyone with a smile and is authentically kind and friendly.

This review is specifically about my personal training experience with Andrew. Although I was skeptical about trying PT at Goodlife, my experience has been excellent because of Andrew. Brian connected me to him and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better trainer. I had specific goals and he has tailored all my sessions to meet them. He is patient and kind, but kicks your butt with the workouts at the same time. He is very knowledgeable and will explain the purpose of different movements. He takes notes and makes the most out of each session. Within a short period of time I have already seen a big difference in posture, movements and energy level. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone thinking of joining the Goodlife Liberty Village location!

Nikki stands out as the most outstanding and first trainer I've ever had. My girlfriend recommended her to me. It was a great experience and I learnt a lot from her. She places a strong emphasis on her clients and consistently goes above and beyond to provide assistance. With her guidance, I've made significant progress toward my physical goals, and I would wholeheartedly rate her a perfect 10/10 in all aspects.

Phenomenal staff, I had an amazing experience with their personal trainer Nikki R. She played a key role in jump starting my fitness journey and demonstrated excellent coaching abilities across the board. She has keen eye for form and had lots of helpful tricks to make sure I was always pushing myself but not moving in ways that would cause damage. Her great insights are backed by her clear technical knowledge and personal experience. A trainer with an incredible dedication to her clients, 10/10 would recommend anyone to start training with her. As for the building itself, its in a great location and is immaculately organized: spacious group fitness, no multiple floors, not too many rooms, phenomenal lighting, and a decent amount of machines.

Nice gym but always busy no matter what time you go. It is way too small for the area it services. I’ve come in the middle of the work day, early morning, late at night, doesn’t matter, it’s always ridiculously busy. There are only 2 flat bench presses for the entire packed gym and there are regularly lines for the squat racks. Imagine paying almost $80 a month or more to wait in line for a squat rack. Had to cancel less than a month after I signed up. If you’re close to Hone fitness, check them out. Less than half the price and you don’t have to deal with people asking you every 2 minutes how many sets you have left and guys taking up 2 machines while he supersets. I miss my old gym. This was such a waste of money.

One of my favourite locations to workout at! Amazing trainers and staff, facility is clean and love the variety of classes they now offer. Glad to be back physically at a gym.

Very unprofessional upper management and extremely fake. I know for a fact 50 percent of the positive reviews left here are requested by management to be written and not done by clients on there own. Ths location liberty village when the gym equipment breaks down its not repaired for months !!! Some members are favoured over others are dismissed. Zero equality and poor decision making leads to a poor and unhealthy training environment.

I have joined this club on King this summer 2020 and took the personal training at once. I thought I knew everything =)) but my trainer Duc showed the right technics and a lot of details which I didnt know. I see the results now. Missing a lot the times when you could spend few hours in the gym and hope it will come back soon..

This gym is HUGE and really awesome. The facilities are great and really clean. I had alot of good customer care and planning when speaking with the trainers that work there. Special mention to Andrew Delgado and to Daniel Kim. These guys really made my short 4 week membership with GL feel much longer and worth it.

Thanks to Daniel Kim for scheduling a meeting with me at my connivence and giving me tour of the club. He was very kind, knowledgeable about health and fitness and on-top of that very motivating for me to continue my fitness journey through GoodLife. Answered all the questions I had with complete transparency and I left motivated to come back! If you are questioning if this is the gym for you contact the club and ask for Daniel, 10/10 would recommend him and GoodLife Lib Vill!

If you love this gym (as I do), you can thank George MacPherson for that. Having worked with him before, this guy cares about every detail. With my office 5 mins away, it's ideal for my 1hr tuneout from the world. Great staff and members (many of which are real estate clients of mine now also).

I've been going to this location for quite sometime and truthfully, I have never met a team with so much professionalism, in good spirit, and down to earth. I love the enthusiasm when you walk in, greeting you with smiles on their face - a very personable team! Despite of our current situation, this team conduct themselves in high standards while upholding excellent customer service. It's always easy to complain and rant about one's experience but very little acknowledgement on the positive side. There's a lot of complaints about the Goodlife app - my speculation is that it's an IT issue, not the location's fault that the app constantly shuts down. Of course it's going to crash! The amount of people trying to book a time slot will impact the software - this is unprecedent times. Be patient and understand - they're trying to solve the issue. If you can't access the gym.... come up with a plan - that's on you! Impactful team member - I am most fortunate to meet Jasper. I've noticed he takes all the complaints (in the morning) ever since COVID. He never looses temper (even though there are CERTAIN members who are screaming at him), he's always encouraging others to keep going, and he resembles someone you can trust. I look forward to seeing him every morning along with the rest of the team. Truthfully, thank you for keeping your spirits up especially at this time. For all the rest of the team, you guys are amazing. BIGGEST thank you for continuing to work, being positive, and always stay safe and look out for each other.

The club now opens 24/7 which is super convenience for me. However, the club does not provide kettlebells to its members but to the trainers only which makes me very angry as these exercise equipments are so cheap. I have gone to KingWest Fitness gym, kettlebells are everywhere in the gym.

Always enjoy my workout at King Liberty GL, especially after they reorganized the layout earlier this year. Staffs great and the AGM Daniel is always super helpful for any membership issues that come up. Only downside is since the COVID restrictions came about it has been difficult to book a time slot. Not their fault as it's a busy club but you can't review the virus!

I love this gym! The staff is very friendly and on top of COVID. I have personal training during their clean up periods and I promise you they sanitize all equipment VERY thoroughly! They never go over capacity and have staff supervising to make sure everyone is following the rules. My personal trainer Duc is also fantastic and very smart. I went in primarily to alleviate back pain and build muscle. After 2 weeks there was already noticeable difference in my posture. Sitting at a computer all day became a lot less painful.

This club is always busy, for me this isn't bad it's motivating. I LOVE SATURDAY STEP! So much fun. Pump is a great full body work out when you don't know what workout you should do that day.

I've worked and trained in as many gyms as anyone and this one is one of the best overall. A lower monthly fee(older members) would be better just because there is sometimes way too many people. Other than that...you can't go wrong. The people who have written bad reviews about this place are just whiny and bitter about life. Find something better to do.:-)

I've been a member at this specific location for the last 5 years and we have built a community at this location within the Liberty Village/Queen West area. The staff go above and beyond to ensure members are always looked after. The front desk staff especially, Jasper Lun are always so warm, welcoming and present upon arrival. They make it a habit to get to know each and every member individually by name which elevates your experience and makes the gym visit that much more comfortable and enjoyable. During these crazy Covid times the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure the gym and community remains safe by implementing all the proper covid protocols and taking the time to speak with each member to answer any questions or address concerns. Patience is a virtue but so is positivity. Good job Liberty Village Goodlife you guys are, "The Best." Your efforts, dedication and customer service do not go unnoticed.

I've been here for over 10 years and I never had an issue with the management team and the staff there. I would like to mention the manager Daniel Kim, every time I had an issue with something he would come back to me with professionalism and understanding the situation also with the best ability to help me along with other members/clientele the best of his knowledge. He has a great positive attitude that help drives people to be successful in their workout training programs and give advice or guide how to do proper training workouts if needed

My sister was working out here around March before the shutdown happened, and she accidentally forgot her AirPods there. Luckily when she got home she realized and called the gym back, they told her the AirPods are here and she can come pick it up (which we have a voice recording proof) so she goes the next day to find out the AirPods are gone. We told the employees but they neither checked the cameras, asked employees about it or do anything to help. It’s been about 6/7 months and still no solution coming from Good Life. It’s clear that one of the employees took it so she deserves to have them replaced by GoodLife.

I've been a member for 15 years. During this Covid Pandemic, these slime bags have been charging me full price I asked for my money back and they wouldn't provide it. So during this all, they're closed and still collecting my money. Way to go guys! Nice ethical business...

I went their and they put me in a program for fitness, there was a consultant and I had a session, but he was pushing me to sign up at his program. I didn't feel comfortable, I kept refusing the offer and he kept trying to make it work. This is not marketing or sales, this is pushing people. I'm never going back there.

I went in person to cancel my account and called again before gym opened in 2021 to make sure it is cancelled, I was guaranteed my membership was called by the stuff. And I noticed I was still charged for it for another six months. When called again the excuses I heard was the stuff were too busy and forgot to cancel my membership. And I should try understand and it is my fault that I didn't know I am supposed to receive an email confirmation as well. The person said the payments are solid even it showed I didn't come to this gym during Covid for almost one year and half. Sometimes the payment is $12, or $9 or $6, and goodlife kept on talking money from my account, and I don't think the person is helpful, professional and polite. I trusted their words it is cancelled and ended up get blamed for it.

I have been going to this establishment since 2014, have always but been treated with kindness and a welcome. Today I have mistakenly dropped my AirPods while on the stair stepper and the staff was very admit to make sure I get my AirPod, eventhough was just writing a notes. Briann was kind enough to step in and made sure I got it back. Thank you for the extra hard work -Nael

It’s a decent gym with all the equipment you’ll need for any kind of workout. The best thing about it is the free underground parking. One thing I struggle with is how packed the gym gets between 5-7pm. So if you’re coming to this gym, hoping to have space and all the time you need on equipment, avoid the 5-7PM times

Good machines Good service Good clean facility It is not a five star because the associates do not help when an individual is being obnoxious, singing and screaming loud. It is very distracting while working out. I think it's respectful to others when you are at an audible level for yourself. The service let me down today. Sad.

I love this Goodlife location. I started training with Dakota a few months ago and she has been very empowering and helpful when discussing my fitness journey. I had specific goals in mind, Dakota created a plan to achieve them and I'm already seeing results! She is knowledgable, patient and motivating. Highly recommend PT sessions with Dakota. Also the staff at this location is so friendly and welcoming!

Goodlife has done a great job at standardizing equipment across all their locations, this one is no exception. Expect to wait 15 minutes everytime you want to bench press, squat, or deadlift however. Huge plus is they have 2h free parking underground where it's easy to repark if u gym for longer periods of time

Possibly one of the worst gyms you’ll ever visit, the only positives from this gym is the location, free parking and a good view. Highly recommend joining any other gym in the neighborhood. Listing some of the reasons below: 1. Unhygienic and unclean space Try visiting post 5pm and you will find the washrooms of TTC stations much better than the change rooms at this location, not a single staff cares a damn to clean them up. 2. Staff- Friendly but extremely unprofessional, and work ethic is such a bummer there will be 4 employees at the front desk but not a single will walk around to re rack the weights or make sure the bins ain’t overflowing. If you don’t believe me, visit the gym post 6pm. This makes me question the Management team as to the staff they hire, and how accountable are the employees are to their seniors. You won’t find a single moment when they’re not on their phones at the front desk. 3. Gym rules- not sure if they have rules which are applied to a specific individual or everyone in common, my friend once took his shirt off for which he was warned but I always see an short asian dude posing in his underwear in the big fitness studio which is right in the sight of the front desk and also in the change room while it’s clearly mentioned no photography and videography allowed, wonder why he or people like him are never questioned? 4. Poor choice of equipment/ maintenance- walk in this gym and you won’t find a single hack squat in bonus half of their cardio machines are always under maintenance. 5. Overcrowded- the gym capacity as per the equipment they have is barely for 20 people, but seems like yonge dundas square in the evenings, there is no ratio as to the memberships sold to capacity of the gym. In general, if this gym wants to improve they need a lot of change in the management but meanwhile I have found much better gyms in the neighborhood. Hope this helps, Cheers!

This gym is extremely small for its demand. Even when I go very early in the morning before work I find myself having to wait quite a while for equipment. There are only two flat bench racks which is ridiculous, more than a few times I’d spend waiting for one to free up and then the guy would just call over his friend once he’s done. If you go during peak hours, expect to spend more time waiting than actually working out.
