Hundeplatz Wriezener Park

Dog park

😠 It felt like the most pointless and useless areas in Friedrichshain were chosen to create dog parks. Unfortunately, these are just as useless for dogs! Here you have a fenced area, but the fence is so low (80cm) that even small dogs can jump over it with a little running. Both gates cannot be closed... People often mention park,

One star is still too many. It is also often used as a human toilet. Hard disgusting!! Thanks for nothing. It's best to walk past.

Like most in the area, this place smells like food and the fence is too low. But the gates only open inwards, so the animal cannot get out on its own without a (not difficult) jump. There are two benches and a trash can.

Dear potential visitors to the Wriezener Park dog park, contrary to what the name and reviews suggest, this park is not a dog park. On the contrary, we discovered a very pleasant place. Well, in a quiet place in the bustling and noisy city, with many opportunities for sporting activities, that is the Wriezener Park. We found a few moments of peace after an extensive evening. But I don't only have praise. There is a lack of green space, for example for a cozy picnic, and that in Berlin, which is actually such a green city. Now you can experience a brief moment of relaxation from the stressful metropolitan life here. I give it three stars 🌟🌟🌟

It felt like the most pointless and useless areas in Friedrichshain were chosen to create dog parks. Unfortunately, these are just as useless for dogs! Here you have a fenced area, but the fence is so low (80cm) that even small dogs can jump over it with a little running. Both gates cannot be closed, there is no door handle, lock or anything similar. Half of the area is just bushes and therefore you can't really use the specified 1000 square meters. I would be more worried here that my dog would find something toxic that I couldn't see. There are many other unused areas in Friedrichshain that could be converted into dog walking areas. Very unfortunate. As if you did it just to show the dog owners that you cared.

Here you simply have to provide a place for dogs somewhere. If you did it, that was it. After that it doesn't matter what happens to it. The fence is far too low, the place is completely neglected, 3/4 overgrown, one of the two entrances can no longer be found, there is feces (not from dogs) and garbage that belongs in the bin and not in any bushes where dogs can injure themselves or even eat the wrong thing. Thank you for NOTHING district government Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. I would like to give -1000 stars. To a reviewer: the “Wriezener Park” dog park is about the fenced area in the park and not the entire park. The 3 stars are far too generous for this dump!
