    Deceptive sales staff. Bought a washer. The salesperson swore up and down that the delivery and install will be no problem. That the delivery guys will help take the old washer and help stack the old dryer on the new washer. Well i paid for nothing. They refused. Said an installer needs to do it. Couldn't even take the old one away (which I paid for). Now i have a mountain of clothes to wash and a washing machine in my living room as decoration. Why the lies? Why? Just tell the truth and i would have paid for the installation. Do not trust their sales staff for appliances. They are trying to get the delivery guys to do the installers job, while lying to customers.

    The problem is that there are not enough associate available to assist you with any questions you may have. We needed help in the plumbing area and had to wait almost half an hour to get any proper help. On doing that staff is nice they need a better support system to ensure a more positive customer experience.

    I recently visited this Home Depot branch and had a disappointing experience with the customer service team, supposedly managed by Melinda. The team came across as unprofessional and poorly trained, which was quite different from my positive experiences at other Home Depot locations. Unlike my previous visits, where staff were focused on enhancing Home Depot's reputation and customer satisfaction, this location seemed disinterested in upholding the Home Depot brand's reputation. It felt like they were more interested in passing time than ensuring customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope that the manager of this Home Depot branch takes note of this review. Home Depot is renowned across North America for its commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction, and this unprofessional behavior could negatively impact the reputation of other professional Home Depot teams. It's crucial that this branch aligns with the Home Depot brand's values and works towards improving customer experiences.

    Doing shopping in this store at list for 7 years. Every time get everything that I need. Convenient prices, well-experienced staff. For example today I got help from the paint department. Prepared some paint samples, get excellent consulting about the kind of paint I looking for. Recommend for every customer who have any needs of tools, materials and everything for renovation. And sorry for my English.

    I have been to this store so many times for many different reasons that I think many of the sales associates know me by now. The store is very well organized, very well stocked, and very well-kept. The many signs help you find the appropriate aisle for the products you're looking for, and the staff are beyond kind, helpful, and knowledgable. It's a bit difficult to find an associate to ask for help at times when you're in an aisle, but let's be fair, they can't be everywhere at once, its a huge store. I also organized a home service through this store and I was highly satisfied with the communication and costumer service. Some products were unavailable in stock for my project, and I was told I'd be contacted when they receive the products. The store called me as soon as they got them and throughout the duration of the project, all my questions were answered throughly. And the staff even took initiative to check up on my order status and progress. Will definitely come to this store anytime I need something. Everytime I come here, I leave having had a positive experience. Thank you!

    The staff is more interested in chit chatting with each other than helping customers out. You can’t find any staff in the aisles, because they always stay together around the cashier to chat during the work. I guess the branch can let half of staff go without compromising their customer service as there was none service at all.

    I have never experienced such horrible support at this location as with any other Home Depot branch. My company typically pumps over $2,000 in sales to this location on a monthly basis. Getting through to a live person to discuss the status of an online order is next to impossible. You're transferred 5 times, the phone rings repeatedly, people pick up talk and then just put you hold and transfer you again. This is unacceptable customer service and poor demonstration of the brand I've given my business to over many years. You're store location should be ashamed of the way it conducts business.

    Does no one actually work here? I've been waiting in my car for a curbside order for half an hour after hitting the "I'm here" button twice and calling the phone number. No one picks up the phone. I'm just sitting here wasting gas keeping the car warmed. Update: I ordered a package of 25 concrete anchors, but when I got home and untied the top of the bag, I found out they gave me an opened pack that only had 20 in it. These crooks think they can scam me by pawning off their shrinkage on me.

    What a pleasure being at Home Depot at the right moment. Last minute stop to return something. No line up, straight to the return desk. Nice! And so friendly too. As I couldn't find my bill quickly, they gave me store credit, added to my current Home Depot card. Nice again. Heads up, as there is serious construction on the North entrance side/Steeles (weekends too), best to come and go by the south entrance.

    Personally and Professionally,🙇‍♂️🙇🏻‍♀️👍I have been coming to THIS home Depot for over 20 years it's near Central lumber across the street as well as other terrific vendor. Now I would encourage you to come to this home Depot not only because of its great central location but they always have terrific staff and have had to deal with many renovation experts for decades it's really one of the first and Best home depots that I've ever gone to and I used to work in a distribution center for Home Depot in the GTA well over a decade ago!! The Home Depot started in the USA but it's always done great.. Home Hardware Rona and other brands do it well, but Home Depot does have a versatile selection so make sure to check out all your options and stop by this great location... thanking the staff for their years of continued service to the community and professionals! 🇨🇦👏🙇‍♂️🙇🏻‍♀️👍🌅🏞️🌈😇🖖

    I had a great experience at Home Depot on 2375 Steeles Ave W. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide selection of products for my home improvement needs. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and gave me useful tips and advice. I was able to find everything I needed and more, and the prices were reasonable and competitive. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for quality products and services for their home projects.

    Well stocked and organized location. Staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. As most all Home Depots, you can never get through to them on the phone, and you can never depend on the inventory being accurate online to what there actually is in the store. Home Depot really needs to get on the ball on getting those phones answered, getting department's to answer their calls, and to adjust the inventory numbers online. Stop wasting customers' time. Give customer service.

    I recently had an experience shopping at Home Depot and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. While the store had a wide selection of products, the customer service was lacking. It was difficult to find staff members available to assist with questions or locate specific items. Additionally, the checkout process was slow and inefficient, with long queues and limited staff at the registers. I also encountered some issues with the quality of a product I purchased, and the return process was tedious and time-consuming. Overall, my experience at Home Depot was underwhelming and fell short of my expectations. I hope to see improvements in their customer service and overall efficiency in the future.

    Customer service excellence! Nothing replaces the human connection. KIEVAN, JANE AND NELLY, YASH were spectacular! Left a store as a raging fan of their customer service. Jane helped me locate the item, even though store policy would not allow her to help she still called a manager to see if there was anything thay could be done. Nellie and Yash at customer service made sure I didn't leave as an unsatisfied customer. Nelly in particular took some time to listen and sympathize while she asked for help from a MOD. Kievan came to ease the tension and empathize with me and his employees didn't throw them under the bus. Figured an acceptable compromise continued to build rapport with me and promote the brand. Would recommend dealing with people instead of automated voice messages with no sympathy. 10/10 service. This is all on a busy new years day!

    Really poor management. I have been waiting an hour to get a shower kit down and purchased and they are clearly understaffed. Choose another shop. Edit: I will say the employee Danny went above and beyond helping me in plumbing and loading my shower into my car. He saved it from being a completely horrible experience.

    I would like to recognize Lise D from customer service. I called bc my appliance was not delivered on the scheduled date. She made sure my issues were resolved by following up for 3 days with the transport company and rescheduling my delivery. She was diligent, polite, professional and very attentive. I would like see more of these types of ppl working in the customer service field, so that everyone gets this type of experience like the one I received from her. I purchased the part from this Home Depot- steeles & dufferin.

    Home Depot isn't the place to buy your kitchen appliances. When I was there in mid-December 2023, I met with a salesman and he pointed out two brands that he said were tops in the industry: LG and SAMSUNG. He further said I would be getting a $100.00 discount off the $1,844.00 price but that only applies if you sign up for their credit card. I was just about to buy the LG; my spouse had seen it the night before, when suddenly the salesman said that repairs are extremely expensive. His statement made me reconsider and I decided not to buy it. I wanted to go somewhere else to see more models. Next I went to a high end appliance store in the city and it's salesman told me that Home Depot is not an appliance store and he's right. It does not know the best makes and models available and he further stated that the LG brand was the worst refrigerator on the market. I then learned from him and his colleagues that: Whirlpool, Amana & Kitchen Aid are the best appliances to buy bc they have the fewest repairs. You will also want to stay away from buying Frigidaire appliances on account they have extremely poor customer service, that I know from having a Frigidaire oven and it has been one problem after another. The Home Depot salesman told me today's appliances are made to last about five to eight years. To me that is ridiculous. So at the other place we looked at many brands, two counter depth refrigerators were on sale for $1,187.00 but unfortunately were too small for our space and may fit your space. Then we moved on and learned about a brand from Australia that is made in Taiwan, available in Canada and is built to last TWENTY YEARS!!!!! Yes it is more expensive ($3,400.00) and with tax it was $4K. The original retail price is $6K. We liked this Fisher and Paykel brand and bought it. I believe this brand has been in Canada for about 4 or 5 years. I also found out that many appliance repair persons do not know how to fix this brand because they haven't been exposed to it. I went further doing my due diligence and I read many reviews online that stated the Fisher and Paykel brand was horrible, parts were hard to find and so on. The statistics however, from our salesman showed very good repairs in the thousands. So far so good, our refrigerator is silent > I never hear it running. It is spacious inside, a water dispenser is on it's front panel and when installing the water line it can be run from under your kitchen sink, even under your kitchen floor and doesn't need a hook up just at the rear of your unit.This company also gives you names of servicemen who will come and install the water line for you at a fair price. One things for sure is that Home Depot is out. And it will charge you $200 to remove your old appliance. In comparison, the other store removes it and takes it away for free. Bonus: while you decide what to do, the store we used sends you off to a nearby coffee shop to chat it over. The coffee & tea is complimentary as well as your breakfast, snacks. That was also really good customer service. Btw - the place where we bought our refrigerator has a sale from January 2nd to 17th, 2024 > it's save the tax. In addition it had unique refrigerators for vegans where you could convert half of the freezer into more refrigerator space for all your produce. Other refrigerators had cabinets. It was totally cool. The store name begins with my favorite letter "C". Good luck to all and happy new year!

    Had a very good experience during a recent visit, with many really helpful and friendly employees at this HD location. Had to process a price match for an item I was purchasing, and it was done as expected. In the process there was a bit of a mix-up with loading a wrong item into my cart. It was very close if not past their closing time, yet Kevian, Mustafo, David and Raghida all were very patient and helpful, helped us to take the wrong item back, load the correct one, process price match, and load the heavy item into our car. Many thanks to these people for their help! Unfortunately, I missed the deadline for the HD survey, but at least I'll post here.

    Today sept 19, 2023, always having hard time for return. I got a pump, few days ago, does not have suction. So i am returning or replacing the pump. Milenda, the person who takes the return, without checking the unit, said: our homedepot policy is not to take a tool, which has been used in an abrupt and aggressive language. I wish i could have given ZERO, for her customer service

    The customer service and support provided by Ravin in the Windows and Doors Department was exceptional. Ravin was very professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help with a long list of doors that I needed including fire doors and European design doors. It is this excellence in customer service that makes clients look forward to visit the store again, and makes the Customer Support Representative stand out from others.

    I am very upset. I came to make a copy of the keys in a hurry .. I asked the consultant, she told me to find another consultant, but did not say where, while I was catching up with the first seller, she told me this was not her department and I needed to find someone else, but did not say where. Left without a copy of the keys disappointed.They were friendly, but I didn't have time to look for the right department a third time.

    I never make reviews.. due to the service I received today I definitely had to. I came in a few minutes ago looking for help on tiles. I just recently purchased a home & I have no knowledge on tiles. I asked one associate to direct me to where the tiles were & he requested for someone to meet there. No one ended up being there, I asked 2 different associates that said they only work in plumbing. One very sweet older gentleman was trying to help me& his manager on duty “Tony” said “ try as best as you can. We don’t have anyone” he worked as a runner. I was in there for almost an hour with no service because the MOD couldn’t come help himself or even try sending someone who knew what to do. I am a general manager of a store myself & I can understand not having staff but at least have better customer service. I will not be shopping there again. Thankyou for that.

    This review is specifically about this location and it’s manager. I am usually happy with home depot products and services. But today i had really frustrating experience with the manager. After visiting 2 locations, this location seems to have 10 of product that i need according to their website.when i got there after driving 1 hour, manager told me they might have the item but they don’t have enough staff to look for it. And she was literally doing nothing but standing there. So her time to look for an item has more value than my 1 hour driving time. She wasn’t even looking at me when she talks. Basically she doesn’t care about customer’s complain. I called home depot customer service several time with no luck to talk to someone regarding that issue. I hope this review will be seen by customer care team and they start fixing their service issues.

    I’ve heard so many complaints about the lack of initiative taken by the management team here in terms of training their staff properly, such a shame because I wanted to refer someone to work here. Management needs to do better at ensuring their employees are knowledgeable and comfortable in all departments they are assigned to. Doesn’t make sense to have someone working in an area if there’s no support! Next steps should be taken to their head office, maybe then they’ll smarten up.

    I like this branch of Home Depot, organized store with affordable prices. Some aisles are a little bit messy, I asked the reason and they said it's due to renovations. I wanted to purchase from Flooring department and needed some plumbing stuff as well. Keivan was very helpful and friendly, big shout out to him for his great customer service.

    This is my normal Home Depot that I come to always. But today I had a very rude agent at the appliance section. He had customer ahead of me, agreed, I was willing to wait, but he wanted me to go and not wait my turn. When I am waiting patiently he has no patience for me. I wanted a over the counter microwave. He was the only person that help me. During our conversation I tell him that I need to pickup a microwave. His response was why don’t I just go pickup what I want pointing to the directions of the aisle. I needed help, I said I can wait. I don’t need him to dumb it down for me to go get what I want. I don’t know if anyone would be interested in my complain but it is what it is. But this was on Friday evening around 7:00 pm on July 15th, 2022 Aisle 13. But at the same time there we’re 3 other agents who was the nicest and helped me out, they were not appliance specialist. Rating my experience given the other 3 agents I am giving 2 stars, else it would be 1 (since 0 is not possible)

    I cannot believe the lack of help that we received today- at this point, i'm not even talking about customer service. Apparently basic civility and knowledge of where merchandise are stored are not required of this Home Depot's employees. We went up to a staff member in the power tools aisle, said "excuse me, could you please help us find something". The guy didn't even look away from the screen in his hands. Througout the conversation he did not even move his head to look at us. At least pretend you know basic manners, dude. We asked another staff member if he could direct us to someone who could answer questions about lawn mowers. He looked COMPLETELY lost, as if he didn't know what lawn mowers were. Eventually he pointed us to a teenager with flags and said go ask him. Ultimately we walked out without a lawn mower because we couldn't find anyone who could answer our simple questions. I've never ever encountered such rude and useless service anywhere before. Why hire people at all if they're just taking up space. Very reluctant to buy anything from this location ever again.

    I was disappointed with this HD location, disorganized and the majority of staff were lacking in basic customer service. From more than 50 different Home Depot stores visits, I can tell from my own experience this place ranking the bottom 1-3%. I will never stop at this location again, and the Home Depot headoffice should seriously consider closing down this location and fire most incompetent employees.

    I had to exchange a pair of gloves for the right type. I have the receipt. But because I used a gift card they offered to give me a in store credit which I was ok with to apply to the right gloves I needed, but the store credit came up the last sale price. As the clerk explained. My receipt clearly shows paid 20.00 the last sale is 18.00. I know it is only 2.00 but it's the principal. Why didn't they just price override the credit not to be 20.00 like my receipt shows that I paid. The guy at the returns desk did nothing to help me. He just seemed to be annoyed that I was there.

    First time at this location. Dropped by to pick up 14 bags of mulch and grateful for Ashley’s help. She got everything on a pallet and brought out 28 cubic feet of mulch to my car for loading. She was friendly and professional - and I got mulch at a great price 👌🏽 overall very happy 😊

    NELLIE is AMAZING!!! I shop at the Dufferin/Steeles location several times a week, and have been doing so for many years. I have to say that I receive nothing but the BEST service from NELLIE. She always has great recommendations, and always ensures that I am TOTALLY SATISFIED. She always takes it upon herself to go above and beyond. She is so pleasant, and extremely efficient - Home Depot Dufferin/Steeles is exceptionally fortunate to have her as an employee. I visit other Home Depots in and around me, but have not found anyone to be as capable as Nellie - She gets the job done right the first time, every time. I look forward to seeing her whenever I visit the store because I know I'm going to receive an exceptionally high level of service. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention other helpful people like Joe, Kenn, Heather, Saul, and Suhail. Nellie does an extremely admirable job of often acting like a liaison between her and these staff members, and many, many others. Thank you Nellie, Michael M.
