Jolly Roger Amusement Park is a must visit if you are in Ocean City. It’s something for the entire family to enjoy here, from speeding down the race track to a simple game of mini golf ⛳️. It’s fun for all, the splash park is super fun my kids did not wanna leave. It’s definitely a place I recommend to let go and have a little fun!!!

Been coming here since the early 1990's. Great amusement park for the family. Over the years this place has grown a lot. They have two different miniature golf courses. They also have go-kart tracks, water slides, carnival style rides and more. The property is well kept and maintained. It is located right on the main road, down near 33rd and 32nd street.

The whale guy should get a raise!!! He was so wonderful with all the kids. He truly seemed to love his job or at least wanted to pass the time. Either way he was great, I can’t say enough great things about him. My son LOVED him and asked everyday to go back just to ride the whales. He was truly a gem. He needs a parking spot!! We also loved circus smile, that was a lot of fun and different. Really really enjoyed it. The rides do need an upgrade and get some umbrellas for the ride operators. The sun was crushing them!!! They were great all around and deserve that much! Thanks for a great time

Me and my bf had so much fun here!! Staff was super friendly! Rides were so fun. Just wish the bathrooms had been stocked and cleaned up. Also there was only one place to get food, drinks.

Took the kids here to play mini golf one afternoon and had a good time. We ended up staying to check out the amusement park. We initially thought it was closed because it was pretty vacant and we didn't see the rides being operated. But they were open and they operated the rides as long as you had a ticket. We ended up coming back later in the week around 8p and there were a lot more people and we had a lot more fun. After 7p you can purchase a bracelet for unlimited rides. This is a much more cost effective option. The operators and staff were all very friendly. This is a great spot to take the kids in the evening after a day at the beach. My kids really enjoyed it as well as the shows and the lady with the bunny rabbit. There was a water park that we didn't get a chance to visit, but we will next time. Also, be sure to bring cash because from what I could tell the food vendors only accept cash.

The place is mix for us. The care for the course and surroundings is clean and updated. It had a course of 27 holes which wasn't bad either and the concept was awesome. The only issue was the holes them self. A good deal of them seemed to be a straight shot. Most of the holes are a par 3.

We played miniature golf at Jolly Roger Amusement Park, it was a fun course! Highly recommend! We also got a chance to ride the Wildcat roller coaster that we originally rode as children at Cedar Point in Ohio! What a great experience!

Fun amusement with a variety of packages for The Amazing Speedway (loved it), Splish Splash water park (didn't do it since I spent the day before at the beach) and the amusement park with scheduled shows throughout the day (loved it) and great rides. Ms .Leslie at guest services and the whole Jolly Roger team are superb. Respectful, patient, and great photographers. They assisted me with catching valuable memories of me with my son and Grandson

We did both the Waterpark and the rides. The water park was nice and spread out, with lots of slides and activities to keep the kids busy. They provide life vests for kids and have plenty of seats to put your towels. The rides were ok. For the price, I think they need of a selection for the bigger kids. Otherwise it was fun. My only complaint would be the price of food and beverages was extremely high. Otherwise, we plan to return.

Hands down one of my top favorite amusement parks to ever go. First time this year and will be every time we come to Maryland. Water park is absolutely amazing and has something for every age. Theme park was phenomenal clean, first park we ever been too where you see the workers that run the rides having fun w the kids, and only park in Maryland you get a free amazing circus. A+

Jolly Roger park is the premier amusement park in OCMD. It’s fun for all ages, a must visit for when you’re in town. The water park, here is the move: make sure one person of your group has enough towels for everyone in your party. This person has to commit to getting in line ahead of the open to grab your spot. There is a ton of space and chairs/shade available. My suggestion if you have kids and want a spot to eat, is to grab some space at or around the picnic tables. There are also cabanas for a bit more privacy (great if you need to change little ones). You can pack your own food and cooler, though there are the typical “amusement park foods”. The food vendors are CASH ONLY as of writing this, so keep that in mind if you plan on buying food there. As for the amusement park, the number one employee who loves his jobs works the whale ride. He is engaging and makes it fun for everyone, bringing energy for every ride. Be prepared for knucks, high fives, and foam sword fights (yes, he rocks). Make sure you dedicate some time to this park, it’s worth the price of admission.

TBH the park itself is average. BUT… the 5+ stars rating definitely goes out to the “Whale Guy”. He is AH-MA-ZING! I’ve never met a more enthusiastic ride operator as him, not even at Disney World! So much so I felt the need to write a review! He surprised me how he engaged the little ones on such a simple ride. He made everyone laughed. And all the kids were giggling and laughing even after the ride. Mine wanted to go on the same ride again and again. As parents seeing our little ones light up made our day. In fact, my daughter asked me to take her back there the next day just because of that ride. Hope his employer take note of his effort and reward him for going above and beyond. He’s truly a gem! Much <3 to the “Whale Guy”! (Whale Guy, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU so so much for doing what you do!) Oh, another plus was that it actually has restrooms. Much better than porta-potty at the other places in the area.

Such a fun place! Going here is a must each year! If you're planning on going, plan for the whole day, and buy the bundles! There's a waterpark, amusement park, go-cart and mini-golf. There are many different rides and games. You will be sure to have fun here!! The shows they out on are fantastic. My family has made great memories here!

We go here every year between the early bird special and the later night hours. I believe 5pm-7pm. The price is a little more because there are no deals, but you can still buy a wristband, and it's like the WHOLE PARK is yours. No waits, no lines just pure fun for the kid.

Jolly Roger Amusement Park in Ocean City Maryland. The park is located off the boardwalk from the beach. This park has over 15 amusement park rides (Not including the Jolly Roger park from the boardwalk) and a water park. Prices can range from $10.00-$80.00 depending on if you are buying individual tickets for the rides or a wristband for all the rides. They do I have combo passes for the water park and Speedworld together. They also have a Go-Kart place called Speedworld. Many go-karts tracks and a new zipline is at Speedworld which is right next door. This location is on 30th street in ocean city Maryland. We did not do the water park or Speedworld. This is just for the amusement park on 30th street. As soon you drive up to the park. You see a bunch of rides and mini golf courses with go-karts and a water park. There is so much to do. There is parking in front and more towards the back. The parking lot is only one way so you shouldn’t have a problem following the signs to the back if you can’t park in the front. Parking is free for guest. As you walk towards the park, you see a big entrance with pirate theme. You have customer service building and a some ticket booths. You go up to the ticket booth and get your tickets or wristbands. You walk to the left and you see many rides, carnival games and food places. There is a couple more rides in the back which is the Ferris Wheel and the roller coasters. They have three roller coasters. Wacky Worm, The Barracuda, and WildCat. Wacky Worm is more for kids and the other two roller coasters is more for adults/family. We only rode the wildcat coaster and Barracude. Which is all the way in the back of the park. The wildcat stands pretty tall and can be seen through the whole park. It’s a ok park but not the best. The park was clean and didn’t even seem a piece of trash on the floor. The bathrooms was cleaned during our visit. They do make sure that the park is clean and nice for their guests. We do go on a weekday which wasn’t really too busy. We did try the food. We got the bacon hotdog. It was ok, nothing really to special. To me, it was more like something you would make at home but it was still good. The staff was so nice and friendly. They even had a smile on their face. They welcoming guest to Jolly Roger park and that is amazing to see. I do feel like the ride operators should be more engaging though. They are the key and butter of the park. They didn’t seem like it but hey, That’s just the atmosphere of the rides apartment. To me, the park seem more like a kids/family park. There isn’t enough thrill rides for thrill seekers or adults. They have wildcat and Barracude but those seem more like family coasters as well. I just feel like the park need more thrill rides. I understand that they are kinda old school park and landlocked but it just didn’t seem fun to me like other parks or like Trimper park which is only a couple streets down from Jolly Roger Park. They have more modern and more thrilling rides for the whole family and have more of a selection for everyone and not just a family selection. I would recommend adding more rides if they can to help more options for the whole family to play and enjoy the park even more. It just feels more like the park is there and not invested into like other parks but that’s just my opinion. Do we recommend Jolly Roger Amusement Park on 30th street. Yes and no if that make sense. Yes because if you have a family and kids ages between 3-12 then yes because kids would love this park as there is many things to do for them but anyone older than that I wouldn’t recommend. Definitely if you are a couple like we was. It just kinda was boring and we didn’t feel the excitement like you would in any other amusement park that you should during your visit. We recommend for older crowds to go to Trimper park down the road or even the boardwalk Jolly Roger Park, since there is more thrilling rides than this one on the 30th street. We also going on a weekend if you do decide to go because weekends are probably busier. Overall 3.9/5

We buy our season passes for half price on Black Friday. It's a great place for family fun during the summer. We have been going for years and will always come back. It's safe, it's clean, the staff are friendly. It'also across the street from the beach if you want to arrive a little early or stay a little late to enjoy that.

Was a great time the kids really enjoyed themselves we broke up our experience over a few days we did the go-karts one day. Then we did the amusement park the next day. We started at the pier and did all those ride a few times then headed over to the main park and finished out the day with a nice round of mini golf. Then spent 9 hrs. At plastic mountain the following day which was a blast but I guess I didn't apply sunblock on often enough I'm so red that my wife keeps calling me a lobster& hell boy lol. But there was a ton of fun things to do on each day and the price wasn't too bad if you ask me.

We paid for a daytime pass for the pier and 30th street location. Signage clearly stated unlimited rides at the pier from 1-5 and unlimited rides at the 30th street location from 2-6. We arrived at the 30th street location at 4pm and we were told they are closed and the signs had not been updated. No attempt at righting this false advertising.

My kids and I had an incredible experience at this park. We rode the barracuda, the flying dutchman, and the wildcat repeatedly. The entire crew was incredible - but Preston and Trea (along with the sweet woman with glasses whose name I didn’t catch at the Wildcat) — wete absolute standouts who made out day extra special. We were super impressed with the circus and even made some friends while we were there. We would absolutely go back.

I brought my daughter and son here twice a week this month (July 2022) and each time my kids had an amazing time. They loved the Whale Guy on the whale ride and KT on the Barracuda ride!! Those guys are truly special and are keepers. All those who come here are families and all you hear is laughter from kids and adults having a blast! Jolly Roger is truly a gem. I cannot wait to have my daughter work for you next summer. She is excited!
