(Translated by Google) The place is very big, with a lot of nature. You breathe calm and of course fresh air. I have no idea how many rooms they have, but they must be a lot, the place is suitable for retreats. We just went to a three-day tai chi. The room is simple, nothing fancy. Even the soap is motel style, and the toilet paper, wow, terrible quality. They do not provide shampoo, nor towels to dry off. The food, although it is buffet style, due to the way it is served, the options are not many. Just a stew and a soup. For vegetarians, they adapted the food to us, so their disposition is good, although the vegetables are overcooked, and nothing really amazing. Their somewhat strange customs, you have 40 minutes to eat and at the end they ring a bell for you to leave. In the same way, you cannot talk while you are in the dining room, they gave the explanation of COVID, in any case, their rules respected. They have large gardens, and beautiful trees, in the back they have some horses, which make your eyes happy. The dining room has large windows, allowing you to see the surroundings.

(Translated by Google) Great place to connect with God, to get out of the routine, stop, listen and observe yourself. The hostel service is recommended, 3 meals (enough, monastic austerity is part of the experience), coffee and fruit all day, own bathroom, hot water, towels, good service. You can make a campfire at night, take a tour of the forest. It is worth going to the cemetery (a place of great respect) its design is unique. Great place! ¡Gran lugar!

(Translated by Google) A place of spirituality. You can get to the monastery through the Mexico Cuernavaca highway if you come by car, if not, you can get off the bus at La Paloma de la Paz and ask for a taxi. That takes you to Ahuatepec and on the main street there are signs. Upon entering, you go up the path and if you go to the inn, at the cross you turn left. If you go to the chapel, from the cross you turn right and go up. In the hostel you find brother Francisco who treats you with great kindness and care, as well as the members of the team, who are very kind people. In the hostel you will find rooms with bathroom, you must bring your own towel and it includes all the lodging service. The very comfortable beds have pillows, sheets, blankets and bedspreads. The bathroom has paper and soap. In the dining room you can enjoy some delicacies that are prepared there for the consumption of those staying there. I loved the vegetarian tinga, the guava jam, the blueberry pancake At the end, the last day, early, they put some sheets for you to write down your order Guava jam, dressings (the one I brought was mango) and it was mmmmmm the unmissable is the banana bread you can't miss it (Original) Un lugar de espiritualidad.

I've been here several times for martial arts workshops. The remote location is pretty peaceful even though the sounds from the town travel up the hill quite loudly. The rooms are very Spartan, containing a single bed, barely long enough if you're over 6', and if you're able to take a hot shower for more than a minute, if at all, count your blessings. The food that's prepared is pretty basic, mostly vegetarian and a lot of it is grown locally on the mountain itself. Very beautiful buildings and trees and flowers all throughout the grounds.

Mid-century modern Catholic monastery & retreat center were wonderful hosts for our 3 day buddhist retreat. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are basic (small cot-type beds typical to monastery rooms) but clean, with private bathrooms & hot showers. We were in the dorms, but there are also rooms that look more like a '60s American motel. beautiful views of the valley below. Nourishing vegetarian-mexican cuisine prepared by the lovely young staff. You can feel the accumulated merits on the land there... I highly recommend for any group or solitary retreat (if available). Wonderful for walking meditation and being with nature. Very safe.
