Writing this while we’re sitting here bc we’re all so impressed! I love the shrimp ceviche so much!!! Pictured is the pollo tapatio and a few tacos - Al pastor, carnitas and carna asada - everything was amazing! We’ll be back for sure! Definitely worth the 25 min drive 🍤🌮👍☺️ Service was great too!

I came here for a birthday celebration with a group of friends/family! Love the environment and the service from when I walked in the door. They we so helpful when it came to the birthday festivities. Food was soooo good! Will be back next week for another birthday celebration!

This place is amazing! The food came out so hot and fresh! The drinks were delicious. Chimichangas (Beef and Chicken), Chicken & Cheese enchiladas. Great selection on the lunch menu, as well as the drink menu! The rice is beyond mouth watering. The black beans were so good. Very authentic vibe here! Affordable, and fast! Extremely friendly service from Angelica! She was so helpful and great with suggestions from the menu. Five stars isn't enough! We loved it,and we'll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

We were a group of 7 that ate here for the first time. No wait to be seated on a Friday night. We received great, timely, accurate service. Everyone enjoyed their food. It really was delicious! Best of all, the food was very reasonably priced. I would definitely eat here again next time we are in the area.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. But I’m forced to say 1 star.. Placed an order at 9:05 on the el sombrero website and the food never arrived. Spoke to someone finally at 10:50 and she was so rude and refused to help me. Keep in mind I ordered through their website and paid their $10 delivery fee. When I asked for a refund I was told to call the driver. How can I call a driver that I don’t know!? When I paid them to freaking deliver it. Very rude! Never ordering there again

I have been going to El sombrero since they opened their doors. I have never had a bad experience there. Food is awesome. Service is awesome. It's My favorite Mexican restaurant.

Dine in was fine on both of my visits with friends but when ordering out, man that’s an issue! Whether it’s placing an order directly over the phone or UberEats, there’s always something wrong. Missing items, lesser quality food or inaccurate pick up times. I’ve given them a chance to redeem themselves but last order placed To Go was not good. Carnitas taco was “whitish” with weird “hard pieces” (still a mystery) and the chimichanga was not a chimichanga. I swear the meat inside resembled wet cat food, to which my Mexican husband refused to even taste it which says a lot. Come on guys let’s not lose those kitchen skills because there’s competition out there.

Food was fresh, tasty, and fast to the table when I visited for lunch on a weekday. My only knock (which may not matter as much to others) is that the size of the chimichanga was about 1/3 a typically sized chimichanga. (Beans were included but rice wasn't.) I don't usually leave a Mexican restaurant still feeling hungry, but several in my group did. Price was on par with other area Mexican restaurants, but given the smaller portion sizes, the value is a little less.
