This hotel stay was excellent! The rooms were clean, the staff was warm and friendly, the overall hotel atmosphere was very welcoming. They serve fresh popped popcorn daily, which was really nice. And my favorite part of the entire stay was the showers! My goodness, the water pressure, spa like shower had and continuous hot water was amazing to me! They are very close to lots of restaurants and other entertainment. Really nice place!

I want to give a huge shout out to Shirra our sales manager, staff, Chefs. We entrusted them with our daughters Sweet 16 party and they did NOT disappoint! Shirra arraigned everything perfectly and was very attentive to our needs. The venue was set up beautifully, the staff was awesome, and the food was excellent. The party was better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you so much Hilton Garden Inn we highly recommend you to everyone!

Iโ€™ve been there for almost 5 months (Sun-Fri) and the staff is amazing. Throughout my stays and the multiple employees Iโ€™ve met and talked to, everyone has been amazing. The new chef (Michelangelo I think is his name) is amazing!!! I highly recommend trying one of his off menu specials when heโ€™s working.

Loved my 2 night stay at the Hilton Garden Hotel. My room was very clean, loved the breakfast. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Loved the variety of food. We had a choice of buffet or eating of the menu. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating.

I am very pleased with my stay at this Hilton Garden Inn! The hotel is very modernly furnished, the staff is very welcoming and accommodating (they allowed me to check in early since my flight arrived around noon), and the accommodations exceed my expectations. I stayed in a king suite for two nights on a business trip. I was very pleased with all the options for restaurants in easy walking distance. I highly recommend Bangkok Sushi and Grain & Fruit. As for the room, the bed was very comfortable, there was a lot of storage space, and the desk was large and positioned nicely for conference calls. Overall, great place to stay if youโ€™re in the area!

We usually stay at Comfort Inn but decided to "up our game" on this trip. The problem started when we arrived. They were resealing the asphalt parking lot so a lot of it was blocked off and what few places were left was taken by cars and trucks parking sideways across multiple parking spaces and still others were blocked by orange cones. The second night, the desk attendant told my daughter to park far away in a dark parking lot. Didn't care about the cars parked sideways. Didn't show any compassion to the situation at all. I moved a cone and took a spot. The room was decent. The window gave us a great view of the roof of part of the lower building and side of another part of the building. The beds, in my opinion, were not as comfortable as the other hotels I mentioned. The A/C worked great. The room was cool when we entered and it got cooler very fast. The thermostat had some blown LCD's but you can tell the temperature well enough. The ice machine is right beside the elevator. One curious thing was that the trash bags were just laid across one lip if the trashcans (bathroom and bedroom cans). I mean, even Motel 6 puts the open bags in the cans so they can be used and trash taken out easily, but these trashcans had the new, unopened bags just draped over one rim. Do they expect me to pay more for a room and also open the bags myself? That isn't going to happen. The bathroom had a hanging "barn door" which was cool. The handle to the tub felt loose. I thought it could fall off but it didn't. The water pressure was great. Good hot water. But there was a small sulphur smell to the water. This could be a Florida thing because the water at my in-laws smells and tastes the same so can't hold that against Hilton. My daughter purchased breakfast with the room. NO FREE BREAKFAST? Even Quality Inn has free breakfast. But at least the breakfast here is real eggs which was nice. You can order specially cooked eggs (omelets, over easy, etc.). Browned potatoes, bacon, sausages, bagels, muffins, juices (apple, orange, pink grapefruit). I didn't look at what else was offered. And even though the meal was part of the room deal, when we asked for the omelets, we were brought a bill. It had "complementary" written across it. But 2 omelets was $28? I know it was for the omelets because the second morning we just had the buffet. But apparently the bill was brought for a tip. I think I'll stick with my favorite hotels from now on. With the parking problem and the lack of concern from the desk clerk and the weird thing with the trash bags, it soured me on "fancier" hotels. I'm sorry if the management doesn't like this review, but this was our stay. Don't like not getting rave reviews, fix the problems mentioned.

Wonderful hotel. First time in Tampa last weekend, stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was simple to find, right off the main drag. Plenty of shopping, eating, and entertainment all around the hotel. Lobby was beautiful and clean. They had a restaurant on the side that served an amazing breakfast. Pool was a little on the small side but that wasnโ€™t an issue for us. We stayed in the Junior king suite. G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Entryway had a pullout bed and nice TV with a big marble desk that my wife used for some remote working on her laptop. Mini fridge and microwave. Full mirror in the closet with ample storage. Glass shower was very nice, vanity was a single sink but a huge countertop with another big mirror. Queen size bed with another nice TV in the sleeping area and a beautiful view of the eastern scenery. Overall very happy and will probably be our go-to place when we travel to Tampa.

This hotel has always welcomed me with warmth and made me feel like a very important guest. The rooms are well kept and equipped, the hotel has a great feel and all the amenities are as you would expect for a much higher priced hotel. And the proximity to the highway directly into Tampa is astounding. All in all a great bargain in the TPA area.

Everyone at this hotel was professional and friendly. Front desk ladies were amazing. Enjoyed having everything we needed in the hotel. I will definitely be booking with them again soon.

The room was really nice and mostly clean except for the lone French fry We found behind the bed when our phone fell off the table. Also I understand smokers are not the majority anymore but you have to do better as far as shaded comfortable areas to smoke and please empty those ash trays.

Great location clean comfortable rooms. Didn't like that they didn't have "complimentary" Continental breakfast. It was 9 dollars for the same food that you normally get for free at normal hotels. And a menu if you wanted to order something special.

Great hotel! The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in an area that offers lots of options. Within walking distance letโ€™s lots of restaurants, we had really good Mexican food!

Its a quiet hotel right off the highway, rooms are nice, bar and grill is good. Michelle the main bartender is the best. The others are also good. Barbie the breakfast server is also wonderful. quick service and fun banter. Beds are quite comfortable, shower is hot, good pressure, really no complaints.

My friend was married here 5 years ago. Going in, she wasn't thrilled about the venue as she wanted an outdoor wedding; however, the hotel's team blew us away. They did a great job with catering the event (the food was amazing and they took care of all of the setup). The open bar, both inside the event and in the main lobby, was awesome as well. The rooms were awesome too. She had a two bedroom suite where the wedding party got ready & my room for the night was awesome--especially the shower. The breakfast was also amazing. 10/10.

We booked a block of rooms here for our wedding in March and I can't tell you how amazed we were at our overall experience. Shirra in Sales/Booking team went completely above and beyond what we had expected from a hotel. She helped us save a ton of money leveraging their shuttles instead of limos carting folks back and forth. The location has so much to offer in the surrounding bars and shops and even the night of our wedding, my husband was able to have someone come to the room and put down flower petals and towel swans to make it more romantic. It was one of our best decisions hands down - they're amazing.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are clean and everyone super friendly. The only reason Iโ€™m giving 4 stars is because 3 nights in a row when trying to shower around 9pm the hot water was just like warm

Our experience revolved around accommodating nearly the entirety of our friends and family for our wedding. We worked directly with Caitlin and Shirra and we could not be happier with our choice of hotel! We were able to get everyone that needed a room a room, with a great group rate, and were even able to get a few people in after the cutoff. They were so easy to work with from abroad and we cannot suggest working with them more.

We enjoyed staying here. The room was nice. The restaurant was small but perfect for us. We didn't want to venture outside of the hotel our first night and it was really quiet and relaxing. Michelle took good care of us. The food was a bit pricey but still worth it. Kay at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.

You cannot beat this location. The location is next close to many restaurants and bars. The service and accommodations were exceptional. Also, the hotel restaurant/bar hit the spot with food and drinks. Michelle, the bartender, is amazing! She is kind, attentive and personable. Also, she makes a great espresso martini. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a staycation to visit family and this hotel deserves more than 5 stars. The pictures don't give it justice. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and I liked that even the remote was sealed with plastic post pandemic. And the receptionist Agnus (something along those lines) was one of the best receptionist I've encountered. From greeting as soon as we walked in and from making sure we were ok each time we crossed paths. And the breakfast was really good buffet style but wish it was free breakfast but 12.94 per person isn't bad either.

I stayed here as part of my Daddy's Charlie Co 227th AHB reunion in May of 2022. The location is easy to access from Tampa International and the hotel is well kept, clean and inviting! But the staff is what makes it a 15 out of 10 stars. HUGE shout outs to Heidi, Ronnie & Kay! They have to top my list because I personally interacted with them the most. But Barbie, Michelle, Chandler, Hailey & Jay also worked closely with our reunion and they were TREMENDOUS! Above and beyond at every turn. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was outstanding, the drinks (and service!) were wonderful! And if you wanted a change of scenery, there are multiple restaurants, including a beer garden, within a 5 minute walk to choose from. Only one thing...could y'all pick it up and set it *directly* on the beach, please?๐Ÿ˜

I used to enjoy staying here until they acquired a new front desk person. She was rude on numerous occasions and was in direct violation of HIPPA laws repeatedly inquiring what service my licensed service dog provided. Unbelievable. The room was dank and dark and there was garbage behind the chair in the room and the entire stay by the elevators. Hilton corporate did nothing to address the multiple issues with our stay. Obviously, we will not be back.

I was not expecting much from the hotel when I stayed here recently for work, but I was BEYOND pleasantly surprised. The staff here is the most friendly, competent, and helpful hotel staff I have ever come across. All of our needs for the deposition we were having there were taken care of (room request, amenities/snacks, printing, shipping). We were there multiple days and Agnus saw that I was tired one night and made me a cup of tea for bed. She was so thoughtful! Excellent service by the staff.

I was not a guest at the hotel. I was visiting the International Garden with friends in the same parking lot. As I was leaving, a woman pulled up right close to my car. I did not want her to ding my car so I pulled backwards to another spot. She got out of her car and asked if everything was alright because she works at the hotel and wanted to know why I backed up. I told her that she parked close to my car and I didn't want her door to hit my car. She insisted further discussion arguing that she parked fine after I told her again nothing was wrong. She went behind my car and took a picture of my license plate, stating for documentation. With previous hotel experience, I understand hotel concerns and sharing a parking lot with other venues. However, I felt harassed for just not wanting her to hit my car with her big heavy door and there were plenty of empty spaces beside her as other patrons had left the restaurant.

This is actually a nice hotel. Upon checking in, you are bizarrely asked about why you are there, but you can respond, "that's private" to shut down that intrusion. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. So why the low rating? After checking out, not only were we charged for the room but a second mysterious transaction was applied ... as if we stole something. The amount of the second transaction is low enough as to be more expensive to challenge than just ignore. We spend dozens of nights each year in hotels and Hilton Garden is unique in their approach to enhancing their profits. We recommend bypassing this establishment.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend of our wedding. I couldn't have asked for more hospitable staff. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and took care of anything we needed. Our room was clean and the picture of us on the TV was a really nice gesture. We loved the fire pit and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My husband and I were here for nearly 3 weeks while we were waiting to close on our new house, partly due to the hurricane delaying things. Needless to say, we were a little stressed. This hotel treated us so wonderfully and brought our smiles back every day! We felt so welcome! They were ALL so sweet to our dog, and made the hurricane almost a little fun - between the bar and breakfasts, they were just awesome! Thank you guys at HGI for taking such good care of us, we'll miss you! -The Mullens and Max the Jack Russell in #212
