If you delete my review like the others , I have time to keep coming back to place the same one. I’m not sure how they had a 5 star. Nice ladies , VERY MEDIOCRE food. Bland to say the least , the macaroni & rice/peas were hard , no seasoning what so ever ! The cabbage was good. The oxtails were OK. Overall , bad food. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. This is NOT authentic Jamaican food . As I travel to & fro for such. My first red flag was that I called , no answer , I went to check if they were open (3:00) the door was locked. As I got back to my car they welcomed me in with no one in the kitchen.. My second was that the food is already prepared waiting for a buyer in what seems like a Mcdonald’s heating lamp. Idk , i’ve never been to a place that stores food like that. Food had to be 3+ hours old. I’m guessing you’d have to get there earlier in the day , but I am HIGHLY disappointed in them. This plate was low vibrational & a disgrace to the jamaican food culture as a whole.

I've had a hard time finding a place with good fresh food. This place calls you back when your order is ready to be picked up, which you can't find anywhere. The jerk chicken is amazing, it's hard to tell it's even chicken, and THAT'S something. The sweet potato ice cream is a top ice cream of all time. Starters are fantastic, you could make a whole meal out of them. And all the food is cooked fresh every day, and you can tell it's with love. The service is unmatched, friendly, and helpful. Definitely recommend 6/5 stars

Amazing food!! This place is very clean and very well put together. Food was hot and fresh. Lastly i cannot say enough about how happy I am to go to a place that has quality food!!! Was also packaged beautifully!! I said I was done but also they serve smoothies and ice cream made with the top of the line ingredients.Also the gentleman who helped me informed there were options for people that want a smoothie that have blood sugar issues , where in Ocala could you find this? Very much worth a stop in to try the amazing food. I plan on going back for sure!!!

Please don't ever waste your time going to this restaurant if you're looking for a good meal.. the food is prepared God knows when.. and is served cafeteria style.. which means they keep the food under a warmer place it in the oven prior to you arriving in the restaurant and then serving it for you to eat.... This food is a disgrace to Jamaican food everywhere don't ever waste your money or time going there... I was greatly disappointed.. Ocala residents deserve a Jamaican restaurant that actually serves good Jamaican food....

AMAZING FOOD!! Service was great. Atmosphere was good. Music was fabulous. We had jerk chicken and oxtail and the amount was just enough! If you are around this restaurant, don’t think, just come and eat. Suggestion: jerk chicken, Oxtail and curry goat!

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and we loved it! There's a few tables, to eat inside and a clean cheerful atmosphere. He has the jerk chicken plate and I had a vegetarian plate (except for a bean dish that had cod fish, I think, which was very good). The curry chickpeas are some of the best I've ever had, while the peas and rice as well as cabbage were on-par with every other Jamaican place I've tried. We were most recently in Jamaica earlier this year and felt like the flavoring was spot on. Also, be sure to try the sea moss lemonade, made fresh to order! It's not overly sweet and is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious plate of food. Let's make sure this place stays around Ocala!
