Edit: Changed review from 5 to 3 stars Just tried the restaurant again yesterday. The beef ribs got smaller and way more expensive. It was nothing like what I tried last year. The ribs were dry and bitey, literally struggling to get it down my throat, I don't know what happened? I'm so disappointed. The pastrami sandwich and sides were still on point though. Not for vegetarians nor for the faint hearted. This restaurant offers proper BBQ for all the meat lovers out there. They serve various types of BBQ such as beef ribs, short and long pork ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork. Make sure not to miss their beef ribs as they are our of this world, best price/quality ratio I have seen so far in Berlin. There is also a variety of starters and side dishes, which I tried most of them and were delicious. Mac and cheese was so creamy and cheesy, the corn dogs had the perfect crunch texture to them, the fries hot, salty and crispy, and the Krautsalat with pickled cucumbers felt refreshing with all the meat. They also serve a dish for two people which has a bit of everything, I believe it can be very convenient to order if one is in doubt what to order. In the menu you can also order a pulled pork or a pastrami sandwich. Next time, I must try the pastrami one. Make sure to reserve in advance, and don't come so late for dinner, the good meat runs out fast. Till next time!

Great meat, had some good Corndogs and still trying to finish that beefy burger while downing a lager. Great menu with meat cooked in slow cooker and a well stocked bar. Various beers and whiskeys on the card.

Nice restaurant. Very nice service. Unfortunately only English language. Got a table spontaneously. We had the mix platter for 2. Everything was very tasty.

Excellent BBQ! The meat was very tender and fell off the bone. The hot wings are the best I've had in Berlin! (And they were spicy!) Friendly and attentive service.

Wonderful! We moved here from Texas and we approve! Great pulled pork and macaroni and cheese! Was going to take picture before, however I was too hungry! 😀

The chicken wings were good, but the macaroni was mushy and used the German Nudeln noodles instead of actual macaroni. The corn dogs at the end of the day are just mushy hotdogs, not worth trying to make into a real dish.

That pulled pork burger…the reason why I came and betrayed my fitness coach 😂😂 It was 99% percent perfection. Fluffy, soft meat, great bread, some sweet apple element. Amazing, that first bite was like biting a pillow of taste and meat joy. I would add something crunchy though for the play of texture - friend onion on the top of the bun or cashews… But anyway, it was amazing 🥹 The pastrami sandwich - giant, amazing bread, lots lots of meat, really tasty side pickles❤️ The place is definitely oriented on meat and it delivers. The meat is great there. Though it prevails in all the dishes. I love the big portions of meat, but I would probably go look for something more balanced. Service, drinks - everything is ok. Nice location. Average prices.

Excellent restaurant for Burger and ribs. We ordered the BBQ mixed plate for two and it was definitely worth it. Only issue was that at 10pm the kitchen closed and we didn't know and planned to order something. Recommend to tell your guests in advance. That aside, service was excellent and we enjoyed the evening!

Not a single proper vegan/vegetation option (only 2-3 sides) this is in contrast to one of the menu photos on Google which said there was a veggie burger but there was none. My family had a nice dinner and I felt miserable.

The food is tasty, but the price-performance ratio is somehow not right. Ribs without fries or something similar is just too dry and should actually be included in the price. We then had to order everything separately. The chicken wings were a little too crispy for my taste, so the delicious glaze didn't really come through. The tables could have been positioned a little better so you don't have to feel the cold gust of wind every time the door opens and closes.

Simply brilliant! The beef ribs were some of the best tasting and tender pieces of meat I've ever had! The dim lights and music make up for a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Can't really recommend the place. Food's ok, but not for the price they ask. First time google let me down with the ratio of # of reviews to the overall rating. Ribs weren't good enough for the asked price. Nor was the portion big enough for the price. Only EC-card payments possible which, I thought, is a relict of Bavaria, not Berlin. The waiters need to be asked for the invoice twice; they also ask if you have hearing problems when you ask them what you owe them twice. But such smarties are probably unworthy of serving people food and beer, so those will probably leave soon. Pale ale's ok, though, and so is the music.

Rib dinner in a suitable ambience. We felt very welcome and the food was delicious. If you don't get enough here, it's your own fault.

Great restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was great. We had the mixed platter BBQ for 2 people and it was definitely enough. The meat was nice and tender and tasty. Only recommended!

A delight for meat lovers... The service is great, friendly, and accommodating. The ambience invites you to linger. Looks rustic and radiates cosiness. Small deduction...the benches you sit on are incredibly uncomfortable (a little lower would help). It's a shame that we weren't there on a "Citizen's Day" (Tuesday and Thursday)...we would have liked to try those too.

The service was great. But pay attention that you can pay only by cash and the kitchen is closing at 22:00 We ordered the ribs and the beef ribs. Both were perfectly done. The BBQ sauce makes all even better. The mac&cheese was good to my friend taste. I didn’t like it. The mash potatoes was with hard taste I didn’t like as well. Over all - good one and recommended!

Pastrami Sandwich 4/5 Spare Rib 3/5 Krautsalat 2/5 Mash 4/5 & Gravy 3/5 Ice tea 3/5 As it’s natural products spare ribs can vary, you have no influence on that but make the best out of it. Next time it could be a 5/5. My girlfriends pastrami sandwich was delicious. Krautsalat was ok, but too much salt, could use more acidity and depth. Mash was super tasty, unfortunately the gravy was bland. Absolute recommendation, quality is good and prices are reasonable.

When you walk into a Proper BBQ spot you can Smell it. Every time I think I have located a rib joint in Berlin I am seriously Bummed. The rack of ribs were smoked I don’t know when or where. Because there was absolutely No Smoke coming out if this Joint. The pulled pork was Mixed with the sauce which Instantly tells you that the Smoke isn’t relevant. Germans don’t understand That the smoking process Needs no sauce. The sauce is on the side and the meat Is the ‘Star’ Then let’s speak on the ribs, Once again I want the smoke… ‘All the Smoke’ Otherwise I’ll make them Myself in the Oven. p.s.The YouTube advert shows the ‘Smoke’ and a party I guess I missed. Again.

A very nice and good restaurant. The music was on point and the realm was cosy and calm. The food was delicious. We had the spear ribs and the hot and bbq chicken wings, we would recommend!!

The Cheese steak and pulled pork are really good. Potato wedges are OK. Cole slaw is a bit on the thicker side. The staff was very nice. Only the ribs where bad. Other than that I would recommend the place.

Best BBQ I ever ate! Plate for 2 with a mix of different meat. Everything was delicious and the homemade fries crunchy. Homemade Ice tea was also tasty and the staff pretty friendly.

Went with my partner last week and it was very disappointing, especially the service from one member of the staff (other staff members were alright). We had beef ribs, pulled pork burger, coleslaw, Mac & cheese. Here are the reasons we won’t come back: 1. We waited 20 minutes for our table to be ready although we had a reservation. 2. The waiter told us to “chill out” when we were ordering as he disapproved the amount of food. 3. He brought us non alcoholic beers instead of regular ones. 4. Pulled pork is just meet soaked in over-sweet BBQ sauce. 5. Beef ribs were really hard 6. To finish, they overcharged us 8€ with a mistake on the bill. We paid 66€ + 3€ tips for this experience.

I tried the spare ribs, Mac n’ cheese and corn soup and all is very tasty and good portions. I just ordered home delivery and I’m surprised how fast and warm all arrived. Definitely 5 stars!

Hopefully a very bad day from blackbeard crew. The pastrami sandwich was dry and chewy and taste was to much pepper. It wasn't bad but simply not enough for Berlin. Same goes for the pork rips - dry. Zero sidedishes with the 18€ ribs at all. Service was friendly, but totally overwhelmed and unorganized. We wait over 30 min for a simple drink after order. They should have at least four ppl. in service instead of two.

Absolutely incredible food! We got the BBQ for two, massive portions! Everything was delicious, couldn't fault it in any way. The hot wings are actually spicy too which is hard to find! Nice atmosphere inside too. They only took cash payments however, so be prepared!
