Beautiful place! I was very impressed with the volume of memorials of all those who fought. And they are continuing to expand with additional memorials in the plans.

A very well decorated park that showcases the dedication and numerous sacrifices made by our service members. The park is very large and features ample parking for different events such as Vietnam War Veteran recognitions. Just walking the park is enough to provide a sense of respect for current and past service members.

Went for a dance class. Great spot to just chill. The pavilion has some interesting historical facts on the colors. The spot isn't quiet, though... In a very busy area and right by the street, but it's still nice. Grab a blanket, go when it's not hot, and just chill.

A very nice Veterans Park with all sorts of memorials and tributes for all of America's veterans. Placed memorial bricks honoring my father's service, my own and my son's. A great place to visit and pay tribute to those that have served, supporting our country's needs.

This is a wonderful family friendly place to listen to music, watch fireworks, and socialize. Bring a blanket, folding chair, or use the bleachers. You can even walk around during the performance without disturbing anyone. God bless America, the KOS Concert Band, & our veterans! And thank you for your service.

Came with my dad on a memorial day afternoon & this park is absolutely beautiful, serene & extremely educational. My dad with his walker would go for a bit then sit & enjoy the many beautiful beaches scattered all around. Just lovely, a must if you are in the area.

Beautiful ceremony. It was a wonderful tribute to all the 9/11 people who were involved. All the speakers were great. More people should have attended. We should never forget.

Awesome displays. Although not a large park, adults and children should set aside some tome to visit this park/museum. Very educational. Go see it.

The grounds are so well kept...so peaceful ...all different areas for different wars...each has an amazing sense of peace...the state flag area is very nice...when the wind picks up its an amazing feeling...I found a spot where I guess a mother or father of a young soldier who had died had placed an American flag and photo of him..which brought me to tears..he should be on one of the bricks with his name on it...it's an amazing feeling just knowing all of these people sacrificed their lives for us...I now visit and walk around once a week and show my respect and enjoy the peaceful feeling I get while I'm there..I'm so thankful for all of these heroes who fought for the freedom we have today.

I couldn't believe the amount of history on display there. Truly humbling experience to walk around reading all the monuments and information there. I highly recommend anyone that's a veteran or into the history of our veterans, let alone just to stop by and show your respect, truly one place you will want to stop and see. Beware of where you park. For some areas are for Veterans or Combat Injured Vets only.

The park is a nice place to visit. There are offices nearby that will teach you and provide more information about our fallen veterans. They hold many events through the year and I recommend you make it to them! The event they held for Veterans Day was quite a show. 21 gun salute and a surprise cannon shot that I wasn't expecting. Will go there for future events!

We went today 9/11 for a homeschool field trip. The 911 wall was absolutely sobering. My 8 year old grand daughter could only say how sad it was and we as adults dont always remember...someone traded their life for our freedom.

First off let me say how impressed I was, I hadn't had the chance to go since it's induction, because I moved away and then joined the service myself, but to see it today on such a beautiful day it was magnificent, well put together tribute I thought I would be underwhelmed, it was definitely the opposite kudos to everyone associated with the project, if you're a local veteran and haven't been take a trip up there. I'll provide just a small few of the photos I took while there.

A nice quiet peaceful part. Apart completely dedicated to the veterans who have served. They have a map online that makes it easy to find who you're looking for. Monday to Friday they have someone in the office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. down the hill there's a museum you can go visit. Personally I think it's a great place.
