Love love love this place. Lovely Japanese cafe with delicious cakes and tea. I do miss the old lunch menu and the ‘drei farben box’ which they no longer have on the menu :( They also have a tea shop next door and you can order whole cakes from the cafe for takeaway at a fair and reasonable price through their website.

The staff and owner is Japanese, so we decided to give this place a try as they claim to be “authentic”. But the staff ended up being rude and the place is definitely overrated! The food quality is very poor and the dishes were also not clean. The entire is very messy and hard to enjoy anything with the long queue filling up 80% of the space. Very stressful experience!!!

If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, you absolutely must check out this cafe! Their matcha latte is simply amazing - it's creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. But that's not all - their Bento-boxes for lunch are just as impressive. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. There are very busy hours, so I recommend patience, it's worth it.

one of the best spots in Berlin, I highly recommend it! the bento box is fantastic and delicious, especially the tofu and miso soup. the crepe cake was the best I’ve had in Berlin. the tea was incredible, you can refill the water to brew it again. overall amazing food and very pleasant atmosphere, I’ll 100% visit again.

Real Japanese people working here, it was a nice experience, I enjoyed listening staff speaking Japanese to each other. This place was packed on Saturday and all cakes were sold out already by 4 p.m. So I had to buy the last option that was left. If you want to try authentic Japanese tea from their tea pots - this place is worth to visit. They make cakes, tea, cookies, coffee from matcha, if you are a matcha lover - you should visit. Payments under 10€ must be in cash. Cakes are around 4-5€ , tea and coffee around 4-6€ .

One of my favourite places in Berlin. Amazing desserts and nice tea. Not expensive at all. Matcha crepe cake is a must try.

Food: 4/5 Green tea latte (sencha and hojicha) were really good. Nicely done. Onigiri was a bit bland. Service: 5/5 Straightforward and polite, very nice.

Matcha chocolate cake, genmaicha and hojicha latte are amazing! The vibe is great. Bentos were disappointing but alright for the price: portions were small, pork can be softer.

The atmosphere was marvelous! Seriously, I liked this place so much because of the atmosphere, even though the food, which I ordered, wasn't impressive at all. The cake wasn't special and, personally, i didn't like it, but my mom was fascinated by it! So it's a matter of taste of each individual. Tea was fine! I regret not ordering bento or something more authentic. Maybe if i had done it, I would have been a little bit more pleased with this café. But anyway, it's a good place :)

Ordered my birthday cake here and the service was amazing! They always replied to my emails and wishes really quickly and the cake turned out beautiful. Would definitely order again.

This place is filled with such love and charm, walking in gave me the biggest rush of excitement. I first ordered the Tori Karaage Bento that comes with miso soup, two salads, and rice. The bento was delectable, every component was amazing and I found myself devouring all the dishes. Then, I ordered a hot matcha latte which was amazing, creamy, not too sweet and the hot matcha flavor cut through an otherwise depressing rainy day. The Hojicha teapot was an experience, allowing us to re-pour our own tea, fragrant and balancing, perfect for pairing with their deserts. And finally, in my opinion what was the star of the show, the milk creme matcha layer crepe cake. This was spectacular. The matcha crepe layer to milk creme ratio was absolutely spot-on. As the layers and creme melt and unite in your mouth, your day can’t get better than this. The Japanese ladies running the shop were very nice and put a smile on my face with ease. I would come here every day if I could.

This authentic hidden gem is perfect for a quick lunch or a tea break or just desserts. If you are considering the miso soup, just order it, is actually home made and delicious + it accompanies perfectly the very well balanced bento boxes. You might want to leave space in your stomach for dessert, it’s just hard to pick only one.

The cakes are GREAT! Love the matcha flavored brownie! 👍🏼 It's very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Mind you it's not that type of quiet little cafe to enjoy some alone time reading, because it's full with people chatting loudly and one should expect a queue.

Came here with very high expectations and got a little bit disappointed. It is overall a nice place, the staff was very kind, the atmosphere was nice. Sitting outside was very pleasant. On the other side I did not enjoy my matcha latte very much and the food was great but by far not exceptional. Compared to other spaces it seems to lack a little bit of extra love. Very hip obvs though! So if you want to be among cool people you are at the right place ;) They also allowed me to work on my laptop, which was very kind!

I forgot the name of the cake I ordered, maybe .... mame cake? It has a layer of tapioca flour (I guess?) on the top which makes it a special but nice taste. An only difficulty is that the layer is too sticky to be cut. The matcha latte with soy milk is okay but not as well as it was years ago. I don't rate the service since it is more like the way you order things in Starbucks, customers have to go to the cash desk to order and take their food to a table. So, generally no service. Please note that the cafe is not a quiet place where you can focus on your own things (no wifi) or even read a book. It is small, crowded, full (you even need to wait in queue in rush hours) with narrow pathways and just as chaos as a wet market. But if you enjoy meeting friends with everyone talking super loud around you, it is a perfect place.

Sehr angenehmer Laden!

This cake had a satisfying texture and nice not-too-sweet flavour, with matcha crepe layers brightened up by the cream layers. Matcha cappuccino was also tasty with a natural sweetness to it, not bitter at all.

Their rollcake is to die for! Always coming back for their onigiris too. Matcha latte can be so much better tho, the powder is not whisked properly so it’s clumpy everytime, only thing I’m missing from this gem.

Green Tea Cafe Mamecha is a cozy Japanese cafe. The cafe is a great place to enjoy matcha-based beverages and desserts, and they also offer a selection of bento boxes for lunch. Their matcha lattes are made with high-quality matcha and are smooth and flavorful. The matcha cheesecake is also delicious, with a rich and creamy texture. Mameecha can get crowded on weekends, so it's best to go during off-peak hours if you want to avoid long waits. Overall, Green Tea Cafe Mamecha is a great place to enjoy a taste of Matcha dessert and Japanese tea in Berlin.

We had the tofu bento with miso soup. Tried all the mochi, the matcha caramel cookie and the matcha latte + the hojicha latte. It was all very delicately flavoured. The tofu stake was surprisingly flavoured. Not in a cliche manner. Bento isn’t a huge amount of food but it suits the price. Nice for a light lunch. The matcha is of good quality and so was the hojicha. We have bought the 2 bags in the teashop next door. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Greatest Matcha Latte in Berlin. The cakes are also tasty. This place is very crowded on weekend so I don’t really like the atmosphere

Really like the Matcha chiffon and Hojicha Latte here. The Matcha chiffon might taste a bit strong for somebody who is not familiar with Matcha in my opinion. I appreciate that the shop offers exotic food with affordable price. The tea my bf tried was also good (I just don’t remember the name). At peak hour (4-6pm) it was a bit loud, since the shop is small.

Amazing Japanese Cafe with excellent prices on their delicious cakes! The matcha latte and traditional matcha is amazing too! 🍵 very authentic and very friendly… would definitely recommend 😍

Incredibly nice staff, the Matcha Cappuccino and the pastries were good. There is a 10€ minimum order if you’re paying by card so watch out for that.

So many Matcha and tea desserts to select, definitely recommended for tea fans, especially those who enjoy and like japanese tea products and culture. They also served bento box and japanese onigiri, all at very affordable price!

Nice place for a coffee break. I ordered a piece of pumpkincake with cappuccino and it was amazing! The street is not so busy, which makes the tables outside very attractive. Overall, the place has a zen and positive vibe. Attention! Card payments only above €10.
