WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. When we went to check in and the clerk asked us where we were from. We told him and then he quickly insulted us and everyone who lives in our state. He then promptly gives us the worse room in the hotel. The room by the back door that bangs all night and morning from guests coming and going. We went back to the front desk and asked if the hotel was full. They responded with no it is only half full. Big surprise since the staff treats anyone who is different from them with no respect. Please do not support or condone this behavior by staying at this hotel. We travel a lot and have never encountered this type of behavior from staff at a hotel. The rooms were old and outdated as well We spent good money and wish we would have stayed at one of the many nearby choices. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The room was huge but it reeked of Chinese food. Front desk staff acted like it wasn’t their problem that there wasn’t any luggage carts available. Hallway temperature was 90ish degrees. Way overpriced but the coffee was fast and fresh. Do yourself a favor and push on to another city. Don’t stop here.

Stayed here for two of the three nights scheduled. Had to leave because on day two came in the room and had ants and roaches in the room on and inside the refrigerator and on the table under the television. Very disgusting and disappointing, will not be back to this hotel ever. Cleanliness seems to be a thing of the past for many of these types of places. I truly hope they can turn it around d for the better.

For starters, the hotel staff was not friendly whatsoever. After we checked in, we went to the elevator that made some funny sounds and didn’t have working lights for the buttons/floor levels. I looked at the inspection posted and it had expired 2 months prior. When we got to our room it was nearly 80 degrees inside. We adjusted the thermostat and it never got down to where we set it. The room itself was very dingy, the lights were super dark. The wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and there were dirty stains in the bathroom on the ceiling. When I went to shower there was a gross bug in the shower curtain. We went to the pool and the area around the pool didn’t look like it was cleaned often. The bins used for towels and whatnot were broken. Luckily we booked the hotel just for the night as we were driving through, but we were very disappointed. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but being categorized as a 3-star hotel is way off.

The pictures online are deceiving. The room was gross and nowhere near as nice as the photos make it look. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and made our feet black. The tub was dirty. The toilet had permanent stains on the seat. And worst of all it was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. The trash came at 2 am and woke us up and at 3 am someone started MOWING THE LAWN next door at the Burger King. This lasted until 5 am. We got no sleep. Who mows the lawn in the middle of the night. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not stay here. Oh and the a/c made a ridiculous loud screeching noise every time it turned off or on and woke our baby up.

The hotel is dated. It has potential for sure! The lobby is the main attraction, which is very stylish. The rooms are just ok. Please update this hotel, which could be a beautiful property.

recently had the opportunity to stay at this place for one night, and I must say it was quite pleasant. The location is fantastic, offering convenience and easy access to nearby attractions. While the parking situation could be improved, I appreciated the availability of parking spaces. The rooms were spacious and generally comfortable, although some minor touch-ups could enhance their overall appeal. The bar boasted an impressive selection, and the pool provided a refreshing and enjoyable experience. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the positive atmosphere of the stay. Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend.

So-so hotel. Stayed for 6 nights. The bistro is over-priced frozen food. The rooms are very large, but super outdated. The tub had rust stains in it. Water smelled like rotten eggs. I was woken up by sirens and street noise every single night of my stay. The garbage truck collected the garbage at 3:20am very loudly on Wednesday night… But overall, it really does seem like the hotel is striving for the best. The staff is really nice and accommodating. The pool area is nice. The hotel overall just seems old with a fake, fresh face.

Bugs in bathroom Outlets by bed not operating Loud elevator mechanical noise all night ! Shower with ample hot water and great pressure. Fan from a/c unit was loud and harmonized with the din of the elevator… not a restful night.

Customer service staff was wonderful. They greeted us welk and check-in was a breeze. To be honest, I was worried after reading the reviews. However, our room was spotless, linens clean, bathroom perfect. The room was not dated, nor moldy nor smelly. The bed was comfortable and A/C was nice and cold. Next time we are in Ocala, we will stay here again!!

I stayed at this location two different days within a week. The first room that I stayed in was a little dated, but was overall clean. The bed was comfortable and everything was quiet. My second stay was on a different floor and the room seemed to be updated a little more. The staff at this location were amazing and very helpful. Our requests for additional towels and pillows were taken care of quickly. The pool and hot tub area were clean and a welcome amenity after a long day of traveling. The jets on the hot tub were not very strong, but the water was nice and hot. The location is great as it is very close to 75 an many restaurants. My only complaint is that signage on the building is not very visible. When driving around trying to find the correct entrance I had a little difficulty finding area C. Other than that a good stay. I would definitely visit again when I am in the Ocala area.

I have stayed at Marriott's over the past 20+ years with Elite status now. Most have been Courtyards. This hotel looks a bit run down but the main reason for my rating is the bugs in my room. I had bugs crawling on my toothbrush and after closer inspection, by the nightstand. I was disgusting and moved rooms. I asked for a call from the manager and have never received one. I will never stay here again. Terrible hotel.

6 night stay, asked for every other day housekeeping, received 1. When we asked for clean towels, TP and coffee it seemed like an imposition. The bar is money! Bartenders are great and the food, although limited, was fantastic...bravo Ryan and Andrew. Room had the smell of exhaust, I'm guessing it is because of the close proximity to super busy I 75 and SR 200.

The Fairfield Inn did not have Internet so we contacted Marriott and they helped us get a reservation across the street at the Courtyard. Everything was fine. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. A/C and TV worked. Staff was friendly.

i don’t often post reviews on hotels but when there’s a safety concern, i will! we stayed one night (5/26/23) as we were on our way to Orlando. upon entering the room, it smelled like an old wet towel, but we were tired and just wanted to sleep. At 11:03pm someone starts to enter our room, mt husband jumps up and slams the door back shut. luckily my husband had closed the lock henge thinf before we went to bed. otherwise this man would have entered our room with our two little children because somehow he had a key!!! my husband asked what the guy wanted and he fumbled before saying “i’m with maintenance and i’m here to caulk the shower”. my husband said absolutely not and we were asleep. the next morning i asked the front desk if that was a legit maintenance person and she said no! we told her what he was wearing and looked like and she said that definitely wasn’t one of their service personnel. she didn’t seem alarmed tho so i re-emphasized “well someone had a key to our room without your approval or ours”. again, she still didn’t seem too alarmed and said “thank goodness you had the lock on because that may have been bad”. we left without some much as an apology or an offer to give us our points back. don’t stay here!

I was on a work trip so keep in mind my company paid for it and I stayed for 5 nights. Staff was fantastic every person I talked to was super nice and friendly! The lobby was nice looking. The hot tub and the pool is on the small side but super nice! There is a fire pit! Rooms are a little outdated. The TV is probably from 2012 and you can't cast to the tv, the shower bath combo had stans so I felt the need to clean it because I didn't trust it the wallpaper in the room was peeling the expose pipe under the sink you can clearly see was never cleaned and made the bathroom feel overall gross the bed skirt is dusty and the AC never worked well the walls are thin I heard others talking outside and in the hallway sometimes even heard my neighbors inside their rooms. I will say the beds are nice and the room feels nice. Honestly if I had paid I would pay maybe $70-80 a night I've stayed at better Marriotts for about $150 a night that had a working AC and felt way cleaner

They’re consistent. I stay here several times a year and have been doing so for many years. I’ve read plenty of the bad reviews on this specific Courtyard Marriott and I haven’t experienced any of those horror stories. I’m probably not the worlds most patient or forgiving person, but I’m not going to go on and on with a bad review because the restroom near the lobby was out of paper towels when I last went in there. The staff has never let me down if I’ve needed anything and I like the location. It’s an older property and could use a little work. Not a big deal (yet)

We arrived around 10pm. The parking lot seemed sketchy. None of the guests seemed quite right. The lobby was ok but the hotel had never ending winding halls. Half of the lights weren’t working on the hallways and it felt like the Shining. Then we get to our hall and it smelled like weed. We get in the room and it smells damp and moldy. We take the hike back to the front desk and change rooms, only to find it smells like cat pee. Then we go back to the front desk where the manager seemed perturbed with us but offers us a suite. We decline because we do not want 2 rooms that smell wet or pissy. We were refunded our money and had to find another hotel. Worst experience and disgusting hotel 0/10

King room was very nice and space well used. Rolling ottoman was nice with a comfy couch. A nice rolling pullout dining table under the desk was great too. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel and one I will go back to again. The room was very clean and the common areas were relatively spotless. Room had enough space to get my work done and internet worked great. Only ding is the dust ruffle as it was dirty and I always look there under the mattress. Bathroom was clean and no mold. Overall great property and close to the highway. Staff were all friendly as well. I will be back.

We booked 2 rooms for the stay and both the bathroom and Lav sink were clogged for both the rooms. We were told during the check in that I will be able to get an upgrade and that didn’t happen because some other team employee came and said no. The stay was okay and there is no room cleaning service.

I stopped by on a fluke, I had driven way too far and just needed a bed. The price was okay, but the room was awesome. Comfy, huge bed...nice size room with a comfy couch...big enough for a smaller person. Separate shower and sink area, so two people can get ready at once without bumping into each other. And best of all it wasn't far from I75...plenty of gas stations and food nearby too! The only drawback I saw was the sidewalk entrance areas by the side door didn't have ramps/handicapped access nearby...not to mention not enough close by handicapped parking. And also, be aware of your surroundings as the parking lot is sectioned off around hotel...seemed a little dark in certain areas with lighting and tree cover. Be safe all.

Stay away! I’m a Bonvoy member and staying at different Marriott facilities, but this one is really BAD! 1. Rooms are unclean. Bathroom had a lot of hair all over. Soup/shampoo dispensers were empty. Smell like was not clean months… 2. They double charge and don’t want to refund! Management not engaging at all! Tried to connect with managers for 3 weeks with no response.

I ordered a regular room online and then found out the next day that I was put into an accessible room after doing research on the rooms inside makeup and when I questioned the hotel employee about it she confirmed. This room could have been used for someone with disabilities who needed this room. This room also had another door inside the room with a lock on it that possibly lead to another room which was very suspicious. I requested a room change and a refund and was denied both.

Pleasant cont as contemporary lobby and lounge. Lots of lounging space. Staff was friendly, engaged and helpful. Rooms were efficient and clean. Next to restaurants with small bistro nside with limited breakfast and evening meals.

Dirty, dirty, dirty! Garbage cans not emptied. Hallways not cleaned. Elevator was so disgusting, I didn't want to touch the buttons. Cash deals being done in the parking lot. I give it a 2 star because the lobby and rooms were nice. Never again! Marriot you should be ashamed!

We've stayed at this hotel in Ocala, FL, several times and have never had a problem until our stay on Sept. 24, 2022. We were traveling with a friend and had reserved two rooms. When my husband and I walked into our room. I immediately saw a roach scurrying away. We then found another roach on the sofa and when I picked up the phone receiver to call the front desk, another roach crawled out from under the phone and there was another roach on the desk. They moved us to another room on another floor and I killed two baby roaches in that room. The next morning, our friend said he had some roaches in his room. Upon check out the next morning, I again informed the front desk clerk about the roach problem in at least 3 rooms on two different floors and he just gave a perfunctory apology while still on the computer. We have reservations to stay at this same hotel in December and I am seriously considering canceling. The man who came to help us move to the second room, said this was the first time they had a complaint about roaches - it was usually ants they had problems with. Neither is acceptable!

Receptionist was nice and kind to our granddaughter. After a long day of horseback riding we checked in and got into showers quickly. Noticing the shower was not very clean--I tried to not be super picky... but then my granddaughter mentioned it from her shower as well. We go to the balcony and find the door is broken and the balcony is filthy (writing on the walls and dirt/leaves covering the ground), we head in and notice the the countertop of the desk is all warped and broken. At this point I realize there is no way I can stay so we pack up and head downstairs (in room for about 1 hour now).. We were offered another room which we agreed to-- upon entering the room we notice this room smells old and stingy/moldy and refuse the room.. WE LEFT even though I was REFUSED a refund. I have requested a refund twice in writing with no resolution.. THINK TWICE there are much nicer places to stay for the same price point

Very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean. The only complaint would be the price of a beer is excessively high. Don’t drink the bottled water in the room. It’s $5. The staff is very courteous.

Was a nice place, 3/5 stars because my room smelled of a stale musty odor the second I got in the room and didn’t go away the entire time, not sure how well my room had been cleaned before I got there. The room stayed very dark which was nice, however in the mornings just expect to be woken up by all the room doors since they all slam very loudly.

I came here expecting way different .. the hotel looked old and outdated from the outside but once you step inside it is beautiful. My wife and I had a bit of an attitude about the price but the attendant Amy was so outstanding and wonderful about it.. don’t meet to many friendly workers these days but she really had us smiling and laughing all the way to our room. the rooms were nice and comfortable. The balconies could use a little clean but other than that , it was great!!

I booked a King Suite. Room 148. While the room was large, clean, & bed was comfortable, it’s disappointing that they put this room right next to the elevator equipment room. Worse is that the headroom is right next to the equipment room. Anytime someone used an elevator, you can hear the buzzing noise. This went on all night long. They also have “smart” thermostats that don’t run if it doesn’t sense that you are in the room after awhile. So sometime in the middle of the night, the room was several degrees warmer than I had originally set it. Which did not help with sleeping since I was too warm, while being woken up by the mechanical room. The lights in the hallways are very dark. The other lights in the room could be updated to a higher lumen or to not be so yellow as well.

Arrived at the hotel around 10pm after driving all day. Was ready to get into the room and sleep. The first room we got into had blood on the pillow case, sheets and mattress protector. Called the front desk and the lady working was extremely helpful and moved us to another room. This room was in better condition but still average. Shower had rust stains coming out of the the water safety overflow and had a very musty smell. I was told that I would be given points to my Marriott card but that still has not happened. Being a Marriott member for a long time now I try to use Marriott hotels when I can. This hotel won’t be on my list to go back to.
