I do not recommend anyone to this location. I've brought my boys here several times. My boys are very well behaved and always sit still for haircuts, which they did here as well. They stylists are not kid friendly, and even left them with sections of hair that were not cut, like around their ears. I stopped in here about 2 weeks ago for myself. My hair is very long, straight, and all one length. I asked for 15" cut off, which would make it shoulder length. The gentleman had no tools at his station and kept having to leave to get basic things, like a spray bottle, scissors, a mirror. He just seemed unprepared. He didn't even have his license displayed at his station, which I thought was a requirement. He took about 10 minutes to cut, talking the whole time about my gray hair and how to cover it. I am perfectly fine with my gray and at no point did I ask for advice on covering it. Once he was done, instead of my hair being all one length at the shoulder, it was very choppy and uneven with the left side being 3-4" shorter than the right side, and the front being longer than the back. I didn't want him to go any shorter to correct it, since I just had 15" cut off and he seemed incapable of cutting a straight line. So I just paid and left. Very disappointing, I will not go back.

This was the 3rd time I went in. The first 2 times was great. Stylists took the time to style my hair with care. My hair is very thick and takes time to cut. The last time I went in the stylist didn't wash my hair and literally started taking chunks and cutting. Complaining that they are paid per how many cuts they do. When she blow dryer my hair she didn't even use any protection spray for ends. She ruined my hair in giant chunks. Looked like my hair was cut with a chain saw. I complained and manager tried to fix it. I'm still not happy. It's so short now to fix the chunks it won't lay right or anything. I will never go again

The woman Rosa did not listen to me about how I wanted my hair cut ! She is too busy telling me who she is and that she "got it"!!! She wet my hair before I could say no! My hair was clean and ready to be cute, The experience was terrible 😩 😫 🙃 did not do a good job. I had to get my hair re trimmed!!!

Please do not EVER come to this location if you want a nice, or even half decent, hair cut. Rosa cut my hair and did the absolute worse job I’ve ever received for a hair cut. When the owner of this location was contacted she was extremely unpleasant and not very helpful. Pictures don’t lie!!! Please do not step foot into this Great Clips!

Checked in online, arrived early. Staff finished up their clients and apparently decided to take a break. One started discussing hair product, one was filing her nails and one was on her phone. Finally after 10 minutes a new customer arrived, and was seated immediately - leaving me wondering what happened. I’m new to Ocala but I think I’ll find somewhere else to get a haircut.

I checked in online, was advised there was a 44 minute wait and I would receive an email 15 minutes before my appt. Got to the store at about 44 min and there was no record of me signing in! Now I was told there was a wait of 20 minutes. I don't think so. I went home and cut my own hair. Am I going back to great cuts again?? I don't think so!

Can you give negative stars? Worse haircut EVER! And I’ve had loads of haircuts. Lisa showed little interest in my attempt to show her a picture of a previous haircut. She wouldn’t even look, just said she knew just from the way my hair fell. WHAT? She immediately got out the electric shaver and started buzzing the back of my head. Did she not notice I’m a woman of a certain age and not a guy?I wanted my curls cut off not shaved off! I wanted it cut, not shaved. My anticipated diva cut went to something out of Gentlemen's Weekly. HELLO…why in earth would a hair dresser cut my hair with a shaver??? Trim my neck area , yes, style my hair no. When I objected when my hair was flying off my head, Lisa said she knew what she was doing. Really? Apparently not!! Lisa, if you plan to stay in this profession, listen to your customers and only give women Men’s haircuts only if they ask for them. I will never go back. Consider yourself warned. If you can’t resist and must go, exit quickly if you are assigned Lisa. My 6 year old granddaughter could do a better job. Keep the money, I want my hair back! Did Lisa attend the Acme School of Hairdressers?

The stylists are very professional and get you in and out in no time. The results are stunning. Would I recommend them definitely, they are all super stars in my book
