Im schönen Taunus gelegen. Wir sind auf den Park gekommen weil wir eine Doku im TV gesehen haben. Viele kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Eintrittspreise sind sehr fair. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gibt eine kleine Show mit verschiedenen Papageien. Anschließend kann man noch ein Foto mit 2 dieser schönen Tiere machen. Kosten dafür faire 3€. Dazu gibt es noch ein ausgedrucktes Foto als Andenken. Sehr viele Gehege. Einige davon kann man begehen und mit etwas Geschick und Glück kann man eine Papageien füttern. Die Kinder und auch wir fanden das sehr toll. Das Wellensittich Gehege war das Highlight für die Kinder. Man wurde ( dank der Hirsekolben welche man am Eingang kaufen kann ) regelrecht belagert. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit nochmals wieder. Danke dass sich hier so wunderbar um die Tiere gekümmert wird!

Being a parrot enthousiast and owner myself, I was appalled by the poor living conditions of most parrots. Partially cold and dark aviaries with very little entertainment/toys. In captivity, parrots needs to exercise their brain with activities to avoid boredom and depression. In addition, their dietary requirements need to be monitored, which is pretty much impossible with tourists buying and feeding high fat junk food (sun flower seeds). So many of these issues are easily solved, but I guess that would impact profit too much.

This place is AMAZING, it is only 7 euros and it was totally worth it. The birds look so happy and they are so gentel when interacting with humans, I loved it!

Die Vogelburg ist für groß und klein ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Vögel und Papageien können gefüttert werden, manche auf eigene Gefahr Es steht auch an den Gehege dran. Es gibt auch Papageien die man im Gehege füttern kann, sie fliegen einem auf die Schulter und sie sind sehr neugierig. Und trotzdem sollte man einfach aufpassen. In den Gehegen wo man rein gehen kann die werden um 17 Uhr geschlossen.

Wir waren positiv überrascht wie groß und schön diese Vogelburg ist. Für 8 € Eintritt pro Erwachsener ist es ein guter Preis der viel bietet. Besonders interessant die großen Gehege die man betreten kann, wo Papageien frei fliegen können.

Sehr, sehr schöne Anlage! Super für die ganz Familie! Selbst mein kleinster, 9 Monate, hatte viel zu sehen! Top Preis, da kann man auch m mit der ganzen Familie einen Ausflug machen! Trotz schlechtem Wetter war es wunderbar!

Ein super tolles Erlebnis. Man sollte unbedingt am Eingang (im Shop) Kolbenhirse für die Wellensittiche mitnehmen. Dann immer rechts halten den langen Weg nach oben, auf der Erhöhung durch die Metalltür. Die Vogelschau darf auch nicht verpasst werden. Die Vögel sind echt gut dressiert und hinterher kann mit den großen Papageien ein Foto gemacht werden. Aber auch die vielen anderen Vögel in den Gehegen unterhalten einen gut und lassen sich mit Geduld sogar anfassen, oder mit Futter kommen sie sogar auf den Arm/Schulter. Es hängen dort zwar viele Schilder, wegen Verletzung, die meisten zeigen aber schon, ob sie angefasst werden wollen. Die kleinen bis mittelgroßen Papageien neigen dann ihren Kopf und lassen sich kraulen. Gebissen sind wir aber schon! Wer da nicht ganz so viel aushält, oder bei Kindern würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Es kann auch schon mal bluten, auch bei den nicht ganz so großen Vögeln die eher unscheinbar aussehen. Die Kinder sollten zum Schutz der Vögel auch nicht alleine in die Gehege! Auf jeden Fall kann hier viel Zeit verbracht werden. Wir waren von 12-18 Uhr(Ende) da. Die Burg/Umgebung ist auch sehr schön. Für mich wirkte sie mehr wie eine Villa aus dem Mittelalter (sehr flach). Es waren dort auch Kinderwagen und Rollstuhlfahrer. Dazu kann ich nur sagen, dass es möglich ist, aber es wird immer jemand gebraucht der einem die schmalen Türen aufhält und das Wege holprig, oder auch mal steil und eng sind. Was einem aber nicht aufhalten sollte so ein schönes Erlebnis zu verpassen. - Eine klare Empfehlung👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Many friendly parrots, good for kids. Good location in hoch taunus

Nice location with a big variety of tropical birds. Sadly the birds mostly look sick and mistreated. Enclosures seem too small for the animals and it shows. First impression was great but it became more and more uncomfortable. Covid-19 Even though it is outside where you generally don't need masks people were huddling together without keeping a safe distance. The small and windy walkways make it hard to keep distance to people. It is not required to wear a mask by the operator.

Die Vogelburg ist besonders für Kinder ein Highlight. Hier kann man in Gehege für Papageien. Diese setzen sich ggf. auf eine Schulter oder Arm. Überall gibt es Futterstationen um die Tiere in ihnen Käfigen zu füttern. Im Kanarienvogel-Haus können diese gefüttert werden. Und mit etwas Geduld werden sie Kanarienvögel zusätzlicher und picken aus der Hand und werden zutrauliche.

A beautiful park for parrot lovers. I've been coming here for 10 years and each time it's a great joy. You will find hundreds of parrots here from South American parrots like macaws and amazons to African Greys and Australian cockatoos (umbrellas, yellow and orange-crested, goffin, Solomon's and galahs.) There are about seven open cages where the visitor can go inside at your own risk, needless to say. Those parrots are all very friendly and even sit on you. Food can be obtained at the entrance of the park to feed the parrots. Visitors can also eat something. The cafeteria there has fantastic cakes. Definitely worth a try. In recent years the cages have been majorly improved, making it truly a beautiful place for the parrots to be and a full-filled day excursion for the whole family.

Eine wunderschöne, sehr gepflegte Vogelburg. Wir waren jetzt bereits zum 2.mal dort und kommen gerne wieder. Hier gibt es auch eine Papageienschule mit tollen Vorführungen. Für das leibliche Wohl ist gesorgt. Es gibt viel Auswahl an Kuchen, Torten, Getränke sowie auch warmes Essen. Ein Besuch ist empfehlenswert. Es ist ein Spaß für Groß und Klein.

Never again! I was shocked at how small the cages were. My children who are aged 5 and 8 were the first ones to comment on this. Cruelty to birds at it's finest, unfortunately!

Am besten ist man gleich morgens da, da ist es noch nicht ganz so voll und die Vögel setzen sich auch schon mal auf die Schulter, um sich füttern zu lassen. Einfach ein toller Park und für Kinder ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful volunteer operated venue hosting hundreds of parrots in different enclosures. Some parrots can be visited inside their cages and you can feed them by hand. The building itself seems like an old castle, feeling like you are transformed to south of France. Worth a visit with fun for the whole family.

There are so many beautiful birds you can see and feed as well as some you can hold. There is a very fun show they have with the birds as well.

Excellent place. Excellent for children and adults. Beautiful little village build for parrots.

Excellent day trip with the kids older than 3 years! If you have time left - a short walk in the fields outside has charming views and real(!) cows.

Very cool sanctuary. There were a couple of places where you could be in an enclosure with some of the birds. Also,there's a slide for the kids in the middle! Definitely recommend

What a fun place. Very good prices. Lots of pretty inactive birds. Great for an afternoon out with the family!

At first I went just because of my boyfriend since he really likes birds, but I had so much fun that afterwards I wanted to also bring my little nephew (2yo). Very nice place, you can get in the cages and feed birds, some of them would also sit on your shoulder. There’s a very nice small cafeteria where you can eat some delicious cakes and have a drink and also a shop to buy some stuffed animals or souvenirs.
