I have been to many Indian Restaurants in the UK, USA & Canada but nothing compares to Le Raj. The atmosphere is rich and interior, eclectic with great design elements. The food is astounding with little oil every dish we had was perfectly seasoned & moreish. The staff are great, friendly, very helpful and highly professional. The chef's have perfected their art and this place deserves a Michelin Star. This establishment has ruined me for other Indian restaurants

Visited over Easter Haven't been since before lock down so was looking forward to our visit as its always a nice treat.... Food was as good as ever but the service was an absolute shambles from start to finish. Grumpy waiters and waiting a long time for drinks then when our mains came before our starters we were left a little bit confused 😕 After another long wait for more drinks and left hanging around for the bill that we asked for at least three times we could finally leave lol

There are not many restaurants we re visit but this 1 is the best Indian restaurant around. We have never had a bad meal always absolutely beautiful. Our 12 year old daughters favourite restaurant. Waiters are chatty and friendly. Restaurant is absolutely spotless. We always order coconut rice and it’s presented in a coconut shell when it arrives, which I think is such a lovely idea. Tasty, flavoursome meals always. Thank you

My advice...pre book a table! It's a popular resturant with nice cosy feeling, lovely decor and pleasant friendly staff. They offer both eat in, take away and also a pre order collect by drive through. We had a meal for 5, the food was lovely, well presented and fast service at a reasonable price. Each curry was full of delicious flavours and not filled with sugars or glow in the dark colourings as I've experienced in other Indian restaurants. It's the closest I've had to true Indian food. I really can't fault this place.

Stunned beyond belief! We have used this restaurant a number of times for a takeaway. Travelling a 40 mile round tip to collect and easily spending well over £50 a time. Tonight I rang for our usual order. The man who answered the phone was shocking and extremely rude, downright vile to be truthful. He ridiculed my order, acted like he didn’t have a clue what I was talking about (because I said Karahi chicken and not the correct Chicken Karahi !) made me repeat several times while he made fun of my perceived ignorance. I am not Indian I just like a good curry!! The experience got from bad to worse, leaving me quite upset by his lack of customer service and sheer offensive and abusive behaviour. I will never attend this place again under any circumstances. A business is only as good as the staff they employ. God help them!

Very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The sign out front displays an all you can eat buffet for £11.95. When we arrived in the restaurant we asked a member of staff if the buffet was available and we were told no. Not until we were offered 20 poppadoms for the table without being told they were £1 each. The drinks were poured from a plastic bottle behind the bar and cost £3 each, they were warm and not very pleasant at all. The main server for our table was very rude and had a very distasteful attitude towards us when we explained our confusion of the charge for the ‘complimentary’ poppadoms. And to top our experience off we were encouraged to leave our car at the car park all night for free, which we later discovered to be not true as there was a £45 parking fee! As a group we were extremely disappointed and will not be visiting again.
