LOVE THIS LITTLE PARK ON THE BEACH! The park is perfect for small kids and the pier is a fun walk directly across the street. The outside area is great for local bands and events. Great place to Pokemon as well!

I was here just as the sun set. Wish I had a better camera on here because it was just so beautiful. Picture perfect. These pictures of the Ocean springs ,Ms bridge do not even do it justice.

The park itself was closed. Pier was closed. But the beach is beautiful and teaming with life. It was also clean! We saw heron and crabs. We went surf fishing without luck but it was still a beautiful visit.

Nice place to park when going to beach as it's right across the street. Had ample parking on the Sunday we were visiting, not busy at all. Nice play area for the kiddos. Small splash pad area was helpful after the beach to get the sand off our feet.

Great looking park. Bathrooms were closed for the night (understandably) but I could smell how CLEAN they were just walking by them. Well taken care of park. There was a wedding getting ready to take place and everyone was extremely nice. Great place to run, bike, or skate near the beach. Plenty of parking!

This place is so serene! I love this place. It has a park for kids to play. A beautiful pier to walk on and take photos like myself. You can walk out to the water and enjoy the waves. Great place to come let all of your stress float away. Plenty of areas to park. Clean space as well!!!

This area was so nice. A great beach to relax on and a nice playground for the kids. My kids made friends with other kids on the playground and they even hugged each other when it was time to leave.

It was wonderful to be back in Ocean Springs my home for 17yrs . It’s just as beautiful as before with so much more opportunities. I’m so happy I was able to talk the hubbie into stopping at the Park Beach . The temperatures were a little nippy but the Atmosphere and sitings & scenery were just beautiful . It was good to be able to show my husband up close the tree carvings -they are Immaculate. He would always compliment as we ride the beach on 90 how cool and different the tree carvings were along the median . The park is always so clean and well kept. I took several pics up close from different angels.

Always clean and beautiful. There is a splash pad for kids and dogs are allowed on leash as well which is great for those of you like me who take your fur babies everywhere. Usually there is ample parking as well even during festival days in downtown.

As much as I'd like to rate this place higher, I had some serious trouble during my 4 night stay. The benches aren't that comfortable to sleep on, nor are the toilets if you want more seclusion. There's also no avoiding the giggles and shouts of children quite early if you intend to sleep in. Room service was surprisingly good and the receptionist at the twisty slide was very friendly so the staffing seems nice at least. No food can be purchased on site but there's a pier within 300ft if you feel like getting your hands dirty. It's a nice place with good staff but getting adequate rest is difficult and food was a little hard to come by.

Fort Maurepas City Park is the central location of Front Beach in Ocean Springs. It is directly facing the pier in the midpoint of the beach. The surrounding scenery is astounding, showcasing beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the daily. The water reflects the rays encompassing the area with a sense of serenity. In addition to the playground, Fort Maurepas has benches, a stage, electrical outlets, historical knowledge, and a full parking lot. It is adjacent Washington Avenue which connects Front Beach to Downtown Ocean Springs, Highway 90 (Bienville Blvd.), and St. Martin. This is the place to go for peace, parties, and photo-ready scenery. Of course it lies in the heart of Ocean Springs main beach, Front Beach. Welcome to the Gulf Coast.

Playground is great, ground is the rubbery, slightly squishy surface. Couple slides, large enough for 20-30 kids, and crosswalk straight to a pier on the water. Wonderful sand (small grain, soft, gets everywhere kind), and there's a water station to rinse off at the beach side of the crosswalk.

Great visit with the family and the pups! Had rained that morning so gnats were kind of bad but other than that it was a great time.

A great little park with bathrooms across from the beach and fishing pier. The playground is good for toddlers through 12 years old. History markers tell the story of the fort and the flags. The playground is not enclosed in a fence.

This is a lovely little city Park across from the beach. It has bathrooms, a large shade structure, a playground, a fountain, and picnic tables and benches. We were there on several nights - one night a couple was practicing dancing and another evening there was a women's boot camp exercise class. It is obviously well loved and well used by the OS community. We enjoyed a shaded area to look out at the water and read and sketch.

👍👍 We have had a family trip in Downtown Ocean Springs for the past few years, but this year was the first to get a golf cart! It was a big hit with kids and adults alike, and we loved being able to explore downtown and the beach. The employees were very communicative and helpful, and we got a discount...
