Our family loves going to Lake Hartwell. They have nice boat ramps that are always kept up and clean. Lake Hartwell offers you and your family many different options to spend time together like: boating, fishing, swimming, exploring the islands that are surrounded by water, or just sitting on a boat dock enjoying the beautiful views together.

This is a great lake! I got to jump off the bridge and go tubing. But I do recommend wearing a 1-piece bathing suit for tubing.😉

Great lake for family memories

Beautiful lake that's never too packed. Love the trees all around it and the wildlife viewing. Every time we are out we see blue heron, deer and other kinds of birds. Great for boating, kayaking and swimming.

This us a beautiful CoE lake in Seneca SC. The Oconee Point campground is great with tons of good sites overlooking the lake. Clean, well kept campground.

One of the prettiest lakes I’ve been to in the south eastern half of the US. Not only that, it’s centrally located to larger cities, mountains and the Atlantic is only 5-6 hours away. Despite the clay dirt the water is clear and clean.

Large lake. Great for boating with the family. Lots of open space and has some sandy spots to stay at.

Lake Hartwell with its Thousand Mile Shoreline offers great places to get away and enjoy the beauty of nature. Has various campgrounds, restaurants and gas pumps available on the lake with places to pull up in your boat. Good fishing to and tournaments. Seems to get better and offer more each year.

You can't eat the fish because of the mercury content. The water is dirty and it has a really bad fishy smell. Many times I've seen dead fish along the edges of the water. If it's bad for the fish, I'd think it would be bad for people. But, it's pretty.

Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake spanning 962 miles of shoreline between Georgia and South Carolina. Good fishing with lots of recreational opportunities are available including State parks for camping.

It is an ok lake.

I was there 30 years ago. Beautiful lake. Crystal clear water. Learned to watersky.on that lake. Nothing but fond memories of Lake Hartwell.
