We wanted to visit the place as a family of eight and we were refused to use one table. The owner was rude, very unfriendly and did NOT care about us as customers at all. Considering all the good google reviews, we are very disappointed about the service staff unfriendly behaviour!!!

Good food and good people what else can be better. Authentic German foods! Here is the go to place after a long hike from the mountains

Food was delicious, one of the best rump steaks (and pepper sauce) I have had in a long time. Hubby had schnitzel with cream and mushroom sauce, son had schnitzel with chilli pepper sauce. They loved theirs too, and they agree best meal for a long time. We all could not resist the Apple strudel, tasty, with ice cream and cream. Excellent service, pleasant staff, did not have to wait too long. The restaurant had a busy Friday night ahead but staff managed to find an early table. Atmosphere was a lovely setting, rustic interior, friendly, not too noisy, pleasant background chatter.

Stopped here a few times on our stay in Neckargemund. Wonderful staff and patrons! Great Atmosphere! Christmas Dinner of Jagerschnitzel and Greek Schnitzel was fantastic!

Nice little restaurant in an “old barn”. Very friendly staff. The food was typical palatine and Frankish dishes.

I went here around March. The atmosphere was very nice, not too crowded or loud. We were seated with another couple and it was pleasant. The only thing that I struggled with was the dressing on the Salad. It tasted good and my boyfriend loved it, I'm just not a fan of that type of dressing. It's more of the look than taste. I'm a very picky eater

Small and cozy with very nice staff and as authentic German food as you'll ever find. Excellent schnitzel menu and plenty of other great options too, all of which are very reasonably priced.

Typical food and wine for the region. We enjoyed a very delicious dinner for a decent price. You can sit on the waterfront and enjoy drinks and snacks or visit the lovely rooms. You might wanna make a reservation.

Very rustic restaurant, dark wood beams, wonderful miniatures of little kitchen's in the wall, service is friendly and attentive, menu is local basic stuff, most of it home cooked, which naturally takes it's time to be prepared, tasted excellent, gravy and garnish a plenty. We had a great time and will come again

Rustic place with traditional German home-style cuisine. Indoor seating is pretty crammed; outdoor seating is on a small cobblestone square next to a church and the Neckar river and has a nice athmosphere. The service is good and the food is even better!
