Interesting museum, slightly chaotic I mean when you are going through you see mixed epochs, cultures and so on. Worse to see Nefertiti as she was exceptionally gorgeous!!! Kids under 18 are for free. Pay attention that due to covid tickets can be bought only online!

Absolutely loved visiting this museum. I am always interested in any place that exhibits Egyptian art and artifacts. You can see the museum in an hour but if you have time, there is enough to keep you interested long-term.

Very interesting museum. The most interesting was Egypt artifacts, especially Nefertiti. There is no difference in buying tickets online because there is one queue for everyone. You can have small bag but rucksack you need to left in cabinet in main lobby. In music you can spend more than 2 hours so take your time. I recommend also audio guide set because there is so manny details that the whole experience will be better.

Wunderbares Museum. Beeindruckende Raumaufteilung. Beindruckende Ausstellungsstücke. Das Highlight ist natürlich Nofretete. In meinen Augen ein unvergleichliches Meisterwerk. Sehr !!! freundliches Personal in allen Abschnitten. Hilfsbereit. Geduldig.

Great variety of Items from Egypt. Worth the €18 price, even better at €9 if in the military and book online. The staff are a bit aggressive and maybe even rude, look past that at a great museum (€18 is for the 5 on the island). It’s a full afternoon, but worth it.

The Egyptian Museum of Berlin is home to one of the world's most important collections of ancient Egyptian artefacts, including the iconic Nefertiti Bust. Since 1855, the collection is a part of the Neues Museum on Berlin's Museum Island, which reopened after renovations in 2009

(Translated by Google) A common ticket for museums is about 25 €. Cards are accepted. Sold in the eastern part of the Pergamon Museum. Free English pamphlet with highlights. The famous Nefertiti bust is in the middle of a private room. In 1345 BC, when the sculptor Thutmose made an actual statue of Nefertiti in old age, the queen got angry and asked her to paint a statue of her early 30s on top of it. The quartz in the left eye is lost. Indoor photography is prohibited. There are a lot of Egyptian caskets. There is also a luxurious casket with gold leaf on the upper body. There are many burial items such as goldwork, alabaster and agate. There were many cute cat gods in the semi-basement. The museums are something you want to spend a day looking at.

Beautiful museum. Because I am Egyptian i just felt a bit sad. Because I saw many Egyptians statues in Berlin and i think they should find way to give it back to Egypt. And if there is statues in Egypt belong to other country. Egypt should give it back too. I think it's a respect and the right for each country to get their historical monuments.

Definetly worth the visit! The museum is beautiful, full of different objects from this amazing civilization. To me, the best part was being able to see pieces of the tombs placed to form the rooms where the sarcophagus stayed. If you like to visit other museums inside the island, there is an unified ticket.

The Egyptian Museum at the Neues Museum in Berlin Germany is worth visiting to see specific pieces. The museum itself is important to understand the interior as it relates to its existence after the war. Be sure to pick-up your audio guide which is included in the general ticket price. Unlike many museums in other countries this museum does not offer a reduced rate for older visitors.

I would like to commend the museum staff for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication. They were always ready to assist and share their knowledge, making the visit even more enriching. Their passion for Egypt's cultural heritage was evident in every interaction, and their efforts to preserve and educate the public about the significance of these artifacts are truly commendable. In conclusion, the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection left an indescribable impact on me. It is a testament to the rich history and cultural legacy of Egypt. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone seeking a profound and enlightening experience. Thank you for preserving and showcasing Egypt's ancient wonders in such a magnificent way.

Beautiful! The place had no good guidance or directions where we should go. The only was to go up was by a small and super slow elevator, we waited 15 minutes and gave up. Got to see only the fist 2 floors. Too bad such a nice place not really accessible.

Great museum with vast collection of egyptian past. The sculptures and all collection are amazing. The exhibition is easly guided by audio guide in many languages provided for free for all. Kiddos under 16 go free. All 3 levels will take your day so prepare for a great adventure in there. The old books of maths or medicine or magic are great lesson for all. How little progress we did over 5k years :)

Big museum that showcases all the ancient art, specially around Egypt. They have an impressive Nefertiti head that is just breathtaking to see. The café has a nice selection of cakes and snacks, however is not worth it for lunch - massive prices on fast food.

A bit confusing entry as staff didn't seem to speak English when asking us to leave out bags at coat check. You'll need a few Euro coins deposit to do this at a locker btw. Other than that, exhibits were extensive and informative, laid out an a great spacious way over several floors. Audio guide headsets were available. This museum is included in a 3 day pass you can buy online that works at museums all over the city.

Then the most precious thing was the bust of Nefertiti. The air in that Space crackled to look at great moments with some people so devoutly and to hear what the guite tells you about them. Nice people who work there. Many thanks also to the Egyptian who welcomes everyone at the door.
