The
playground
at
Britzer
Höhe
/
Britzer
Berg
is
like
something
out
of
a
landscape
catalogue.
The
place
is
ideal
for
parents
with
children
who
are
not
yet
teenagers,
but
who
are
no
longer
really
interested
in
playgrounds
after
the
age
of
10.
You
give
them
a
skateboard
or,
in
winter,
a
sled
so
that
they
can
"try
out"
the
slope
a
few
times.
If
this
is
not
at
hand,
a
small
number
of
paper
airplanes
or
small
gliding
kites
are
also
available,
which
when
used
lead
to
the
Children
have
to
climb
the
mountain
a
few
dozen
times
and
come
home
in
the
evening
not
knowing
why
they
got
so
tired,
while
the
parents
spend
the
day
relaxing
with
a
"watchful
eye"
at
the
foot
of
the
Britzer
Mountain
at
the
café
with
coffee,
cake
and
beer
in
their
hands
have
enjoyed.
For
smaller
children
there
is
a
playground
near
the
café
with
jumping
mats
and
swings
etc.
The
park
chairs
and
loungers
sell
out
quickly,
especially
on
weekends,
but
it's
worth
bringing
your
own
folding
beach
chairs.
Parasols
are
not
necessary
thanks
to
the
large
shady
trees.
Swimming
is
not
allowed
here,
nor
at
the
other
lakes
in
the
Britzer
Garten.
If
you
want
to
go
to
the
water
with
children,
you
can
do
so
at
the
Blumenachse
playground,
at
the
source
of
the
Wiesenbach,
at
the
Lehmdorf
play
area
or
on
the
Wildspitz
hill
on
the
mountain
stream
away
from
the
remains
of
water
birds.
