Currently only 1 person can be in it. So almost always owns - also small pool. If there are more than 5 people in it, it is overcrowded - Sauna is on one floor below. Then you have to go back through the cold stairwell to the changing room. - no other equipment

The fitnes place is good but the service is terrible. The staff is completely dissyncronised, you get different info from every staff member. I scheduled a meeting and they forgot it... It has happened that we came for sunday yoga and there was no teacher. I had bad experience.

Very cool and varied gym! Beautifully moved by the rooms. Pool, sauna/wellness & roof terrace with a small football playground + basketball hoop, as well as a relaxation area complement the fitness training to a complete experience with holiday leg flavor. . You can soak up the sun on the loungers on the roof terrace. Sufficient space and nice, accommodating service from the team 💪🏽

At first, the quality of the equipment is great and you can find those instruments that you need to build your muscles. Second, the personnel treat well and friendly and try to give you positive energy and last but not least, its a clean and ordered gym. Wish you all the best.

Useless customer service (accounts department) never answers any email and do not respond to your queries regarding payments. Instead of simply answering you so you can settle the payment they will directly forward your case to CashControl and then take forever to respond to CashControl so you are not able to use the facilities for a while. It’s a trap once you are in they will totally neglect any communication with you!

They have useless customer service (account department) never answers emails and when you inquire about fees in order to pay instead of replying to your email simply they forward the case to CashControl despite the reason for the delay is being the Useless customer service and unresponsive accounts department! Why should I pay for a towel service that I already cancelled? They don’t answer your email regarding your cancellation request for an additional service then they expect you to pay for it without answering emails they forward the case to CashControl! Unbelievable! It’s a total trap once you are in they will totally neglect all your emails and requests and expect you to pay for services that you don’t need or else CashControl! Most good reviews are from people who access the facility on Gympass or day pass etc!

It’s an OK gym but as alluded to in some of the comments here, fitness first has terrible customer service. I have a monthly membership and emailed the gym to request to pause this (because I had an injury) and they took more than a week to respond during which time the gym conveniently charged me for one more month of fees.

Nice studio, nice staff, but no check for compliance with the house rules, no nice audience! Experiences from the sauna area: loud arguments between young people, using the pool directly after the sauna without showering first, loud phone calls in the lounge area, rasping of calluses in the steam bath (all experienced on January 18, 2024).

I cannot imagine my life anymore without Fitness First - Platinum Clum in FFM Ostend. It is a great location with everything you need to get in shape or stay in shape. From wellness area to all various courses you can enjoy, there is always something for everyone that makes you wanna go to the gym after a long day at work or during weekends. Moreover, you have always free parking places and the nice and helpful personell is always there to welcome you and make you feel like home. It is never too crowdy, long opening hours and a perfect place to meet new people if you are new in town.

Perfect vibe and location in Ostend. The greatest view and swimming pool as well as various sports activities in daily basis. Highly recommend for neighbors around!

I love Fitness First studios, great facilities. However they have limited flexibility for people like me that are in Germany on 14-30 days job assignment (except if you want to pay 30 Euro a day for a day pass, which is whooping 900 Euros a month ). Bummer! In case anyone is the same boat as me: McFit 10 Euro a day pass, Fitness Fabrik (and other studios within the same company) 10 Euro a day pass.

Full, with waiting for devices. Sauna full of people without towels or in swimming trunks, that's what it smells like too. Changing rooms that are too small and old.

I absolutely love my Fitness First experience! The studio offers an outstanding selection of modern equipment and courses. The atmosphere is motivating and the staff is extremely helpful. The cleanliness and maintenance of the studio deserve extra praise - everything always looks well-kept and inviting. An all-round successful fitness experience that I can recommend without reservation.

Very clean fitness studio. Unfortunately, the treadmills are getting a bit old (the system simply restarts and the training session is aborted). But the entire team/staff is really helpful and patient. Special thanks to Philipp and Yasin.

The FitnessFirst people... pretty cool and one: bottom drawer. Was there as a day guest. I asked if I could take a towel and was looked down upon and told that others would pay 16 euros for it. But I could get one for a good review. Are you still okay, Christopher? Otherwise the store is ok. But I won't go there anymore.

I've recently become a member of Fitness First and it's really great. I personally cannot understand 90% of the negative reviews. Friendly staff, clean studio and good audience. The selection of devices is OK, not great, but it's enough. Showers were clean and tidy. So overall a good studio for the price

The studio is well equipped and more attention is now paid to cleanliness. The wellness offering is also top. The only bad thing is that employees often get up on the “wrong foot”. If you forget your card, expect an eye roll… Otherwise satisfied!

Amazing place, amazing people, amazing environment. I tried a lot of gym all over the Germany. But this one is by far the best. I am completely a fan of this place. I loved the swimming pool and all the machines. The machines are hi-tech and new. The safety measures are well taken. Overall, a well decorated high performance gym. On the plus side, it has really good free wifi.

This gym was very accommodating to me and my wife by offering a free day pass. The facility is well kept, clean and with tons of equipment to satisfy whatever kind of workout you are looking for. Definitely recommend if you are in town and Looking for a gym.

I signed up with Fitness First while living in Hamburg. I then moved to Munich, and then I realized that they only have the Black Belts gym and no Red Belt gyms. This means that I cannot use the gyms in Munich, because my red belt membership does not allow to go to black belt gyms. I contacted customer service many times, trying to exlpain my situation on what we can do...because I do not want to upgrade to a black belt because it is more expensive and I financially cannot afford it. Therefore, I am now paying for 7 months a membership that I cannot even use in Munich. I am throwing money away...and they seem to not care because they are making money from me. Niclas from customer service has been replying to emails with no interest in looking into my situation. Terrible support from Fitness First.I will now have to pay for another year despite not being able to use their gym. Awful support and highly dissapointed.

Great staff, several speak English too (new expat!), spacious, good for cardio and free weights. Facilities like parking etc are much appreciated too. Cleaning in the men's locker room needs to be better though, huge balls of dust roam around under the benches!

Extremely friendly staff, was able to work-out while i stayed at s nearby hotel. The A/C was very powerful and an absolute blessing! I really appreciated the multi-level layout.

I've never been in contact with fitness first in any way, but emails with newsletters are still being spammed and even when I unsubscribe, I get the wonderful message that "I won't get any more emails" and it continues with several emails every day. It now ends up in the spam folder, but it's still tiring if an important email comes into the folder and I have to get past 60 advertisements
