I lived on Grabenstr. 161 for 3 years, and it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and equipped with great furnitures and amenities. The location is very strategic, close to Uni Duisburg-Essen (ca. 10 min walk to BA), Supermarkt (5 min walk), next to a kiosk and also good public transport connection. Tenants and neighbors are friendly, also the house owner is easy to communicate and has been very helpful throughout.

I lived in this house for around 5 years and it is sad that I had to leave such a nice place. First of all, the location of the apartment was absolutely fantastic. There were several bus stops and main train station within walking distance, which made it incredibly easy to get around. The apartment was also fully equipped with everything I needed. The kitchen had all the appliances(perfectly working), bedroom and living room were comfortably furnished. The whole building was clean and well-maintained. The owner of the apartment was also incredibly friendly and cooperative. The availability of the landlord was truly exceptional. He was always just a phone call away (even during off hours and Sundays for urgent situations). In addition to the great transportation and amenities, there were several supermarkets nearby that were within a 5-minute walk. This made it incredibly easy to buy groceries and other essentials without having to travel far. I had a wonderful experience living in this apartment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to call home, especially students.
