The staff is amazing. The hotel however needs to be updated desperately. They are literally stock in the 80's. The window in our room was dirty (see pics) but everything else was ok. The sink water had a bit of a smell, so we had to run it for few min before we used it. All in all, not a total bad place if you aren't too picky. Would I stay there again? If I had no choice, yes.

Ok, so I would have given 5 stars. However, I rented a room with a hot tub, and it was almost 300 a night. The price didn't bother me, but the damn roaches did. The room was beautiful but I don't do roaches.

This place is rough. It probably was awesome 20 years ago, but it needs an overhaul. The beds were comfy actually but the AC was super loud and the bathroom had someone’s hair and old soap in it when we arrived. Do not recommend there are lots of other options in the area. And the Shrimp boat restaurant is awful.

Awaken by water pouring down from the ceiling. My clothing, computer/leather computer case, suitcase drenched. Moved to a dirty room! Rude and unconcerned staff! No apology nor compensation for the inconvenience and damaged items! No complaint procedure or incident report. Overall, poor customer service! Roomed at this location multiple times, but the last stays were horrible!

I've seen some bad reviews on here and the owner just says "will look into it" so I'm assuming this won't go to far HOWEVER. We stay here probably every 3 months for the past 10 plus years as we don't live too far and actually normally come to odessa JUST for this hotel. However, at the bar was the pictured lady. She would sit with those 2 gentlemen, and we would stand there staring at her as she just talked and drank until one of the NONWORKERS she was chatting with would tell her "people are at the bar." Then she would sigh get up and come help us. She would make no conversation, no smile, and just the minimum effort. Then at breakfast we met a gentleman there and he was SUPER nice and helpful and friendly (how normally the staff is here) but the next day at breakfast was another lady and WOW. She was rude. We walked in and she was sitting down eating. We went up and said excuse me can we get a omelet? And she rolled her eyes said ugh and stuck a big bite of her food in her mouth and reluctantly got up to help us. She was rude the whole time. We typically love it here but this time was a HUGE let down. As the bartender situation happened on BOTH nights. And the lady for breakfast was just a huge disappointment for this stay.

This is a wonderful hohel in a quiet part of the city. Checking in is easy and fast. The staff is friendly, professional and nice. The pool is clean and food is delicious. There is a lot of space for parking. I will stay here again.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Second, the beds are awesome...more hotels should invest in the mattresses that this hotel has. Air conditioners could use some upgrading because the rooms get fairly warm during the day. The only real negative thing that I must say is that the elevators, where you will most likely interact the most with other guests, are not cleaned as often or thoroughly as they should be. Other than that, this hotel is a great spot for a weekend getaway.

Nice hotel with beautiful lobby, nice big rooms, and great staff. The building seems well designed, well appointed, and taken care of well. Not everything worked perfectly, but the TV lineup ws great, fridge was strong, elevators fast and available, etc Lots of thoughtful touches around too !

My sister's and I were there for a weekend getting away and relaxation. It was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. It's out dated, and the odder was applauding. The pool was supposed to be heated, but it was not and it was also dirty. The hot tub was disgusting and none functioning. They canceled our facials and massages. The food was terrible. We will never recommend this location.

We stayed in the king concierge room. The room was nothing like it said it would be from the website. The room was really dirty and outdated the tv didn’t work, the ac didn’t work and the shower knob was really hard to turn on, and the bed was extremely hard. This was supposed to have been a night to just get away from the home life but in all reality we were more than ready to get out of the room and go home. Save your money and go someplace else.

Maintenance came to my hotel room door to tell me I wasn’t suppose to be in that room due to water leakage. I had already just used the bathroom and was already just sitting in a nearly half filled bath. I insisted to maintenance through my hotel door that I will call the front desk. Of whom was unsympathetic and just said that they’ll find me another room. They hung up so I went to dry off, get dressed and put my things back together. I had open food and drinks too. I get down there only for them to tell me they sent their shuttle guy up to deliver the new key?? I standing there astounded. They never said they were delivering my room keys nor did they think about my safety giving my new room number and current location to another person.. not to mention I already came all the way down holding all of my belongings temporarily put together as fast as I could for them. “Sorry it’s just a leak here is a new key” with this absolute disregard for sympathy, communication, and safety. To turn to her other staff member to continue their chit chat… Do not stay here. Manager on staff said A m a n d a

I went to a restaurant in this hotel for lunch. Parked my semi in the empty parking lot. Came out and was told I need to move my truck if I wasn't staying at the hotel. I told the guy "ok." I popped my hood to midtrip my truck and trailer. Got back in my truck and was about to set my navigation. The police rolled up on me saying the manager had called. I told the officer what happened. He laughed and told me "be safe & have a nice day." That was egregious and unnecessary. Either it was because I was Black or they hate truckers. Either way, I would stay away from this place.

Great hotel! Very nice staff and good restaurant. Factoring in their free shuttle service, I consider their price for a room average and well worth it!

Way too loud. From the traffic on streets, to the a/c in room, and those there taking advantage of the happy hour til near 11pm. The room smelled musty, the shower handle was stuck, so no shower next morning. Alot of furniture in room scratched or damaged. I know it's not the Hilton in big city but thought it would be better.

Was there for an event for the day, we are local. Meeting Room was lovely, temperature controlled. The food was really good, steak fingers mashed potatoes, gravy, salad and peach cobbler. FRESH peaches. It could have used some salt or even seasoning of some kind in the batter, but it was still good. Thank you for the courteous treatment and smiles.

Went for a mid afternoon lunch, 2pm on a Saturday. Host seemed confused on where to seat us. Started clearing a table then went to the kitchen? After 10 min we were about to leave when a waitress came up and preceded to seat us with no problem. We ordered off the menu. Big mistake... my club croissant was toasted so dry it crumbled when i bit into it. The bacon was so overcooked and hard that i couldnt eat it. I actually couldnt break it when i tried cutting it with my knife. Think it was leftover from breakfast buffet. Will I go back? Maybe, but not too soon. There are far better places in town to go to.

6/23....We ate at the seafood buffet on a Friday. .... We arrived about 7:00 pm. The buffet was extremely picked over. Corn on the cob and potatoes and gravy were visibly dry and had been out a long time. There was no one concerned about or in a hurry to replace the food slots that were empty. The pasta bar was okay but communication in English was lacking. Much of the bussing staff did not speak English. Deserts were okay but not outstanding. This was a very expensive meal not worth the money that was charged. The garden salad was the best part of the meal. I have been there before (not at the buffet) and the experience was somewhat better. The seafood buffet on this Friday was not good.

I took my family to eat at the dining establishment there. For it to be a buffet it was lacking food! Empty pans. We got our drinks very late and ended up having to help ourselves because our server wasn't coming around. To top it off my mother got food poisoning and had to go to the hospital. Yea I'd say this was a very bad experience here. Now I know next time not to come here.

I loved this hotel. It was calm and clean. They have a bonfir outside that turns on from 6p.m-11p.m and is a nice little place to hang out at and wind down for the evening. They have soda vendimachines and ice at the end of each floor I assume since I saw them and thought that was cool. They have a snack vending machine on the first floor by the single elevator and I didn't see it until the night I left. They had a little coffee machine with both decaf and regular Starbucks coffee with cups, sugar and some other things too. Only bad thing that I had an issue with was that sometimes people would smoke in the hallway and it would smell horrible. Also we found one bug on the towels provided. I killed it but if I saw one then who knows how many more there are. Overall enjoyable experience here, would recommend to anyone if they have the money.

The rooms are big & clean & they have a nice pool area. We did have an issue with our toilet overflowing when we flushed it but they got us in a new room right across the hall right away.

The place used to be one of the best hotels around. My room in 609 smelled like water damage that didnt get completely dried out. The place needs to be updated. Either way my stay was short and I was able to check in sooner do to a great manager at the front desk.

I attended my 50th high school reunion there. The hotel is beautiful. Our banquet room was decorated to the max. Our room was nice, but the commode was very low and there was a loud noise on the east wall of the room when the a/c came on.

Ive been to many hotels in my life and never enjoyed anything else like I do the elegante. Rates are low, and great service. If you have an issue the staff is extremely helpful and understanding. Rooms are old school lined with old school trim and gold. Beds are more comfortable then mine at home, and every room I've been to has a bathtub! Atmosphere is usually relaxed and peaceful rooms are sound proof. Plus they have a Starbucks so I don't have to get out and drag the wife to one! Lol If you plan on visiting Odessa or Midland the elegante is a must.

King bed was very comfortable, like the refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. But that carpet is filthy and house keeping needs to do a better job on replacing the towels. Hand towels folded nice and neat in the bathroom but both were definitely dirty.

The Hotel and the rooms are great. For the most part the staff is outstanding. However the concierge services when Ms Laura is working is sub standard. Out here oil companies keep these hotels open. When I stay it’s out of my pocket. When you pay extra for a service and treated rudely by the staff you are obligated to make it known. I do not appreciate when I’m taking food too my room that I’m stared down by the hotel driver sitting and feeding his face. This is not the first time this has occurred but it should be the last

Very clean and up todate room. The rooms are large and very quiet so you are able to get your rest that you need. The restaurant on the property is very good and has breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
