Excellent food and genuinely some of the nicest people. The Asian Philly is my favorite sandwich but I haven’t had a meal I didn’t like! Pics are of the Asian Philly sandwich, Buffalo Chicken sticky buns, and the Teriyaki chicken rice bowl.

This was a great find! Amazing bao and ramen. They have several beers on tap. Justin is an amazing chef and was very personable. Andrew was super fun and knowledgeable about the beers. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately I can only rate 5 stars, would give more if possible. We were visiting Ocala on our roadtrip through Florida and did not regret it. They have great sandwiches, great beer from their own brewery (which is amazing) and such friendly staff. Also awesome price for value ratio, I must confess that I was a bit shocked on how low the prices were compared to any other restaurant we tried throughout our trip. Highly recommended!

To anyone reading this, please consider my written review over the 4 star rating. I really wish Google would start offering 10 stars because I would have given a 9. I really like the atmosphere, the staff, and the unusual food offerings. The ramen was good, the soft pretzel was good, the beer cheese was average, but the rice bowl was very good. I think this spot is perfect for a couples date, small gathering, or a relaxing spot to try some local beers. We will be back but I think our whole party will all be getting the amazing rice bowls! Give this place a try!

My family and I celebrated a birthday here. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was good. The spicy shoyu ramen broth was on the salty side. I don't have a picture of it, but the scallion pancakes were delicious! Totally recommend trying Big Hammock for relaxed drinks & delicious Asian inspired dishes.

First time here on a whim and it was nothing short of delicious! I’ve lived near the square for years and never thought much of this place but boy was I wrong! Asian inspired dishes with a hipster flair. Gyoza’s were good! The Bao “Buns” were more like tacos not traditional per se but were AMAZING (try the Pork belly)! Ramen bowls are HUGE! The miso was good but the Shoyu (dark soy broth) was STELLAR! The Rice bowls were also a hit, I got this the next day as I had to return to try more!! Beer bar as there is no Liquor if that is your thing, and service was great, very attentive!

We ordered the steam Bao buns with chicken, the rice bowl, the ramen w/pork belly, the nightly special and several different beers and all of it tasted amazingly good! The chicken was juicy and tender and everything was hot. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing! 10/10 would definitely recommend to friends and family. Well done.

Absolutely love this place, great food, friendly service and of course a super selection of beers! Not to mention that the atmosphere is casual and staff is super helpful! A must visit when your in the downtown area! FYI, the Ramon bowls are amazing!

Best food I've had in Ocala, the beer and cider was great 😋 the pork belly bao is a must, the scallion pancake with tofu was delicious. I can't wait to visit Big Hammock Brewery again 😭

So yeah, first visit last night, hands down the best food I’ve eaten since moving to the area about 6 months ago…hands down. Had potstickers for appetizers, then let our server order for us. I got the special which was a brothless ramen dish with a miso butter, veg, a soy egg, steak, and shrooms. One of the owners came over when I was literally scraping the remnants into my mouth with chopsticks, said he wanted to know how it was 🤣. Incredible flavor. Spousal Unit had a rice bowl with delicious pot roast style meat on top. 11 out of 10 in all metrics. I bought a tee shirt it was so good!

Big Hammock is amazing. We went there recently and had an unbelievable experience. We sat at the Bar and Jason took great care of us. They have a few in house made beers that were lovely and true to style. And they also have some great national and other local florida beers as well. The drinks were all lovely but then came the food. The food was out of this world. I haven't seen a brewery with Asian fusion type food and it's an experience I think everyone should have. The scallion pancakes, pot stickers, and buffalo chicken bao buns were especially fantastic. I also had the excellent fortune of being there on Weiner Wednesday. They do a different one every week and up to this point they have yet to repeat one! I loved the atmosphere, the drinks, the food, and the service. Very impressed overall and I will be back!

Stopped by and had beers and potstickers. Only a could beers brewed by them and a good select of other craft beers. Sat at the ‘bar’ which is set up like a diner. Only complaint beers weren’t real cold.had the meat potstickers they were good though the centers were slightly cold still. Servers were great very friendly. We would give it a shot again.

A must visit while you are in Ocalca! Amazing food and wonderful service by Josh and Justin. We ordered Ramen bowl, Gioza and a fresh cold beer..it was just what the doctor ordered!

Visited Ocala from Wisconsin. Nice variety of beer. We all had different types of Ramen...I had roasted pork butt...delicious! Victoria was our server....very professional and attentive. SUPER SERVER OF THE YEAR! Awesome variety of rock music. We would definitely come again and recommend!

Wonderful accommodating servers. Assorted options for beer and food. Was hoping for more of a variety of beer brewed on site but the 1 Amber they have is pretty tasty and kind of unique. Definitely recommend!

Our waitress, Emily was really kind, knowledgeable, patient and nice. We were a group of 5 people We tried a lot of beers before than choose the perfect ones! My fav was “Angry chair “ boom!! Nice atmosphere!!

Ramen bowl is huge and piping hot. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere was super chill.
