If you like wings the salt and pepper wings are so delicious and fresh. I’ve been here several times and each time the food was really good.

Last minute decision to have dinner. Food was decent. Price was fair. Definitely will return.

Consistently great food, over the last 4 years we've lived in this area. Servers are soft-spoken, attentive & polite. Sweet & Sour Pork is one of my favorites here. Pork chunks, coated in an orange sauce are crispy on the outside, & succulent & juicy inside. Pineapple chunks, thinly-sliced, flower-shaped carrots, sliced green bell peppers & onions complete this tasty dish. Another here we love, is Chicken Chop Suey- tender thinly-sliced white meat chicken, broccoli, bok choy, zucchini, pea pods, mushrooms & cabbage, swimming in a delicious white sauce.

Delicious Chinese food, good Sichuan spice. This is flavorful food, but Chinese seeking authentic food may find it too Americanized. They explain the menu very well and point out tips for enjoying the lunch menu. I will come here again and again. Service was excellent. Friendly staff, good prices. Food came fast. We ate everything on the plate. Get the spicy beef.

This place looks like a royal place. It values privacy and the staffs are very very attentive to our needs. The food is soo delicious. I can say that this is the authentic Chinese restaurant you are searching for. It is very cheap as well and the portions are huge at least for me. I was not able to finish my meal and was able to take home half of it and save it for dinner. My boyfriend finished his though and he felt bloated after but in a good way. We were very satisfied with our visit and looking forward to come back here. :)

What a find! With so many options for Chinese food out there, it was wonderful to find a place with great food, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. Portions were ample and fairly priced. The menu had something for everyone, ranging from the traditional, to the not often found. We started with hand made pot stickers and moved on to tangerine chicken, Schezwan beef, and pork fried rice. The flavors were amazing. Even my picky 8-year-old was impressed. Then we tried the pepper beef and the house special Pao Hu pork (pictured). The beef, served on a sizzling hot platter, was tender and delicious. The Pao Hu pork, which we were told is not found elsewhere, was this wonderful blend of crispy but soft pork and peanuts. My wife doesn't like peanuts but could not get enough of this dish. The staff was attentive and friendly. I can't wait to be back in the area and try some more dishes (fortunately we have leftovers). I highly recommend.

The best chinese food I've ever had, hands down! I absolutely love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff are very friendly and do a superb job. If you're a fan of fried rice, this place does it the best. This is my favorite chinese restaurant by far.

I used to come here as a kid with my family for special occasions and as a young adult on my first date with my hubby (then boyfriend). Recently, I came with mom for lunch after many, many years, and it was still the same (in a good way). The atmosphere is dark and moody and slightly sophisticated (maybe). To me, the decor is classic and brings nostalgia. Their food is consistently good, cooked well, and flavorful. I've ordered a shrimp dish and the eggplant dish (my favorite vegetable). They've never disappointed me. I'd recommend this place all day every day.

Top notch Chinese food! Came here last year, with my family! We were blown away by the great food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Portions were huge and fairly priced. The pictures are the dishes we ordered. Been looking for a go to for Chinese food and this is the spot! I highly recommend this place and I look forward to coming back this summer!

WARNING!!! Place is great but phone number is wrong according to guy we picked up our to go order from. He said it’s the number for Doordash! And we were charged A LOT for a small pickup (not delivery!) order that he said was because of this problem and that it happens to lots of people. When I had called, the person who took the order NEVER identified as Doordash or anything but the restaurant.

Delicious! Can't wait to return. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing. My husband and I shared an appetizer and then we each ordered a main dish for ourselves. We ate until we were full and we definitely have enough leftovers for lunch and dinner tomorrow. I recommend!

Horrible Phone service. Not sure who they use for taking phone orders but, Wow what a mess! took me over 20minutes to order Chicken Chop Suey. First the person sent the order to the wrong Chins then it took her 15 minutes to send it to the correct location.

The food served at this place is absolutely delicious. And that’s not even the most amazing thing! I’m not even an Asian food fan, but their Spicy Honey & Sesame Double Delight (basically orange chicken & shrimp) was what hit the spot for me! I also love the mellow atmosphere of the restaurant, really inviting. Great place, definitely coming back with family and friends!

Amazing!! So excited to find great Chinese food in Oceanside. Their lunch specials are huge and a fantastic price. Came today for the first time and we will definitely return!

We enjoyed the sweet and sour. It's very unfortunate that we couldn't our San Diego gift card there and the manager is very strict with the closing time. We literary got "kicked out".

I think this might be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I got the tangerine beef and the egg rolls that come as a set of four. Very, very good and the leftovers were even just as good the next day. The service was also outstanding.

The food is always delicious and fresh. But what stands out the most to me is the staff. They are some of the nicest individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of being around.

Appearance is nice. Staff seems friendly. Asked for dark fried rice as I am used to a Cantonese version of fried rice which is very very dark brown. Rice was still very light. I also ordered shrimp egg foo young and I was immediately grossed out as the very first spoon into the container of gravy I pulled up hair 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. Since my hair is up and currently gray and my husband is bald, naturally it wasn't our hair. I started to toss the whole meal in the trash which was just under 60 bucks. Not impressed. Looking for a fried rice house like "The Mandarin" that was in Oceanside off of Mission next to the Walmart grocery store. *Update* I received a very quick response from Howard and he has made a very good faith effort to rectify this unfortunate issue. Will try Chins again and update my review again.

I've been coming to Chin's for years. Great food! My only problem is that every time I go to order, the prices have increased again...Fried rice for $17.00??? The prices have gotten insane. I think I'm gonna have to find a new favorite for that reason.

This place was HIGHLY recommended by a neighbor of a friend, and WOW WOW WOW - super glad we made the time to explore this venue because everything was really delicious here! We ordered: eggplant in Szechuan sauce, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, chicken corn soup, Mongolian beef, and General Tso's chicken. Every dish was really spectacular and we just really enjoyed the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the super personable waiter who served us. This is a MUST STOP for Oceanside eats!

Tonight was the first time using the delivery option on Chins website. It will also be the last time. The taste of the food was terrible and it made worse that it was also cold. I called Chins to let them know and request a refund. I was told since it went through a third party I’d have to call them for a refund. The link is on Chins website and they made the food so should take responsibility. I’ve been a good customer for the last 2 years but will never go there again.

Msg Requested no MSG Friend has allergies and requested no MSG. Waiter said he would tell them. Apparently she had a reaction. She said that was all she ate that day. The waiter charged me for a beverage. I was shocked and told him I did not order a beverage. He was rude but redid the bill at the table.

I will add myself to the list of folks who have been told by Chin's Oceanside not to order via "3rd parties". It is a ridiculous comment on multiple levels. We called because our order delivery time kept getting pushed out. Jeremy at the restaurant was very rude and said "I wish you wouldn't use 3rd parties." But we ordered via Chin's own site! The call ended with our being confused and dismayed. And Jeremy could really use some manners and customer service training.

1st time visiting this restaurant with my wife. Exceeded all our expectations. This is a hidden gem. Amazing food, excellent service and staff, very clean and beautiful decor inside. Would never expected this restaurant in a strip mall. Well worth the visit for the intimate setting and the quality of food. Had the Spicy Honey & Sesame Chicken, Egg roles and Fried rice. Going to visit regularly now.

Chin’s brings real CHINESE food to life. The wonton soup is the best we have ever had… at least in the USA, have not traveled to Asia yet! The service is attentive and friendly, lots of jokes :) The entrees are FRESHLY prepared with even fresher ingredients. We do not give out 5 stars without true success in menu and experience! We come often.
