Not a pleasant place to begin with. The person managing during Sunday morning looks like he is so bored with his job. We were trying to book like a week before and after finally having it, he said there are no booking under that name?? No apologies, no nothing. He even gave us the court with this Shuttle Trap(Image attached) Pathetic Still have the audacity to respond that we did not book anything. Why would we go there as a family of six to just take a chance to get a court if we didn't have any booking? You just lost a new customer. Clearly have no manners, bored and pathetic.

Owner (Richard) as written in the previous reviews is very rude. He blocked my number and we confronted him for doing that. One of our friends were able to contact and he has specifically blocked my number. I would not recommend anyone going to this facility. I’m sure he is going to repent for his arrogance.

It’s ok. It’s a bit expensive and there are many dead spots on the court when playing pickleball. Plastic wraps to ensure ball doesn’t go onto another court but nets would be better for better ventilation. It’s a nice “alternative” when you can’t play outside!

Well maintained courts and nets. A little pricey but worth it! And please have more fans its gets super hot indoors in summer. 😇 UPDATE A YEAR LATER: Went to this place multiple time in summer season then came back a year later in winter season and the owner created a fuss for not having indoor shoes. Which he did not mention at the time of booking. When i confronted him, he started showing his policy board to everyone and stating its been here before the start of winter. The problem is not the policy the problem ks not stating it at the time of booking. I visited with a group of 10 people and all of us had to leave the vicinity due to this specific reason. On top of that owner asked us to play barefeet on the mats. Never coming back here because of his rude behaviour. There are much more badminton places in Scarborough side which are much better in terms of lighting ventilation and the management.

Terrible place and racist administration. We’re done with this toxic environment and have discovered a hidden gem on the other side of 401 (Khel is a new place and just 2 kms away). We used to come here once a week for the past two years. Things have recently changed, and the owner and his arrogant son have been bugging us with some ridiculous policies. Long story short, when we confronted the owner's son about blocking our friend's phone number and complaining us about cancelling our court, he asked us to get out of the property. The owner's son was behaving like a spoiled child, refusing to answer our questions and instead being provocative. This is their way of doing business 👏👏👏

I spoke to owner about poor air quality as the indoor facility is extremely humid. On the roof there are AC unit which are always turned off! Melati Mas will only turn it on during inspection so you can only find proof if there is a sudden visit. On the ground there are 1 small fan on every other court blowing hot air. I can not take a photographic evidence for air quality but there will be a case of a major health or related respiratory incidence in this indoor sport facility so i am gonna leave this review here. Owner is** EXTREMELY RUDE **as they feel people are forced to play here with no other badminton court nearby. I know there will be a response with denial and that it is my fault. I saw your responses towards other customers.

Owner is rude and has zero concern towards customer service. I had to call about 5x before someone actually picked up when trying to book a court. Also no answer again when I tried calling multiple times to cancel my reservation, but they had no problem calling me as soon as I didn’t show up on time. I wanted to explain I DID attempt to cancel my reservation, but owner kept rudely interrupting me to repeat his “policy”. How am I supposed to give 48hr notice of cancellation when I booked the day of? I had intentions of being a regular customer, especially with the winter season approaching - but the more I reflect on my experience with this company, the less I want to support owners which have no regards for their customers, on top of their constant increasing prices. I do not recommend this establishment if you care about which businesses you support.

Great badminton facility with 8 courts well spaced out. They are hosting Badminton Ontario Jr A tournaments this Saturday and Sunday, Apr 1st and 2nd.

The place has about 7 courts which can be used for badminton & pickle ball. The courts are clean, well lit though could use a bit more ventilation. My kids enjoy playing badminton indoors rather than outdoor and they enjoy using the feather shuttlecocks more than the plastic ones. Very easy to reserve courts (just call and reserve). Price is fair and they sell equipment and refreshments as well. There's washrooms available also. Being open from 10am to 10pm daily is good as you can set your schedules easily. Totally recommend the place.

The people are really nice!! The courts are really clean and was a pleasant place to play pickleball indoors or badminton honestly! There are some dead spots for pickleball but its really not too bad if it's your only option to book around this area!

Melati Mas is an excellent place to play. The courts are padded and the lighting is good. There is ample space around the courts for your belongings, spectators and even strollers. The owner and staff treat you like a friend. They are welcoming and even make an effort to remember your name. This facility is family friendly and encourages children to join. The courts are cleaned frequently and the washrooms are some of the cleanest in the gta. I would highly recommend this place for good exercise for the whole family.

Good place for badminton 🏸 and many number of courts gives wide space. Only problem is with lights & hard ground. The manager says that he is waiting on the land lord for the light fixtures of the entire place for past many months. He has 2 quotes but no action has been taken due to landlord's inaction. It blinds us sometimes & the exhaust fans hovering on top & block the high service. Otherwise, place is good individual courts are screened in between & blocks any sideways actions & helps you focus on yours. --------update ------ Light fixures are changed with LEDs now. It's better now.

8 clean well maintained badminton courts, 2 golf driving simulators and one table tennis table. Very busy during winter and lots of regulars. Booking in advance is a must as the place fills quickly. Richard the owner is particular about indoor footwear to be used on the courts so change into your indoor footwear only when you are at the location. A small party room and clean washroom’s are on site. The place is in a commercial establishment and can get quite hot in summer as there is no air conditioning due to the large area. As of September 2022, price to reserve a badminton court is $25 per hour (plus tax if paying by a card).

There's definitely a love and hate relationship with this sports center. The place is extremely spacious and really great if you'd like to have more than 4 people to occupy one court. However that comes with a heavy cost. The person on charge isn't exactly in his best mood always, so you'd wanna be very respectful and careful of the space.

We frequently visit this place to play badminton. The facility is clean and well kept. It is crowded during winter and fall but you will be able to get a court if you book in advance. The only con is the air conditioning is not well adjusted, sometimes its too hot.

An amazing place for badminton and having fun. I went to a Birthday Party and had a blast. The courts are very well maintained and the staff is also very friendly. The party room in the facility was very nice as well and I most definitely will be going here again in the future. Keep up the great work!!!!!!

It's definitely one of the better courts I've visited during pandemic in terms of precautions and the effort made to protect people visiting. Will only be allowed after checking vaccination passport. If you are visiting for the first time you will have to sign a waiver, which takes about 2-3 minutes. Usual name and phone number collection occurs of people who are visiting. I was there for badminton but the facility seem to accommodate more sports like tennis, volleyball and even a small virtual golf spot. All the individual courts are separated with sheets for further protection.

Melati Mas Sport club is a great place, clean and a friendly owner (Richard) that is always welcoming and likes to joke with us. We play 3 x a week and really enjoy the facilities. I highly recommend this place.

It is safely place for your kids to gain lessons here. If you just want to have a court to play normal game with your friends, you can rent courts at anywhere but if you want a safety environment and clean court for your family with kids, it is really safety to play here. The courts here is cleaned every day with protected courts. There are big protected gaps among these courts giving us more rest to have them place here. I know some others may not care about Covid anymore but how about other virus may affect to your kids? Sports place should improve your health, not cost more trouble.

Place looks good an well maintained. There is no AC and and more importantly there are no fans! It gets very hot on summer days. Be prepared. Their current pricing is very fixed and no incentive for repeating customers.

Well maintained courts, polite staff. The rates are fairly reasonable. Be careful/aware about their shoe policies, it's to protect the courts and the enjoyment of other players so I'm not bothered by the stricter codes. The place is barely 10 minutes way for me so I'm definitely visiting again.

Terrible service. Terrible conditions. Give this place a pass. Old man is out of this world rude... Place is really hot... Very little ventilation... Can't imagine how bad it is in the summer.

This Place is good to play safely as they covered individual grounds. Close to GO so few of my friends travel from other places easily & return. The owner or manager is sometimes funny & allocates a non-friendly location everytime. I think there's not much to do during these days.
