I highly recommend taking this tour! It is well worth the very affordable price. Our guide, Dave, was first-rate. His personality was pleasant and delightful. He had a wealth of knowledge that was very enlightening the whole 4 hours!

David was AMAZING. My girlfriend and I did a Frankfurt tour with David and it was the best walking tour we have ever been on. David's mixture of historical knowledge, humour and personal stories makes this tour a must do in Frankfurt! It's like taking a walking tour with your long-lost cool uncle. We were lucky to be the only two on the tour that day which ended up being over 4.5 hours!! (some breaks included). I've done a few tours with them. I especially liked a historic tour of the cemetery and famous people buried there (even a few from The Hindenberg Airship). Highly recommended. First time in Frankfurt with just one day to explore. Dave was a fantastic guide, much more in depth than I anticipated but his witty style kept it interesting. Length of tour was just right. After the tour, I found I was able to navigate the city very easily on my own.

My family and I did the Layover Tour with Jo several years ago. We are on another trip and were talking about how great our quick tour of Frankfurt was. We covered lots of ground and felt like we got a great taste of Frankfurt. Jo met us at the airport and rode the train back to ensure we were just where we needed to be for the next flight. Such a great way to explore Frankfurt during a layover!

Fantastic tour! As a Historian, you could tell that Hayden has such passion for what he does. Just the right amount of info without overwhelming you! As other people have said, the only downside is the 30 minute lunch break. I think most people would prefer to just do another 30 minutes, instead of a 30 minute lunch followed by 30 minute walk to end the tour.

Jo is very sweet and knowledgeable about Frankfurt. You get to see all the major sights near the town hall. Please note that the tour includes a 30 minute lunch break near the end which is weird. Good value although the tour had over 20 people.

Best tour I've ever had. Our tour guide Hayden did a fantastic job. As a historian he gave us very deep insights into the history of Frankfurt, he answered every question asked, and he is very empathetic with the group. Last but not least, Hayden is a witty person, making the tour lighthearted and funny. Definitely 5 stars and a must-do in Frankfurt.

Our tour guide was Angeliki. She was personable, knowledgeable and helpful. This was our first trip to Frankfurt, and we were recommended this tour by our hotel. Jennifer gave us a fabulous tour today! As requested she took us around the Neue Altstadt, Dom and Römer, but added further sights to the tour we had not thought of. Just had a wonderful tour of Frankfurt with Dave. Because of the Iron Man competition today, everyone seemed to be focused on that. So I ended up being the only person to join the tour today. Uncle Dan was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining! It was a full 4 hours of walking and I felt that 14 Euros for all this information was really worth it.

Great tour with Dave. I took my two kids (age 9 and 13) and my sister. Got a great history lesson. Great "comfort stops" to give people a chance to go to the bathroom and then a 30 minute stop at a local market. Get one of the cakes Dave recommends for 2 euros. It is awesome.

The tour description is highly overrated versus what was provided. The tour offered history and education but the tour guide seemed like it was her first time on the route. Save yourself the money and do a self-guided tour.
