TL;DR: Good at first but the staff is not patient with your pet if your pet doesn't like going to the vet (which pet does?). Go to a vet who will care and take time to treat your pet. Our initial few visits were pretty good and the staff were very nice. But the recent visits were a nightmare. The doctors want your pet to be in and out and won't take the time to actually be patient and give your pet additional time if their condition and behaviour requires it. They care more about suggesting the easiest and/or most expensive treatment instead of actually going through all possible solutions. We went in for a consultation and treatment for my cat with an issue with his nail. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes actually trying to look at my cat and suggested he needed a procedure under anesthesia and booked our appointment & gave us our estimate. On the day of the procedure, the cat was supposed to be fasting but given that information wasn't provided to us during the consultation, the appointment had to be cancelled. We took my cat to another vet and the other vet took the time and waited until my cat was comfortable around her and did the treatment on the spot. No need to wait for another appointment for a lengthy procedure or any anesthesia. I trust that all doctors are competent at what they do but what the other doctor did differently was that she took the time with my pet. Instead of immediately dismissing my pet when he wasn't comfortable or aggressive around her, this vet took her time with him and gave him the love and kindness he needed until he was comfortable. I am very disappointed with the rush nature of our consultation with the Lacoste facility. I do not recommend.

I brought my 9-week old puppy Rupert in after he had an unfortunate fall right on his tiny head. I called in a panic and was far less than gracious on the phone. I made unreasonable threats to Amer (excuse my spelling), but she was still gracious and kind, something I didn't deserve. I was so pleased with the care I was provided. The vet was more than kind to take the time to explain that my puppy was okay, and gave me great advice! Thank you for calling back, even when I was hysterical and gracious enough to see my puppy so quickly! Also- the cost was very reasonable, and I was able to take my puppy home confidently knowing he was okay! I will certainly be recommending your services to my friends!

I was going to this vet for almost 2 years... but I recently switched because I am not satisfied with their service. Firstly, when he got his initial puppy shots, they asked for the folder where it showed the breeder got his shots, they never gave that folder back even though we called and requested it. We kindly called and asked for it, they gaslighted us and said they never took it...but then how else did they verify that our dog had his shots? Mind you, this was during COVID and we were NOT allowed inside with our own dog. Secondly, they said my dog's (at the time puppy) B.U.N (related to the kidney I believe) was out of range...they provided some supplements and then when they checked again, they changed the range...I was very confused. I requested his blood work, where I saw that they changed the range of where his B.U.N needed to be. So, I guess his B.U.N was actually 'normal' but they made it seem like it wasn't. Thirdly, one tech said my dog was not overweight while the vet said he was, they were both very inconsistent with one another and I found that confusing as an owner. In addition to these incidents, they never checked up on my dog when he had an ear infection or anything...I felt as though they did not care about me or my dog and just wanted to get the money. We took my dog to the hospital after they provided a medication that made my dog vomit and they never even thought to call and make sure their dog patient is fine? I find that very concerning. I gave them my time to change this experience but they failed. I now go to a vet that's further away but I'm having a much better experience. I would recommend doing your research and talking to others before choosing this vet but I personally have stopped recommending them.

They unnecessarily said my dog needed a booster dose of vaccination. Just money making tactics. When we checked with another Hosp, they said a booster dose was unnecessary. The vet barely even checked my dog or made her feel comfortable. Will never visit again.

Rude and unprofessional receptionist. Been coming here last 6 years and I won't be returning. Walked in, no greeting or even a word said. She had an attitude for no reason whole time. Think her name was Sharon not sure, but learn alittle professionalism.

Terrible clinic a bunch of thieves looking to take advantage of peoples emotions. Terribly overpriced to provide mediocre services. Please avoid at all costs

Doctors and the rest of the staff is great! Quickly looked at my pet dog, figured the cause, prescribed the medication. 3 days and my dog is healthy again! I definitely recommend them to others too

I took my baby Lilly during the emergency hours. I found them extremally professional and helpful. Dr. Kirat Bajwa is very knowledgeable and absolutely amazing with the fur babies. I highly recommend this place overall but especially for Emergency hours for sure.

I’ve been using this vet for my current dog (standard poodle) and previous (lab x GSD) and loved it as well always felt welcomed, informed, and as part of the care happening. On our most recent experience, the vet tech and vet were great but the rest of the staff were quite cold? Not too sure why, we walked in and were not greeted by anyone. We were told to wait in the lobby after the assessment and had no one come up to us for over 15 minutes (no other clients/dogs came in through the door in this time). Staff would walk through the lobby and simply ignore us - all we needed to do was pay for our eye drops. A bit disappointed as I was convinced I had found the perfect vet clinic in Brampton but unsure now.

I’m very impressed with the care my dog received at this vet clinic. All the staff were so friendly, professional and they knew exactly how to handle my dog who can be quite nervous with strangers.

Dr. Kanwar is amazing. He always makes us feel so comfortable. He’s knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly before taking any action. The staff is so patient and helpful.

Lacoste Animal Hospital is the best. The physicians are the best. The staff is the best. My boxer receives a higher level of care every time we go. Words cannot express the kindness, love and affection that each staff member gives to my dog.

I want to thank the awesome staff. We had our family dog admitted few weeks ago and the care was second to none. Nothing could have been done any better. Thank you from the bottom of our heart!

I had to bring my cat in for a routine check-up and the staff at this animal hospital were fantastic. They were gentle and patient with my cat, who can be a bit skittish, and they provided excellent care. I would definitely bring my cat back here in the future.

I brought my dog here for artificial insemination did all the testing needed spent a bunch of money which the doctor recommended we did two inseminations we brought our stud the doctor couldn't even get the Seaman himself we should have took this as a sign.... so I wasted money on the stud as well. The second time she was inseminated he couldn't find the camera device to do it properly all in all horrible experience tons of money wasted for no results doctor might be book smart but definitely not hands on very disappointed and I will be taking my dogs elsewhere

They did and excellent job helping our new pup during her vet visit. Trying to keep things low stress is VERY important to me and our pup. They were spot on with diagnosis and I’m glad to be a client.

We have been taking our cats and dog to this wonderful place for long years. They are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. Their equipment is top of the line and on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.

The Vet and staff are amazing. My Luna is a difficult one during vet visit. She hates them. The team manages to take her in and make things as quick and smooth as possible. During this year she needed to get extra shots and a tooth extractions. Everything went smoothly and they went over everything well. So far ive been with them for over 2 years and Its great how the team is on top with calls when it comes to appointment reminders, updates on test, or follow ups. (Their emails helps a lot too). Thanks for the help team.
