Would like to spend a day in the Spreewaldtherme. We arrived in a motorhome and were horrified to discover that you are only allowed to park on the designated parking spaces (markings) in the season from May to October. Even parking during the day is generally prohibited. After calling the tourist information center I was told the same thing. There was more than enough space in the parking lot and people were willing to pay a fee like in the “season”. Who is supposed to understand something like that and what is the point of it! Of course we went back and will not visit the Spreewald again with such hospitality. It works somewhere else too. Thanks to the city of Burg and the entire Spreewald.

Fantastic village in Spreewald to enjoy the nature in silence. Good gastronomic offer.

The agents were very kind and patient. They were able to secure a vacation house for us rather last minute, we were not able to find any free accommodation for 3 for a reasonable price but they were able to find us one just outside burg!

In lockdown times there is enough space for potential visitors 😉 .... Since we visited Lübbenau (Spreewald with its beautiful rivers, Lehde, etc.) directly beforehand, we were less enthusiastic about Burg. I was missing beautiful plants... splashes of color 🤓...

It's completely okay as information. You will receive good advice and get the information you want. The staff is nice.

Been to the castle by bike. Then into the information and an extremely nice young lady told us the most important sights in Burg. She gave us a bike map and showed us the way back. Had a nice conversation and left satisfied. Thanks to the young lady!

On the right is brown... And who wants to spend their vacation in brown? Cosmopolitanism would be so important, especially for a tourist location... On the right is the biggest risk for locations in the east... No modern company wants to invest money in a brown area. So fight for your area! Fight against the right! Because when the right-wingers are in charge and that becomes clear, then you will be dragged down with them. I wish the constitutionally loyal democratic citizens all possible courage and success!
